Today was my first time using this business, and I was really impressed! The manager Matt was friendly, knowledgeable and communicated very well. He explained what may or may not need to be done on my 2018 BMW X3. He walked thru the pictures of my vehicle and explained what needed to be done soon, versus what could wait a while. He also made sure I had a ride each way from the business to my house, and back. The service area was very clean and my car was fixed the same day as I brought it in. Pricing was reasonable compared to the dealer!

First of all, Brian and Matt are great to work with. Both are very knowledgeable about cars and know how to explain what work took place on your car. My most recent experience was with my recent purchase, a Porsche 911 which is now 10 years old. I had the oil changed, new air filters installled along with an interior cabin filter. I also had a new gear shifter from Euro Impulse installed to replace the pdk shifter and also replaced the orange side markers with clear led, Euro style side markers. Everything was completed in about a day and a half, Allied Auto Works did a great job. I have three cars which I take to Allied Auto Works: my BMW, Mazda and now my 911. Thanks for taking such good care of my cars.

2013 Lexus 450h with a steering problem (pulling Left and getting worse) that I, the all-knowing Owner, self diagnosed as either a wheel bearing failure or steering rack issue. Allied diagnosed it — correctly! — as a tire related issue since the tires were 9+ years old and showing minimal tread. Four new tires were fitted and now it steers Like New! Therefore: I highly recommend Allied. Don’t mess around with anyone else!

My 2008 Highlander wouldn't start and was giving me Check Hybrid System & Check Brake System messages. I stopped by Allied Auto and talked to Bryan, and explained my dilemma-- I didn't want to spend $6k to repair a car that was only worth $4k but at the same time, I didn't want to discard a car that has been great for my family for so long without at least a token attempt to figure out what it would take to fix-- but didn't want to tow the car to a shop for a full diagnostic. And Bryan agreed to come to my house-- couple hours later, he came over and plugged in their diagnostic tool and told me the error-- and the likely paths to resolution (it wasn't a full diagnostic so not 100% certain what the solution would be), but there was enough detail for me to know the solutions required wouldn't be cost beneficial. Bryan was incredibly generous with his time and explained everything in detail. Truly great service-- really appreciate it.

Worked with few mechanics over past 35 years. Mostly paid extra and went to original car dealers and later worked with a repair shop in Palo Alto which was awesome but unfortunately shut down when the owner decided to retire. After a few experiments went to Allied ( who actually is the closest to where I live. They are awesome. Our two BMWs and my Porsche are in great hands!!

We've been an Allied customer for over a decade and only use them for servicing our cars. They do a great job and are always straight-shooters. We recommend them to everybody we know.

Took BMW X5 in for oil change and brake flush. Very easy to make appointment and approve/review work. Team was very quick and responsive. And all at a very reasonable price. Will continue to bring out cars here for service.

I stopped by Allied Auto Works for the first time last week to see if they could help me replace my left front headlight on my Kia Sedona. It is a bulb that is harder than most to replace. Right away they took a look and made the replacement. I am very grateful to have both lights working and it was such a quick and easy process.

Mercedes sl 500 hydraulic suspension failed, towed to allied. Allied identified a bursted hydraulic line is the main reason. Fixed and car is working great. There is still ABC warning flashing occasionally, but no fault has been registered. Allied advised against doing more fixes without identify the point of fault as MB hydraulic parts are outrageously expensive. We are taking their advice to drive the car for a few weeks and then bring the car back for another round of (free)check.

I had a great experience here! Matt was very helpful and made the entire experience great!! I brought my 2021 BMW there for an oil change and yearly maintenance. Matt gave me an estimate before they started and it was exactly what he told me when they finished. Very polite and appreciative that I brought my car there. I'll be back!!

My family and I have been coming to this shop for years. We always trust their advice and they have great customer service. I recently went for servicing for my Kia K5. They were super informative about everything they did. I highly recommend this place!

Very professional! Business like but friendly. Really helped that they have service to assist in the transport. Very prompt in giving the estimates and easy to understand and code it so you can make an evaluation and decision correctl.

Matt took very good care of me by getting all the necessary work done at the end of the day! They were kind to have a driver take me back home and a driver to pick me up! I'm so grateful for their excellent service.

I recently took my Audi Q5 to Allied Auto Works in Los Altos and was absolutely blown away by the service. From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. The precision in troubleshooting was truly remarkable; they quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue with my Q5, which saved me time and worry. Communication throughout the process was excellent—they kept me informed every step of the way with clear explanations and approval before any work was done. The quality of work performed is outstanding; my Audi is running perfectly. Lastly, I have to mention the shop itself: it is absolutely immaculate! This attention to detail reflects the high standard of care they put into every repair. Highly recommend Allied Auto Works for any vehicle service!

Took my 2014 Wrangler Unlimited and they sorted out all the problems really quick. As soon as I got there I saw 2 other Wranglers so I knew I was in good hands. Would recommend them for Jeep Wrangler repairs.

This was my first time at the shop. Passed by it for years and decided to give it a try . They let me know they will do a free inspection of my vehicle, which was great. They gave me a ride to work and picked me up. They send you a link on your phone of your vehicles status and what they have found with pictures. They ask if you approve the repair. You can do it on the link. All hassle free. Great service, price was great, better then the stealer dealer. If you need work done on your vehicle ,I recommended this shop.

Once a warranty runs out on any of my / my kids cars, these guys are my Go To for anything mechanical. Honest, reliable work. Highly recommend them and have to many.

I received exceptional service for my 2025 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Repair for re-attachment of front bumper section was performed in a single day. The car looks flawless, the work was top notch and finally, the repair cost was - for me - almost unimaginably reasonable given average repair costs. I have nothing but good words to say about these folks. If needed, I'll be returning again.

Great experience working with Allied Auto work on my 10 year old c300. The process was very transparent, issues found were clear documented w/ pictures too, all digital easy to access, communication was prompt, fix was quick and smooth. They also offer ride for neighborhood. Everyone was friendly. Price wise, not the lowest, but better than dealer. Great local shop to have around.

Matt was able to work my daughter’s car in when they were extremely booked. Matt worked extra hard on every detail and the mechanics noted all the other problem areas (the car is quite old). They fixed everything before my daughter had to return home and she was very pleased to have it taken care on such short notice.

I have been going to Allied Auto for almost 15 years and a couple of cars. Their customer service is excellent and I trust their advice and workmanship completely. They also have helped me out with things like tire pressure check, oil top off before a long road trip and batteries for my keys as just part of their service to me as a continuing customer. My cars have been a BMW and a VW and they are extremely knowledgeable on both.

I took my 2009 VW Rabbit in for service and was extremely impressed with the efficiency and communication. They were very knowledgeable , friendly and the service charge was reasonable. They showed pictures of all the issues and thoroughly explained all that they did. I would highly recommend!

Update 1/10/25: Brought my wife's Audi in after similar poor experience from manufacturer's service center. ONCE AGAIN, Allied was professional, honest with their assessment, and saved us a ton of money by not making us do unnecessary repairs that the dealership told us was needed. Lastly (I understand how small of a gesture this is), they smiled when I walked in. The little things matter! After going to my car dealer's service shop and having a terrible experience, I went to Allied Auto on a recommendation. Overall, this is a top notch service center with some of THE BEST customer experience. It was incredibly easy to book an appointment and drop off my car. They set proper expectations on timing to pick up. Finally, when I went to get my car, I received a thorough and articulate explanation of what they recommend for my vehicle. Estimated repairs were drastically less than my dealer and they recommended which repairs were needed now vs. later. They established trust so I felt comfortable with the information I was given about my car. I have now scheduled my follow up repairs and I was shocked when told today there was a reduction in price on one of the parts - they could have kept that amount for extra margin! The transparency, professionalism, and care from their team led me to recommend my other family members with older cars. I will go back if and when more repairs are ever needed.

The techs at Allied Auto Works have done a couple repairs to my 14 year old Ford recently (which is on its slow decline to becoming scrape). They are friendly and responsive which is great when dealing with the frustrating task of car repairs. Allied has also been really fast with my repairs which is fantastic because being without my vehicle for long can be super inconvenient. Their prices may be higher than other mechanics but I trust them to get the job done fast and right the first time. I will keep bringing my car here till it's dead!
