The service department of Nissan is great! We brought the car in for a noise wuh wuh wuh After taking the car to Cardindale Nissan, they didn’t even attempt to locate the issue. Because of that, my sister had some trust issues. She had me looking at the vehicle for her, and I could only re-create the sound from the struts with my noise analyzer, I thought it was a wheel bearing because the Cardindale dealer had rotated the tires and the noise was still in the front. I explained this to them and they checked it again and still said it was tires. After we get the car back and pay their diagnostic fee. I swapped the tire that they said was bad To the right rear,but only After checking for the cupping that they said existed, I found feathering on the left tire driver side and the driver rear tire. Swapping the left driver side and driver rear tire would create the same issue due to feathering being existent on both tires so I swapped it with the right rear, and the noise went to the rear. This confirmed that they were right About the tire noise and it also helped my sister to start having trust in shops again. But the Nissan service staff were excellent and they accurately diagnosed the problem and I would recommend Taking their advice, their professionalism is definitely appreciated.

I've been a customer of this dealership since 2023, and many nearby Nissan dealerships in the Bay Area since 2017. I am happy to hear that it's under new ownership. The new team works hard and they are eager to earn your business. They have highly qualified EV and GTR techs, making this dealer a go to place for the high end Nissan vehicles. If you are a Nissan enthusiast like myself, you will be happy to know that the owner is an enthusiast too. If you are in the Bay Area and looking for a better sales or service experience, look them up.

They are a terrible car lot who does not care about the customers at all. Same with their other dealership in Tracy Maniac motors. All they care about is money and not trying to make long time customers. They charge non refundable deposits, they force add one that they refuse to take off so they can get even more money out of you. Terrible buying experience do not deal with these shady crooked people. Find an honest dealership to work with.

Good experience not great.
Nissan of Gilroy sold me a beautiful gently used Elantra that I love. It had an unbeatable price, and mileage. So, if thats what matters most for you then Gilroy Nissan might be the spot for you.
The sales associate Ryan was very nice, and did an excellent job of not pressuring me. His hands off approach is definitely my preferred tactic. He did most of the leg work on the front end of the sale, and I appreciate his demeanor and hardwork. And the sales manager/finance manager finished up the paperwork and loans for me.
The one hiccup, which is why they get 4 stars, I have is it took several weeks for the car to get cleaned(detailing wasnt done when I arrived). A process that long defintely affects the buying experience, but in the end they held up to their word(and thats what matters). They worked extra hours post sale to make it happen, and I appreciate that effort. Jose, the sales manager, was very helpful in getting the whole process done. Their GM Joey was very kind and understanding. He really made the extra effort to ensure the customer was happy in the end.
So, if youre looking for a great car at a great price I would recommend Nissan of Gilroy to anyone looking for a great car at a great price.Nov 17, 2025 -

it is rare for me to leave a negative review, but Nissan of Gilroy is the esception that deserves it. I got my 2025 Nissan Sentra in June, fourth Nissan bought at this location, but within 4 months had issues with display8ing incorrect speed limit sign. Tech replicated but then they said Nissan claimed dirty windshield. within next 3 weeks had 3 more issues, warning message displayed three times that emergency braking system turned off for no reason, high beams not working (did previously) on auto setting, and engine idle kicking in at stop sign when manual said it should not. Took in to the Gilroy of Nissan dealership, and Shane, the very rude service manager gave me work oerder (after saying I would leave the car as long as he wanted it) for $970 aed said *I would be charged if they decided they could not replicate. Said had videos or pictures of every item, he did not care, and they would determine if I was charged. For warranty on a 5 month old car. I left and am pursuing other options through BBB and Nissan. Do not know if they do this to minimize warranty service costs (which he said the charge was to offset,) take advantage of a senior person, or something else, but absolutely disreputable. Would not recommend buying a new or used car here (go to the dealership in Salinas or San Jose) or taking anything here fore repair or service. This is a dealership that just took over mid-year, and needs to go out of business with how they manage their business. End of day each business is owned by people who investe3d money. But DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Word of advice from a very unhappy former customer.

‼DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM HERE WITHOUT GETTING IT INSPECTED FIRST‼
I found a used car here. KEEP IN MIND: it had a “safety ok” sticker on the windshield, meaning they did a full safety inspection, as they should selling used cars. Literally two days after I brought my car home, the brakes were squeaking to a point of making my ears bleed. Not a little bit while I held the brake, it was until the car was fully stopped. People stared at me and covered their ears because of how bad the noise was. I didn’t feel safe enough driving it back to Gilroy to have them fixed, so I had to pay almost $1,000 out of pocket, JUST TO FIND OUT THE AXEL BOOTS ARE TORN AND NEED TO BE REPLACED TOO, ON TOP OF AN ENTIRE LIST OF THINGS which is just shy of $3,800 to fix.
Half of these issues are part of the safety inspection they supposedly perform, which I was clearly lied to about. I was told there’s no way this would’ve been missed, but somehow mine was? They did reimburse me for the brakes after over a month, but now there’s a whole other list of things that they refuse to help me with. The only option they gave me to resolve this issue is by spending MORE money and paying THEM more for a “new car” from them, which one, I don’t trust their cars in any way shape or form; two, I can’t afford a more expensive car, which is all they have; and three, they just want more money out of ME. They absolutely lie about the inspections they do there. I’m seeing issue after issue.
Now onto management. It has been the biggest hassle I’ve ever had to deal with while buying a car to get ahold of literally anyone. Jose is the sales manager I dealt with. He has practically ghosted me in the middle of trying to fix the issues I’ve had. I have had to SPAM call and text him and the dealership, which barely helps anything. Then I got involved with someone named Joey because Jose got tired of hearing about it I guess but yet, I haven’t gotten anywhere with this situation. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been clueless. This dealership is money hungry, and they don’t care about their customers. They see them as numbers and refuse to help with the cars they refused to fix.
I’m VERY disappointed and will be looking into taking legal action against this dealership.Oct 29, 2025 -
Very smooth transaction. Ryan was very attentive and let us test drive the vehicles we came there to see. I didn’t get the manager’s name, but he was great and gave us honest feedback regarding our trade-in vehicle. Julio was fast and furious with the loan documentation and paperwork. All in all great car buying experience.

He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and took the time to explain everything clearly without ever being pushy. We really appreciated his honesty and transparency and patience throughout the process — it made us feel comfortable and confident with our decision.
Señor Ramon and Julio Medel from Finance manager and Joey Powers all listened to what we were looking for answered all our questions with patience, made the deal like no other and made the entire experience smooth. Probably the smoothest, professional transaction I’ve ever conducted at a car dealership. Marcus was prompt in his communication and we got a deal done in roughly an hour over the phone. This made it relatively painless to just come in and sign papers. Car was detailed and ready to go.

I visited the dealership intending to test drive a vehicle I had been considering and was greeted by Ryan. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and maintained a comfortable, no-pressure approach throughout the process. Ryan answered all of our questions and made the experience enjoyable. We returned the following day ready to purchase and were in and out of the dealership within two hours. Jeff was also very helpful and polite during the process and kept his word regarding our negotiated price.
On a later visit, I returned to have a manufacturer paint chip addressed, and I left just as happy as before. Desmond & team honored their promise to remove the chip, washed my car (since the detailers were unavailable on the day of purchase), and even sent me home with a full tank of gas. After experiencing other dealerships I went in unsure if I’d leave with a car, but the new owner Rick and the team at Nissan of Gilroy really came through. They were patient, professional, and made the whole process feel human. I didn’t feel pressured, and there was none of that performative energy I’ve dealt with elsewhere.
Rick was super responsive and supportive throughout, which made all the difference. The entire team made me feel calm and taken care of from start to finish.

Literally cannot put into words how happy I am with this dealership. I never write reviews for anything but I had to make an exception for this because they helped me when I lost all hope with getting a new car. I recently bought a car from this dealership in December 2024, they sold me a brand new 2025 Nissan Sentra SV.
To add, I just recently had went in for help with my license plates and even that was a positive experience along with a few weeks later a routine service. I honestly can’t wait to go back. I really enjoyed the environment there, everyone was very professional. I felt confident and relaxed unlike any other dealership I have been to. This review is way long overdue as I should have written this back in April 2024. I wanted to thank and commend Jose Maravilla and Corey Cutler for their excellent customer service and advocacy when I brought my new-to-me, “Certified Pre-Owned” Nissan Frontier Pro-4X, which I purchased from another different Nissan dealership. I noticed the Frontier had several issues, including some issues with the infotainment system, the instrument cluster, some outstanding TSB’s, and the spare tire was flat with a nail in the sidewall. I worked with the manager from the original dealership I purchased the Frontier from and advised him of the issues I came across. The manager, Bryan, assured me that he would address and fix all of my issues, and provided me with Corey’s contact at Gilroy Nissan, which was closer to me anyway.
I contacted and met with Corey, the service manager, who was a pleasure to work with. He genuinely wanted to help me fix the all of the issues. Corey then put me in contact with Jose, who was my main point of contact for the service/warranty work. Jose always kept me updated through texts and calls, and was very swift with warranty requests and the actual service. Jose was a huge advocate for me, and I felt like I was really being taken care of.
I highly recommend going to Gilroy of Nissan for service, specifically to Jose and Corey because they were so honest and proactively wanting to help. Although finding this issues on the Frontier and having to jump through a bunch hoops to fix it was a huge hassle, finding trustworthy service guys like Jose and Corey was all worth it.

To Mario, Emilio and I believe his name was Christian who was so nice to show me and educate me on my new car! I know it’s been just a few days, but I’m so happy and absolutely in love with my new car. As a second time Nissan Sentra owner I’m pretty impressed with this vehicle and all the upgrades in comparison to my previous car, but after 15 years this one is just a magnificent car all around and with so many upgrades I’m just blown away! I had a okay experience with my first Nissan Sentra back in 08 at another dealership near my house, but taking a hour drive to Gilroy was nothing compared to the service I got. I truly appreciate all these three men who helped me this past Sunday. Thank you so much for taking care of my needs and the warm welcoming feeling my family and I were given, but over all the upmost professionalism you all had. I’m super appreciative for the service and I’m so happy that my second car continues to be a Nissan Sentra! Many thanks to you all.
