Smittys in Buellton need to pick up their game or hire more people that can be on the job. There has been way too many times where they are short staffed and send Lompoc drivers to help us out near Buellton which is not professional.

I've had many a nail-in-my-tire flat, but Armadno was hands down the best road side assistance ever. He was calming, offered advice, kept my kids laughing while we waited in the dark, personable, competent, and down right hard working.
Though a bit lost on directions, that’s mostly my fault. The guy, named Sergio iirc, was amazing. He towed me out of the side of the highway and to my home, was really friendly, and even helped jumpstart my dying battery when I tried to turn it on to pull into my driveway. He even noticed that the battery needed some care, so he cleaned it u0 a bit too! Sergio’s got absolutely AMAZING customer service! I’d rate more than 5 stars if I could.
Awful business practice, stealing people cars they know can't afford to get them out of there impound absolutely deplorably. They have no sympathy, they don't care all they want is your money. They will screw you over, and the sheriff assist them in there crime don't break down anywhere near Buellton didn't even give the 48hrs you have to get the vehicle off the road.
I found their service to be on time and the employee who towed my car knew what he was doing. The back wheels on my vehicle locked because the car was not able to start. He knew what to do to safely and without any damage to the car get it onto the flatbed and then once taken to my mechanic remove it. They also took my auto insurance which helped with the cost.
Had our car towed. Had to wait for the weekend to have things cleared up. We called asking how much it was and they charged over $600. Mind you it was a Friday evening and we were getting it Monday. They gave us the address which they wrote down, it was in the next city over, we showed up to the address and they gave us the wrong one. We showed up 10 mins later after finding it and they charged an extra $150!! We had proof they gave us the wrong address but they wouldn't budge and they were rude about it. Would never recommend. Full of crooks.
My daughters truck broke down at school. I asked her to call Smittys before 1pm realizing it would take a minimum of 30 minutes for them to arrive and she would be out if school at 2pm. They were still not there at 4pm. We eventually called another service that was there in 15 minutes. Not impressed!
A friend and I rented a zipcar this past weekend to visit friends in Lompoc. On Sunday morning turns out the battery was dead. Zipcar sent Walter from your team to get a jump. Walter was great! I noted we needed to stop and get gas and he was worried the jump may not hold long enough so volunteered to drive with us to a gas station and waited while we got gassed up and on our way. Above and beyond customer service! Thank you, Walter.
This towing company took advantage of us in a situation when we had to get a rental car towed. We had over $1,000 in wine we had collected over the weekend in the car, in a case, and they stole it from us. The case was totally gone by the time the rental car was returned to the rental agency, with one bottle opened and half drunk in the car along with trash. We are currently initiating pressing legal charges against this company/suing them - I would never, EVER recommend using this company.
