Great boutique winery. By appointment only, but we were fortunate enough to get one same day. Came highly recommended by friends, and did not disappoint.

A beautiful location with helpful, friendly, and accommodating staff. Robert the manager squeezed us in and Syenna provided us with friendly recommendations based on her own experiences with the wine offered at Rusack. The grounds are impeccably maintained. Even the restrooms are nicely done and sparkling clean. Reservations are required in advance.

Really beautiful property. Make a reservation if possible. Wine is really excellent. Sierra was so knowledgeable and helpful in selecting our wines to drink.

We really enjoyed our time at Rusack Vineyards for our day trip to Solvang for my best friend's bachelorette party! We called and were able to get a reservation for our party of 4. The employee who served us was super nice, the wine was delicious and the scenery was beautiful! I have already recommended this as a stop for other friends who are planning trips to Solvang! We will definitely be coming back!

We always enjoy the serenity that is offered on the Rusack patio. Pam and Stephanie are so knowledgeable and can find answers to almost any question. Finally decided to join their revamped wine club with the various tiers, benefits, and interesting events.

We LOVED our experience at Rusack. Frank was our server and he did an incredible job. We arrived and Frank had already set up our table and was waiting for us with glasses of white wine. We sat in the trees with the cutest yellow finches and hummingbirds taking a bird bath. Frank did the best job at explaining the wines while also letting us have our own independent experience. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to! The bathrooms were really nice and overall the place was well looked after and beautiful.

The combination of perfect weather, beautiful patio and delicious wine made it a 5 star visit. ? We got a bottle of the 2018 cab Sauvignon from Santa Barbara and it was delicious!!

My parents and I had a fabulous experience here. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It's a beautiful winding drive through the vineyards to get there. The outside seating is nicely set and shaded with a view of the vineyard and hills. The wine was delicious; they had preset flights, you could create your own flight, or even just enjoy one or two glasses of wine. We loved the Sauvignon Blanc, the Cabernet Sauvignon, and even took home a bottle of the 2017 Reserve Pinot Noir which was delightful. The cheese and charcuterie plate we had ordered was high end. Robert took care of us and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you find yourself visiting Solvang, consider driving away from the crowds and into the countryside to try this place, but make sure to reserve your table ahead of time. I will definitely be back!

The service provided by Austin was great. He was delightful and very knowledgeable about the different wines. Our disappointment comes mostly from the "2-people cheese and charcuterie plate" that turns out to be a small box from a vendor with mostly cheese and barely 2 slices of prosciutto. Very disappointing and not worth the $20 price tag. The wines were hit and miss. We shared the Estate flight and our favorite was the Zinfandel and the Reserve Syrah in second (avoid the non-reserve).

Had a great afternoon of sampling some very nice wines. Rusack grows a number of different varietals which gives the guest a number of different options for tasting.

We came here on a Monday but the winery was full of people. Of course that makes it less enjoyable. They will not have the time to talk much. They were with the fermentation tanks right beside the testing room. The smell was very telling (good for me) and the windows let us see the lady steering the liquid. So, service was good and the wines are good as well. The deck is wonderful for picknicking. $18 for the flight is at the limit of reasonable but it is OK for my standards.

Wonderful location. They allow you to bring your own food, which we did. Beautiful place for a picnic. Wine was enjoyable but did not blow me away. Staff were a bit abrasive. Next time I might opt to drive to Los Olivos or Santa Ynez for a better tasting.

Rusack has a serene outdoor tasting area that is mostly shaded with a great view of the neighboring landscape. It can be quite crowded on the weekends. You can also bring in outside food to enjoy a picnic lunch or charcuterie.

Stunningly beautiful pastoral setting. Bring a picnic lunch, relax, and enjoy the view with a bottle or a reasonably priced flight of wines. Listen to the birds and the gentle burbling of the fountain. Wear sneakers or heels, tie or tee shirt. I was nonplussed when I asked for the cheese plate and was handed a lowbrow clamshell package, but its contents turned out to be exactly the right choice. This isn't a fancy restaurant that also serves wine--it's a vineyard. The cheeses, fruits, and nuts paired nicely with different wines in the flight. One complaint, though...I'm ruined for any other winery from now on. Never gonna top this experience.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place! Im so glad we decided to stop here on our drive down the coast. Friendly staff, stunning landscape, and even better wine. I cant wait to come back here!!

The wine is great and if you are looking for those great photo ops this is the place!

I'm not a wine person so please take this review for what it's worth. My wife and I each had a 5-flight tasting of wine. We brought a lunch and enjoyed it on the shaded balcony overlooking the vineyard. The view was ok.

There wines are so well made at reasonable prices. The location and scenery is superb. Grad sandwich at Los Olivos, drive over the hill, buy a bottle of their wonderful wine, grab a table on the oak tree sheltered deck and view the hills from across the road and let the world slip by.

First of all can I say that Stephanie, who works at this winery was amazing. She rolled out the red carpet for our wine tour group of doctors and it was an unforgettable experience. The winery was recommended to us by Andrew Murray of Andrew Murray vineyards and he said this is one of the best wineries in the entire region. The wines were amazing and it was an incredible day sitting on the patio gazing at the vineyards and drinking this incredible wine. The wines from Catalina Island were especially delicious. You can really taste the difference in the grapes that come from Catalina. I believe this is the only winery that has a vineyard on the island of Catalina so this is a rare treat. Again, my group of doctors had such an amazing time thanks to Stephanie. Stephanie was so helpful and informative and she poured us the most amazing selection of wines. The tasting room is really well decorated but the outdoor patio is really the best! Rusak winery, Andrew Murray vineyards and Foxen should be on your wine tour of this region!

I contacted Rusack after my grandparents (members there) lost their home in the Thomas fire. I was hoping they'd be willing to replace some of the bottles they just lost. They immediately got back to me and shipped 4 bottles for free! I wanted to publicly thank them for their kindness and willingness to help in such devastating times.

Very beautiful Winery. Currently $15 for a tasting of 5. Beautiful views in wonderful patio on a quiet Little Road. Good mixture of red and white and has small cheese plates and food to share and you can bring a picnic for their patio beautiful place to include on your wine tasting tour

I have a membership and they offer affordable options which is great! Their wines are great the staff has always been friendly to me. They have a small section for seating with dogs I just wish the entire outside area was dog friendly. The grounds are beautiful. I love visiting quicksilver ranch on my trips to Rusack as well. Take some snacks and have a bottle of wine it's a nice spot.

We really wanted to like this place as the ambience, location and view are stunning however, it does not make up for the lack of service one can expect to receive if you aren't white. 1.) We were charged before our tasting (which is not customary in a tasting room) while we watched as other white couples were not. 2.) The tasting rep told us he had to charge us up front because they "might get busy", "they were old and might forget" insuating that we would be dishonest and walk away without paying. 3.) Each flight the tasting reps hastily poured our glass and moved to the next person, not once taking the time to explain the varietals and tasting notes but instead would proceed to the next patron (again white) and would go into great depths about the vintage of the wine. 4.) The bathrooms were disgusting. Someone had urinated all over the restroom floors and walls and the smell was sickening. It was quite apparent it hadn't been cleaned all day. It was worst than a gas station bathroom. Needless to say we will not be patronizing this establishment again.
