i would like to thank Kristopher for his help on replacing a battery for me, i recently had surgery which prevents me from lifting heavy items but this man here went above and beyond all while it was pouring rain outside, i had also purchased the battery at a different oreilly that refused to help me so i came to this location and every time i am always offered a helping hand here so i want to give my gratitude for his compassion and being such a huge help. Thank you guys!

I went to buy 2 quarts of motorcycle engine oil. The price on the shelf was $9.99 each, but when I checked out, I didn’t pay attention to the total and just left the store. After a few steps, I looked at the receipt and saw I was charged $28. I knew I’d been overcharged, so I went back. The employees were helpful, but they had to call the manager (messy-haired brunette guy with tattoos and a beard). He showed up with a very strange attitude, almost like it was my fault. He fixed the issue and refunded me the difference, but the way he handed me the receipt felt like he was saying, “Just get out of the store.” I don’t know, man people are weird. Even when it’s not your fault, they act like it is. Honestly, some people just aren’t fit for management. I bet he treats his coworkers the same way, acting like he owns the world. Calm down, man you’re just giving back money that was overcharged, you’re not saving the world. Sometimes you need to get up from your chair and handle a problem your employees can’t. That’s what being a manager is about.

I am giving a five star review for Hemandra. He was so thoughtful and kind. He helped me install my battery and took the time to walk me through the process in case I ever need to do it on my own. He even helped me pick out a battery that not only was good for my car but considered my long term goals as well with my vehicle. I am so impressed by him… now about his coworker Rey. I was absolutely slammed with a quote for the most expensive battery. Which doesn’t feel great as a woman who doesn’t know a lot about cars and in a difficult position where I had just broke down. I was very vocal about how my car just broke down and I didn’t know much about cars. I was lucky enough to have a stranger jump my car and I drove straight to Oreilly to get a new battery. I expressed I knew nothing about cars and needed help picking a battery. I was told they had five left and this was the only one for my car and if I need help installing I had to come in the morning. I understand the guy didn’t have tools, but I am so glad I didn’t purchase it and try to install it myself because he really attempted to slam me with the most expensive one when other options were available. He also then told me I could come in right when they opened at 7:30 to purchase it and get it installed. That wasn’t true because there was no one to watch the store for that to happen and I needed to wait for another employee to come in. Lucky enough Hemandra worked fast so I wasn’t late for work. But knowing this last night would have been really helpful. It also begs the question of how many other ladies came in needed help and were slammed by the late night crew or told to come back in the morning for help. Again I am so happy with my service this morning and give that guy 5 stars… but I won’t be going here to work with anyone else.

On August 6 I came in to this store to purchase a battery for my car. Alexis was very helpful. He checked on my car to be sure that I get the right battery and then he replaced my old with the new. What an excellent service! Thank you Alexis.

Had a burnt out headlamp and Carlos was so nice and helpful even when I didn't remember the year of the car. So friendly and professional. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Great Service and welcoming attitude is what I've experienced and observed on each of multiple visits from the time you walk in to the min your walking out... with or without a purchase. And they are very attentive during the visit, if they notice your kinda lost in attempting to find what your looking for or just want to see if your in need of any assistance- They're on top of it. More then I can say for so many other auto parts/ service places I've visited within the northern Cali area. Knowledge, Willing to assist, Courtesy is part of the every day practice here and that's the huge difference of a customer wanting to revisit or wanting to avoid a place. Much appreciate the promptness as well!

If you are lucky enough to get someone to answer the phone before a hundred rings, chances of them having actual parts in stock, are slim. I have yet to have any luck with not having to have something ordered. 0 for 4 at the moment. Guess I'm stupid for having tried so often.

Eirik (may have misspelled) was professional, polite and quite helpful when I needed to exchange an item for which I had no receipt from 2 months ago. I've been to a lot of auto parts stores, and he was a cut above the rest. Hats off to you and thanks!

Great place to buy your auto parts, tools, and other things. This O'reilly's store always has more auto parts and other relevant merchandise compared to most other auto part stores. What I like most is their friendly staff! They always notice and greet you, offer some help to meet your needs. I especially want to give kudos to Eirik, one of the Assistant Managers there. He handled my faulty part under warranty without a hassle and in the most satisfactory manner, in fact his customer interaction and proactive handling of my issue, positively exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend shopping here because of more parts options and excellent customer service.

Everything I needed for my vehicle is always in stock. I like how the workers are really friendly and greeted me as I entered. They're very helpful in finding what I need and even lent me tools to get the job done. Parking was great and spacious enough to accommodate a lot of cars. I like the social distancing and put the card machines on another desk for their customers. The place was really clean, organized, and well stocked.

Just the best customer service I've experience at any O'Reilly Auto partsl any auto parts store, any store in general. Eirik went out of his way to try to explain a problem with the lights in my car and help me fix it for cheap. Give me enough information so I can make my own decision and research it myself, just very helpful. And this was going there twiceon two separate occasions once with two screaming kids!

Always treat me good. They don’t treat me like an unknowing women like their competitors have in the past. I always take my business to O’Reilys. Refuse to go anywhere else. I like their rewards program too.

Did not fine the air filter for my vehicle. Had to choose an higher cost alternative. Access from South of El Camino Real to store is difficult as no u-turns are allowed so a left has to be made westbound onto 25th Avenue to the next intersection where a left turn southbound to a narrow street the feeds into the auto store surface parking lot. The parking lot is small and lot is also used for cars awaiting repairs or pick up so parking may not be available during busy times. If this is the case exit lot to El Camino Real and park along the curb adjacent to store. One handicap space is available on lot. Service is good, friendly and done with a smile

Highly recommend this location. Came in with a huge moving truck and a nearly flat tire. They helped me buy an air filler, tire pressure guage and tire repair kit, then loaned me the tools to repair my own tire. It was a truck tire and they were not equipped to handle that, but I was taking a load of relief supplies to the Chico/Paradise fire victims with 50 volunteers and I had to get that tire fixed. Since I was a mechanic and equipped to fix my own tire using their borrowed tools, they were open to the rare/unusual request knowing my situation. Kudo's and thanks to O'Reilly for stepping up and helping us get back on the road quickly as we were reaching out to help those in need. Recommend this location and crew .....

In a world with, y'know, "The Internet," being super passive-aggressive and making someone wait over 12 minutes when they ask to find an (ez) item is, maybe, I dunno, a really bad idea? Also, I was literally told the item "doesn't exist." and for sure *they* wouldn't have it, & then I found it pretty easily on the shelf. Overpriced. Omw to a competitor down the road to buy that (and the 2 other items) I came here to quickly get and go!

Service level at the San Mateo store was poor. Parts stock level was marginal and I immediately noticed that the parts that I was looking for were about 10 to 15% more expensive than other car parts stores in the same area. For now this store will remain last on my list for my next automotive parts purchase.

I'm the kind of guy that doesn't know much about cars or what I was even supposed to be getting at the store. Worked with a guy named Andrew who gave me some of the best customer service I've ever experienced in my life, whether at a car place or a restaurant. He came right out to my car, helped me figure out what I needed, and even refunded and replaced an item I had bought that was just the wrong item. I don't know about anyone else at that store, but if good customer service and help with your car is what you need. Go to this O'Reilly's in the evening and ask for Andrew.

Pretty typical auto parts store. If you know what you're after it's okay, but checkout/counter service is very hit-or-miss depending on the staff that day. Parking is also limited due to sharing a lot with Wheel Works.

I love coming here. It used to be Kraegen's, but I feel like it's the same good customer service I used to receive. Everyone is very helpful and this beats purchasing things online. You get that human interaction and you get answers instantly rather than searching it for hours online.

This five stars is for Dino. I was there 5 min before they close. I bought my stuff and I wanted a Cigarette fuse but I did not know what the fuse shape or amp! So i did not buy and when I went out I met Dino outside as he was about to leave. He asked me if I bought the fuse I told him I didn't know which one. He went into my car and found the bad fuse and replaced it with the spare one. Now it works. I asked him how much I owes he said a smile!! Unbelievable guy! Thank you Dino

It's close to my house... I have a couple of vintage mid-sixties cars and most of the help only know whatever 'the computer' tells them, as they don't have any practical knowledge. When I took my 1 yr old, $200 + Optima deep cell battery for my boat into the store for a 'freshen up' charge at the beginning of the boating season and they mistakenly sent it off with a load of bad batteries, it was replaced with a brand new $200+ battery without any questions... I went into the store yesterday for a replacement brake light bulb for my pickup truck - which uses the most common size bulb of any bulb... They were out of stock of this item. Frustrating at times...

Stopped by to buy light bulbs for my car's tail lights. Store is well-stocked. Staff was cold (no customary "Hi. Can help you find something?"), pretty much self-service. Paid at the register. No acknowledgement. Purely just a transaction. Wheel Works is attached to O'Reilly and share the same parking lot.

Total jerks. I've been in there more than a few times, only because it's conveniant, but I ALWAYS get attitude from these guys that work there. They're rude, never say hello, or thanks, just a bunch a sad workers, and the last time I was in there, a product was labelled one price, but they charged me a higher price, and when I mentioned it to the salesperson, he told me with a caveman grunt. "that's the price!" Don't waste your time and money with these losers.
