For semi truck picking load I think overnight parking available. Enter and go to scale and turn off truck. Security guy awesome. He helps me lot. Dock little small but when I go for pick up 7am, all dock empty so easy to back up. After load leave door open set your Axel and go to same direction and stop before scale, per axel weight. Security guard came out and weight per axel. I'm 77000 Gross. 1 hour in and out. No washroom I guess. But I'm 100 percent sure you can park overnight and safe place. Open 6am but loading start 7am according to fork lift guy. Come through blue dot on pic

The drop off site can be a little confusing to get to, but the workers were very helpful in pointing out the right way. All I had to do was drive to the drop off location and offload the cardboard for free from my car. I didn’t see any places to recycle styrofoam or other packaging foam though

To the recycling centers social media manager. The information on Google maps versus the information on your website linked to Google maps does not match for instance it currently says that your recycling center is not open for buyback to the public is this true if so could you update on your update tab here on Google maps.

Out of the way, but worth a trip if you need to recycle a lot of cardboard. You got to drive to the way back of the place. My kids loved seeing all the big trucks.

Fairly abandoned space to walk our rescued reactive pitbull without other dogs or people around. Police vehicles maneuvers course and office close by.

This area has Bay Natives, a plant store. I love it and their set up which includes friendly chickens. There is public walking paths, it's lovely. There's a dog park too

I recently visited Recology's Recycle Central at Pier 96, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, guiding me through the entire recycling process. The facility was well-maintained and organized, making it easy to drop off my recyclables. I appreciate their commitment to environmental sustainability and would highly recommend this recycling center to everyone in the area.

Reject island for forklift workers who don't understand how to load recycled products or know weights being loaded and unloaded twice . Scales are broken and not working correct Why ? Because when I left I got weighed at a cat certified scale and all weights were off over 1000 lbs on all axles . Yeah get detention time and watch how the clowns load you . Direct them is a must with any outgoing recycled bales .

Wow! So NOT a tourist spot. Dangerous potholes. Funny it shows up here. I just delivered a truck to one of the industrial businesses out there. But ... it was a sunny and sparkling day to travel over the Bay Bridge to get there.

Easy in and out process to let us recycle our extra cardboard. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Moved to SFO this week. Had a million cardboard boxes to dispose of. Seemed like it would take forever to recycle them at the curb, so I researched other options. Called for info - the lady on the phone was super nice and helpful. She gave me detailed instructions on how to find the drop off location - definitely a little tricky to find. Got lucky and the truck in front of me was dropping off cardboard as well, so I just followed him after I got on property. It's a bit of a hike from Russian Hill but worth it to get rid of all the boxes. Would definitely do it again.

Just moved to the area and had a million cardboard boxes. Easy (and free!) to drop off cardboard and people there are very nice.

Free drop off of our cardboard that my hoarder dad kept for decades. Usually there’s a buy back program but due to Covid I wasn’t sure if they were doing it. Just drive to Pier 96, it gets very confusing once you’re actually in there so take your time and ask for directions well with the staff there. Once inside though, we just dropped off our card board on the floor and left. Quick and easy and all clutter free at our house now.

Super easy to dispose of cardboard. Drove right up, got directions from the friendly staff at the scales and chucked it into the big pile. Really easy in and out.

Nothing like a San Francisco recycle center to bring out all the nostalgia and romance of the city by the golden gate.

This address is used by a fraud crime group. They are advertising two fraud companies on this address: cherylmcdonaldllc.com and cherylmacdonaldllc.com

This location is great. The staff is great. Always polite and friendly. It is all drive up. You don't have to deal with waiting behind walk-ups. Most of the time folks have their things already separated, which makes things go a lot faster. However, they are taking cardboard only right now. No cans or bottles for now, due to Covid-19. Hopefully they will do cans and bottles again soon.

Been an off and on customer for 3 years. It's quite a distance, but the employees have always been pretty hospitable and accommodating. Just remember to bring your ID. It's a pretty hard sell to get anything back if you don't.

Been coming here for years. Great job and great people. But please update your hours or saturday, arrived today at 12 and was told it closes at 1145 when the site and sign at the gate say 1pm. Thank you.
Jul 06, 2019 -
The guy at the gate told us they close at 1145am and not 1pm as the website and sign out front indicate. I wouldn’t recommend this location as you seem to be at the mercy of the guy at the gate when it comes to how late they’ll be open. We wasted our whole morning.

GPS: Pier 96 - Buyback for aluminum and plastic close at 3:30 sharp - FYI cans are $1.80 per lbs not $2.80 --- I discovered this place a while back, love this place. Always feel safe when I'm driving pass by their driver with the bulldozer. Do yourself a favor and sort items out when you're collecting, cause if you did, it's a quick in and out. Bagged plastic bottle go on the weight, cans go to this machine. For those who want to sort items out on site, they provide bins for you to do so.

Where all of San Francisco's blue bin recycling is processed. Contact Recology about taking an interesting tour of their facility.

This is the BEST place to go to recycle your CRV items. No waiting ever, best kept secret. It's too far for those who walk so no rude people pushing, shoving or stealing your stuff (yes, that happened to me). They guys that work here are all nice.

Very nice place to take a long walk by the bay, some sandy areas to play, very nice pier to walk out to the water/bay, landscaped , clean, security, benches for a picknic, bathrooms, dog run, you can even go out on a sandy beach and put your feet in the water, great for dog walks, or a romantic walk or just a walk with a friend.

Fast in-n-out recycling, depending on weight you can even get paid. Workers are friendly and accommodating, just maybe hold your breath sometimes :)

Pier 96 only- fast, efficient system. In and out.. Thank you Recology. Should apply at Tunnel Ave. facility.

Not sure where the other 4 stars went. But you are located on an asphalt parking lot with hookups. Nothing special or 5 star about it. Pricing expensive but it's San Francisco.
