Vincent is truly the best! From the moment he arrived, he was eager to help and did everything he could to fix my car using all the tools he had. When it became clear that we had to tow it to the garage，he didn’t hesitate and took care of everything. Even when the car's brakes were locked, he managed to carefully and professionally load it onto his truck without causing any damage.
What impressed me the most was his dedication. I had to leave the keys with him and tell him the designated garage, and by the time he got there, it was already late at night. I can’t even imagine how he managed to unload the car in the dark while making sure my keys and accessories were placed exactly as my mechanic required.
Vincent went above and beyond, and I truly can’t thank him enough. If you ever need towing assistance, he’s the number one guy to call!

I had a tow service arranged through my insurance for a flat tire, drove over a nail, and my car was parked in the driveway. I had the tower show up ask for my keys and say it would take 5 minutes, I stayed out of sight and heard him pulling out and was driving on the flat. I asked him to stop and if he could put air in the tire prior to driving it and he pulled a full swing attitude on me, that it wasnt the first time he had done a tow, that nothing was going to happen to the tire if he drove on it (it was completely flat) and that if I wanted the service or not. I stayed calm and asked him if he could please put air in the tire, which he did, and then continued to drive onto the tow bed. The fact that he was planning on driving out of my driveway and up the tow bed on a completely flat tire...beyond me. And the attitude was not necessary, I was not being rude, I was concerned. The tow got done but he honestly had me on the verge of tears with his abrasive response to my concerns. Would I call for another service or recommend them, heck no.

I had a scary battery issue , losing power on the freeway with 2 very panicked kids. Our insurance tagged Gils towing and we had an immediate call , and two follow ups to confirm arrival. Vincent came and was wonderful ; he took care of everything and gave me a ride to the garage. Couldn’t have asked for more !
Tow operator from Gil's Towing took a suspiciously long time to tow my car just 3 blocks. At the time, i didn't think much of it, but it was the only time that my keyring (with all the keys that I use) were out of my sight. Fast forward two weeks later and there were visible signs that someone(s) had entered my apartment unit. Only sign that someone had entered while I was away is the air purifier was turned off, which I never turn off. In hind sight, trusting the operator with my keys was my mistake. But I didn't think he would compromise the professional trust that should have been customary. The tow service was on 4/22/23 in Los Osos, CA.
I was taking my family to the beach. About 2 hours away from home and an hour away from the destination, our car broke down on the side of the highway! Vincent made it to us in 1/2 the time they said, and after looking at it, he said it was just a battery! Vincent gave us a jump and we went on our way. Best towing/vehicle service I have EVER received. 10/10 recommendation
I locked myself while my car was running. I called my insurance but they were taking forever and I just contacted Gils and they were really quick to respond. Vincent the driver got to me really fast very cool guy. I know who to call next time I need help.

My car had completely shut down on the highway I called Gil’s towing and vincente showed up on time and was extremely professional my car is very low and vincente was able to charge the car enough to put it into neutral he then used wood in order to not scratch the front of my car at all. This was the best towing service that I have ever used and I highly recommend it to anyone in need thank you again Vincente you could not have done a better job!
Vincent with Gil’s towing provided excellent service. My car was stuck with a dead battery in a two hour parking zone as the vacation town I was visiting was shutting down. Without Vincent’s quick service my car could have been impounded. Vincent delivered my car to the Ford dealership after hours with a picture proof of delivery with it ready for first of the line service the next morning! I had a breakdown in Pismo Beach on my way to Santa Barbara in the evening yesterday. I called just about every tow company in the area and most of them were not willing to tow me all the way to Santa Barbara. Gil's accepted the challenge and sent Mike to pick me and my car up. Alternator went out in my car. So I called my insurance they had GILS towing come out. I live in lompoc but Vincent was there quick. He also had my suburban loaded quickly and dropped it off at a mechanic shop for me. He is a very kind, hard working and very professional. I hope my insurance continues to call them for services. I lost my van key and it was parked in my car port at my condo complex. My insurance called Gil's Towing to take it to the dealer. Vincent showed up promptly, and after some assessment, began positioning the truck in the very tight space in front of the van. It took some effort, but he was able to load the van without any trouble. I was very impressed and thanked him profusely. I highly recommend this towing company.

We used Gil's Towing (Vincent specifically) twice when our car broke down on the side of the highway. The first time, Vincent towed us from the highway to outside the dealership, and the second time, from the street outside to inside the dealership. Vincent was efficient, professional, courteous, and helpful. We highly recommend their services.
My experience with Gil's towing was exceptional. I do not drive this area alot and got myself in a bind with side of the road mud. Short story, driver named Vincent showed up for the recovery project. It took longer than I expected but after a long while the tow expert had me moving along again. Needed a tow. Gil's was chosen by our Good Sam's service. Tow Truck arrived on site sooner than estimated. Tow truck was in good condition and the driver Ben was professional and courteous. My car is very low to the ground. Ben took extra care not to damage the vehicle through the whole loading and off loading process. I would definitely use Gil's towing in the future.
Poor service. Unfortunately my auto insurance contracts with Gil's so I did not have an option. Made the call for a tow at 9:30am through my insurance. Received a text 30 minutes later from Gil's, no ETA. Tried calling Gil's by phone, phone rang and rang, no answer, no voicemail option. On the 4th try, got though. Was assured someone would be there in 45 minutes. After an hour and a half, the driver told my insurance he was at my location, which he wasn't. Finally, 10 minutes later, he showed up, more than 2 hours after service call. He apologized for the delay, and expressed surprise that his boss did not dispatch another available driver. He stated there were other drivers, but he did not start work until 11am.
I can understand delays - as long as they are justified. But the dishonest reporting to my insurance and the extended delay shows neglect and unethical business practices.
There are other tow companies in the area. One stopped by my location asking if I needed assistance and offered me some bottled water. I wish my insurance contracted with them instead.
Vincent was very polite and honest. My car broke down in their busiest time of the week and day but they managed to get to me in the promised time line. He was very efficient and professional when it came to mounting my car.

Today was my first experience with tow service. I didn't know whom to call so I took a shot at Gil's Towing. First, their prices are exceptional, secondly, the customer service is very spot on, and third - the tow truck driver, Vicente, was wonderful to work with. He pays attention to customer needs and is diligent that the customer knows where their car is. Vicente called me from the VW dealership to let me know that he was just delivering my car to them.
