Probably the smoothest, professional transaction I’ve ever conducted at a car dealership. Marcus was prompt in his communication and we got a deal done in roughly an hour over the phone. This made it relatively painless to just come in and sign papers. Car was detailed and ready to go. Definitely would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

I visited the dealership intending to test drive a vehicle I had been considering and was greeted by Ryan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and maintained a comfortable, no-pressure approach throughout the process. Ryan answered all of our questions and made the experience enjoyable. We returned the following day ready to purchase and were in and out of the dealership within two hours. Jeff was also very helpful and polite during the process and kept his word regarding our negotiated price. On a later visit, I returned to have a manufacturer paint chip addressed, and I left just as happy as before. Desmond & team honored their promise to remove the chip, washed my car (since the detailers were unavailable on the day of purchase), and even sent me home with a full tank of gas. I greatly appreciated how polite and professional everyone we interacted with was throughout the entire experience. Overall, it was smooth, efficient, and pleasant from start to finish.

I scheduled a test drive over the phone with a sales rep and drove nearly an hour to the dealership, arriving at the agreed time. Upon arrival, I was told the car had been sent for a smog test and would be back in 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes with no updates, I had to ask—only to be told “a couple more minutes.” Over an hour later, a staff member finally informed us that they had just discovered a couple of recalls on the car. This raises serious questions: Why schedule an appointment if the vehicle wasn’t even ready or available? Why wasn’t this information known beforehand? Most frustratingly, no one apologized or took ownership of the situation. The experience was highly unprofessional—from the sales rep who set the appointment, to the finance manager, to the woman who finally delivered the news. Poor communication and lack of accountability throughout. Would not recommend based on this experience.

After experiencing other dealerships I went in unsure if I’d leave with a car, but the new owner Rick and the team at Nissan of Gilroy really came through. They were patient, professional, and made the whole process feel human. I didn’t feel pressured, and there was none of that performative energy I’ve dealt with elsewhere. Rick was super responsive and supportive throughout, which made all the difference. The entire team made me feel calm and taken care of from start to finish. I’m so grateful for how everything unfolded and will definitely be sending anyone I know to check them out. I know where I’ll be going for any future car purchases. Just made a purchase today at Nissan of Gilroy the salesperson Ryan Ariano gave us the best experience and made us feel welcome and the finance advisor Freddy Castillo was able to make it works for us and get a finance with our credit union to be able to get our dream car. 100% recommend this dealership they listen to your circumstances and make an ease to get a great deal. They gained our family’s trust and a new customer.

Literally cannot put into words how happy I am with this dealership. I never write reviews for anything but I had to make an exception for this because they helped me when I lost all hope with getting a new car. I recently bought a car from this dealership in December 2024, they sold me a brand new 2025 Nissan Sentra SV. To add, I just recently had went in for help with my license plates and even that was a positive experience along with a few weeks later a routine service. I honestly can’t wait to go back. I really enjoyed the environment there, everyone was very professional. I felt confident and relaxed unlike any other dealership I have been to. A huge Thank you to all those who helped me, Maria, Rick, and Crystal. You made this experience unforgettable. If I could rate more stars I definitely would!

This review is way long overdue as I should have written this back in April 2024. I wanted to thank and commend Jose Maravilla and Corey Cutler for their excellent customer service and advocacy when I brought my new-to-me, “Certified Pre-Owned” Nissan Frontier Pro-4X, which I purchased from another different Nissan dealership. I noticed the Frontier had several issues, including some issues with the infotainment system, the instrument cluster, some outstanding TSB’s, and the spare tire was flat with a nail in the sidewall. I worked with the manager from the original dealership I purchased the Frontier from and advised him of the issues I came across. The manager, Bryan, assured me that he would address and fix all of my issues, and provided me with Corey’s contact at Gilroy Nissan, which was closer to me anyway. I contacted and met with Corey, the service manager, who was a pleasure to work with. He genuinely wanted to help me fix the all of the issues. Corey then put me in contact with Jose, who was my main point of contact for the service/warranty work. Jose always kept me updated through texts and calls, and was very swift with warranty requests and the actual service. Jose was a huge advocate for me, and I felt like I was really being taken care of. I highly recommend going to Gilroy of Nissan for service, specifically to Jose and Corey because they were so honest and proactively wanting to help. Although finding this issues on the Frontier and having to jump through a bunch hoops to fix it was a huge hassle, finding trustworthy service guys like Jose and Corey was all worth it. Jose (and the service team) took care of all the issues on my vehicle, and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service and customer advocacy.

First time car buyer and I could not be any happier with my purchase and my shopping experience with such professionals. I was taken care of by Michelle and her amazing team. Upon arrival to Nissan of Gilroy, I was greeted and welcomed by Maria. Maria is a sales associate at Nissan. After a few questions and laps around the lot, Maria and I were able to narrow down the perfect Nissan for me. I decided on a Nissan Sentra 2024. Maria walked me through all the different trim models that Nissan of Gilroy had to offer. I test drove them all after Maria insisted to find the one I felt most comfortable in. I finally came to a decision on which model and trim was best for me, all thanks to Maria’s dedication to go above and beyond when helping her clients. I chose a Nissan Sentra 2024 in the SV trim in the Gun Metallic color. After a few moments Maria introduced me to her lovely general manager Michelle who informed me that Nissan of Gilroy did not have the color I wanted in their lot. But Michelle told me not to worry she would make a few calls and have the car in her lot. I trusted in Michelle, and Michelle and her team got back to me in less than 12 hours. Michelle went above and beyond to find me the Nissan Sentra SV 2024 in Gun Metallic. I was impressed with commitment and promise to do her best and get me the car that I wanted. After getting the car to Nissan of Gilroy. Michelle asked me to test drive my car because she is a professional who wants to ensure you are leaving a happy client and you feel comfortable and confident in the car you leave in. If I could recommend a dealership for first time buyers I would highly recommend Nissan of Gilroy. Look for Maria and Michelle. You are promised to leave a happy client. Thank you Nissan of Gilroy.

To Mario, Emilio and I believe his name was Christian who was so nice to show me and educate me on my new car! I know it’s been just a few days, but I’m so happy and absolutely in love with my new car. As a second time Nissan Sentra owner I’m pretty impressed with this vehicle and all the upgrades in comparison to my previous car, but after 15 years this one is just a magnificent car all around and with so many upgrades I’m just blown away! I had a okay experience with my first Nissan Sentra back in 08 at another dealership near my house, but taking a hour drive to Gilroy was nothing compared to the service I got. I truly appreciate all these three men who helped me this past Sunday. Thank you so much for taking care of my needs and the warm welcoming feeling my family and I were given, but over all the upmost professionalism you all had. I’m super appreciative for the service and I’m so happy that my second car continues to be a Nissan Sentra! Many thanks to you all.
