0 stars. These people illegally towed my car from a spot without signage that it was a tow away zone. Photos and videos prove there’s no signs. Still attempted to charge $750 to return the vehicle. Eventually talked them down to $420??? Police suggested small claims court. These people are criminals and should not be in business.
When I called them, a woman with a rude and unprofessional attitude answered the phone. I started by giving her my plate number, but she cut me off and snapped, “I don’t need your plate number, what do you need?” in a very disrespectful tone. I explained what I needed, and then she asked for my plate number — exactly what I tried to give her in the first place. How stupid. When I pointed out that she should’ve just listened instead of being difficult, she hung up on me. And this was early in the morning.
I don’t care if you’re having a bad day — because guess what? Me too.
I know this review probably won’t matter, since most cars they tow are from apartments they circle every day — I get it, business is business.
When I went to pick up my car, the process was quick. Just pay and go. Make sure to check your car thoroughly before leaving.
My van, a 1989 Chevy G30 Van got stuck in a ditch with the right wheel loddged into a concrete hole. I saw a Blue Water Tow Truck and waived him down. He spent a good 40 minutes pulling me out, using chains and carefull manuvering. It was extremely difficult, but he managed to pull my truck out. He then said NO CHARGE! Wow, my saviour was Manny. Blue Water Towing is the best.
This company towed my 2024 Honda Pilot AWD on a regular truck , but dragged my car out of the parking spot and left REAR TIRE drag marks on the street instead of putting the tires underneath the rear tires and PROPERLY TOW my car, because this company is very unprofessional and don’t like to be held accountable for any of their actions. And the customer service person is the upmost disrespectful person that kept hanging up on me when I would call, but claim she told me she told me she put me on hold, but would hang up and not answer my calls. If you put me on hold, why wouldn’t you answer my calls when I would call back after she would hang up on me.
0 STARS! The worst towing company. The employees are incredibly rude and unprofessional. They seem like they hate their job and are not knowledgable to answer any questions a customer may have. Management is incapable of running a proper business. They don’t communicate effectively. I called to ask a simple question, and the lady who answered was dismissive and rude. I emailed to management and received a response once, then never again. This towing company is not worth a call… support a different towing business!!
The guy towing a vehicle cursed me out for now reason. I was parked behind the vehicle he was gonna tow and I told him I was gonna move in a bit and he started cursing me out. Hope people don’t support this type of business…
Don’t ever use it. They lost my car keys after an accident and the guy who towed it works illegally there. They put a receipt with a Mario guy but said that he quit more than a year ago.

I just watched a shocking video posted to social media of a Blue Water Towing driver named Carlos trying to a haul away a vehicle with at least half a dozen dogs in it. This is shocking, predatory behavior by this company .
We were stuck with a flat tire inside Golden Gate Park at night called a couple of places and there prices were outrageous and minimum wate time was between 2-4 hours. Called Blue Water towing and they gave us an awesome price and they were 15 minutes away. Office clerk was very understanding and the driver was very respectful and fast. This team will always be my first choice and I would definitely recommend them. You heed not look any farther.
They have a sign outside that says call or knock since their doors are always locked. So we knocked and some lady walked up to the door. Refused to talk to us. Only made a cellphone sign with her hands basically trying to tell us to call. So I called, they said someone would be at the door shortly. After 10 minutes I get a call back saying that the manager will be back in 10 minutes to do my vehicle release. They should change their sign since it's wrong. They should also have a better set up than making customers sta outside of their closed doors for 20+ minutes twirling your thumbs.
The lesson is: Don't tow away vehicles who's license plates say "U.S. Government For Official Use Only", then tell the driver
1) That you don't have it.
2) Backpedal and admit that you do, but say they have to have a form "signed by the real owner" (!?!)
3) Blame the entire situation on the Daly City Police Department.

One of the staff members was friendly and patient while i gathered all my belongings from my car but he insisted i let him hold my keys while getting my items to ensure i don't try taking off with my car which is understandable. However, when I was finished they would not give me back my keys and said that they had to keep them. Then they kept trying to get me to give up my title because they said the fees would end up being too high to get the car back so I gave them the title and they tried charging me 350 for turning over the title and getting my belongings. I took my title back but they still would not give back my keys and I still don't know why they towed my car in the first place and they could not give me adaquate information. They stole my car and tried getting me to give up the title keys and pay them on top of it. THEY ARE THIEF'S.
Wonderful and fast service! Very affordable, too. Got quoted twice the amount for the same distance and vehicle type from Westlake Towing and Calderon Towing. Professional, efficient service. Truck came in about 15min to me at Lake Merced. Driver was very pleasant and friendly. It was pitch black dark at night and I was alone, a young female and felt very safe and at ease. Highly, highly recommend!
Love the guys here. They provide some the best service and accurate safe work I've seen. I would recommend them to my friends and family any day. Ask for Mario and get 5 start service.
Horrible service. Girl on the phone didn’t want to speak with me, only my insurance provider. Tow truck driver drove right past me and kept going. No one communicated with me ahead of time or to try to locate me. Lazy and unprofessional towing company
Person name Gary that quoted me was rude and tried to get more money from me. I was going to try them because they were closer to the disabled car & recommend by AAA. Now I will never use or do business with them. I got a tow company that was cheaper and better customer service. I won't even contact them or recommend them. I don't understand why AAA uses them??
I call for a tow ,in 30 minutes they show up they help me take my car to the body shop.The driver Mario was polite and he seem like he had a lot to experience on the job.
Called to get car towed in my personal spot which I pay for monthly with documents and the receptionists or what ever you want to call her refused to help and repeatedly hung up on me ...very rude ... told me I’m not helping you ... it could have been a big payday for Blue Water ...
Jonathan give me a tow and was very professional. He was very nice and treated our Acura like it was his own car. He made sure she was secure on the flatbed and was never is a hurry.
This place is vile, Mary at the front desk has no interest in taking responsibility for the actions of her company and the at least one of the drivers is incompetent, and here is the reason why. A vehicle that was designated By AAA to be dropped off was driven to the location, due to the confusion of the driver, the vehicle was not dropped of. There are three legitimate businesses in this complex, large income business that have vehicles dropped off almost daily. Despite this, it was determined that the location looked abandoned and there was no mailbox....despite the fact that if you Google the address there is another tow truck pictured next to the existing mailbox. Because of this storage fees have to be paid...due to the incompetence of this company time and money has been lost.
On top of not being able to drop off a vehicle, they lied to AAA about the conditions of the shop. Many of the circumstances of this situations seem like a scam. This is not a good company. I would suggest a more reputable company to use.
When buisness is slow they illegally tow cars late night off residential parking and lie and say somebody called them. If your parked in your own complex and your not in any neighbors way, beware. Blue Water will tow late night claiming somone called.
Wow. My car got taken here bc it was involved in an accident. The Daly City police told me that I wouldn't be charged for the storage of the vehicle and when I picked up the car it cost almost 1,000 to get the car out. What a joke. Don't believe people even if it's there job.
