I will never visit this store again. The Assistant Manager, Veronica, was completely dishonest and unprofessional. She assured me over the phone that the store would honor a price match, but once I arrived, the experience was entirely different.
She kept me waiting for an unreasonable amount of time and seemed to prioritize customers who spoke Spanish, which felt unfair and disrespectful. When she finally spoke with me, she repeatedly interrupted our conversation to talk to other people.
In the end, she refused to honor the promised price match, instead quoting a price that was about 40% higher than the verified price at Advance Auto Parts, even after reviewing it. This kind of misleading behavior and poor customer service is unacceptable.
I have made over 30 recent purchases totaling thousands of dollars and still get treated like I'm nobody. I'm in the shop up to 3 times a week, you would think someone would know my name? They don't price match for me. If I have a question, most of the time they do not know the answer and rarely look it up. I shop there because I have no other place to go that is close to where I live. They never have the inexpensive part available even though my computer/phone says it's in stock and I almost always end up paying a lot more for something else that needs to be shipped. I keep my fingers crossed that they will get new management, or another auto parts store will open up so I can spend my money at a retailer that appreciates my business, remembers me, price matches as advertised, does not assume I'm a liar and make me prove every word I say, does not ignore me and help customers who entered the store after I did, and actually know something about cars/trucks.
I always like how easy it is to find what I need and get out. Staff has always been friendly, helpful, and professional. This is the place I would send anyone who needs something for their car, and not have to pay an arm and a leg!
We bought a battery from Costco and came to O’Reilly to buy the tools to install it. Douglas was SUPER helpful in finding the right tools and guiding us through the process. Both my husband and I were floored by his kindness and willingness to go above and beyond, it’s hard to find service people like him these days where everything is very transactional.
Came in to buy oil for a thirsty car, walked away super impressed by how courteous and professional the staff was this afternoon. Even as I left the guy answering the phone was super friendly sounding. Top notch, I was delighted and totally not expecting it.

Looking for a comedy of errors? This place is your stage! Our car battery was dying, and after confirming they'd help install it (as advertised), we arrived to hear they were "too busy"—with just three customers and two staff members. Busy doing what, you ask? Excellent question!
They don't deserve your hard-earned money. We got stranded because of them. Seriously, save yourself the drama and order online or go to AutoZone. If enough of us avoid this place, maybe they'll get the hint and improve—or become a great spot for ghost stories.
Plus, the location isn’t the safest, and their prices are steep. Save yourself the hassle and steer clear of this circus! Oh, and check out the other negative reviews—they're spot on!
Very convenient very conveniently placed almost always parking in and out kind of deal it does get busy once in awhile but not as bad as some so after all I would say O'Reilly's Auto parts over on Potrero is a quick easy fast spot to grab what you need for your vehicle or off-road vehicle or motorcycle or whatever you might have
The O'Reilly's at 16th Street and portrero with the staff of Thomas Roberto Amy Rooney Henry and other members have known over the years I've always been concise honest and helpful to a fault. They've been there through the worst times the most aggravating times and the most horrendous times of my life and I have to be honest I have not stopped working on one vehicle or another for the past four or five years now and they have always been steady Johnny on the spot so to say. Bravo to the crew at 16th Street for the dedication to their customers. I came from far away, it was officially stated that they close at nine in the evening, but upon arrival I saw that the guys had long since finished their work day
Went in to purchase a car battery. Employees didn't seem to care at all when a defective battery on the shelf leaked acid all over my hand. They wouldn't provide me anywhere to wash off the acid, and insisted that the closest place to do so was a fastfood place down the road. I ended up with chemical burns! They even replaced the battery on the shelf to assault the next unfortunate customer!
They had a sign on the door saying it opens at 11am instead of 7am. There was a lady with a couple of guys in the store around 10am and still they did not open it until 11am. They should communicate more to their customer if they decide to open late not following the standard store hours
It's my first time to come here because I needed a car battery and the gentleman Henry was really accommodating and recommended the only tools I needed to change it, and nothing else.
I was able to change it myself and I'm happy my car works again.
He went above and beyond and so if you come here for anything, ask for Mr. Henry. He'll definitely be able to help you out.
The young man was very helpful. They have a huge selection if wiper blades and usually the more expensive they are the better the quality and performance. I really like being able to key in your make and model and up comes a 3 to 5 character indicating your blade numbers
I've always had a very good experiences at this O'Reilly's Auto part locationthe staff has maintained good customer service and has been fairly knowledgeable about the things that I have been in there inquiring about they've always had my products in stock and have been very gracious to help even with returns on some occasions highly recommend this location

Pretty good selection of auto stuff in stock when you need it quickly. Not a lot for German cars, but you can't really expect that. The best thing about this store is the people who work there. They are always kind and helpful - even when you wish they wouldn't spend so much time with a newbie while you are waiting.
Seemed like the prices were slightly higher for some products but others were well priced. And, regardless, the service and helpfulness of the staff there made up for it.
We needed some details about some lubricants for a certain car model, which they looked up in their database and told us about.
They also gave us good advice about other products we were interested in and so a great productive trip.
Really friendly staff here, and also plenty of parking. I went in to buy a light and a scratch remover for my car, but unfortunately didn't have that in stock. However the staff was very helpful in finding a way for me to get it the next day. I'll come back here when I need more car cleaning or fixing gear. It's also open till 9 so that's a plus for San Francisco.
