I have been coming to Best Buy, and this particular time to buy a new phone and i came across India in the mobile department . She was so sweet and greeted me, i had no idea what to buy and India gave me the the best recommendation. I will be back because of the great customer service i recieved!

We ordered a microwave via Best buy com to ship to San Carlos store. Order says pick up Sunday 10/19. Ordered it and on Sunday 10/19 at 15:14 the order still shows in transit. Store manager help us and says the item is in transit and he has no idea when it will be delivered also calling the Best buy online has error. Don't ever order from Best buy again just get to Best buy play with the item then order from Amazon.

Great experience at this best buy for a preorder pickup. It was for a popular game so there was quite the line for preorders when we entered, but there were about 8 employees dedicated to the preorder pickup line, so we were in and out in 5 minutes.

Really poor service. The staff here were really dismissive. The first person I spoke with at the counter was rude and dismissive, gave me the wrong information, and didn’t bother to follow up. Then another told me to wait for the manager, then disappeared. I stood there for 10 minutes before tracking the staff down myself, only to get a half-hearted response. Terrible customer service

A huge thank you to JUNIOR for his incredible assistance last week. I came in for a price match on a recent Apple Watch purchase, which seemed impossible due to a complex technical hurdles. Despite the significant obstacles, Junior didn't give up. His persistence and problem-solving skills were truly impressive. He found a way to make it happen, turning what felt like a dead end into a successful resolution. He is a prime example of outstanding customer service.

I actually went to Best Buy to recycle an old vacuum cleaner that was no longer working. The staff was very courteous, helpful and friendly. I previously bought my Android phone there and received similar excellent customer service.

I was sold a 1000$ TV with a broken screen. On trying to return it I was denied. Absolutely terrible service. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Came in to buy a smartphone. Was hoping for a helpful rep to help me decide between 2 brands I had narrowed down. There was one guy (had a European accent) there who told me he's a Samsung rep and can't help with information about the phones I was looking to buy - but gave me sarcastic, snarky replies to my questions. It's fine that you can't help me, but at least direct me to someone who can ?! I bought a phone but walked out feeling very disrespected, will think twice about going again.

Lots of changes going on at Best Buy. Several stores are upgrading the look. I was in Best Buy recently and I have never seen one so busy in the least 10 yrs. It’s nice to be able to go and test product and see it and feel it.

Today I went to change a defective Oura ring purchased in December 2024 for $381. They were spectacularly unhelpful since I had omitted to buy an expensive protection policy at purchase. Return in 15 days. No we do not return it on your behalf to Oura. This is my last ever purchase at Best Buy. Costco or Amazon next time. No wonder they have not been doing well of late. They are a second rate retailer if you have problems.

I was looking for a gaming headset and a guy named Ben (at the San Carlos location) came up to me asking if I needed help and helped me immediately. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Also gave me a few laughs. I was able to find something suitable for me and he gave his honest opinions on things which I absolutely loved. I’d rather talk to someone who tells me what they’ve tried and what they like rather than someone who is just doing it to get a sale. I just wanted people to know that Ben is the GOAT! Thank you!!

This place is just nearby to where my family lives. So I can pop anytime and if you know what you are looking for the offers can be very good. I have found some of the staff to be pretty knowledgeable. I bought a Chromebook recently that came without a charger and it was a really good price that any online retailer would not have matched.

Do not buy appliances from this place… I bought a stackable washer dryer unit in person and asked them to have it stacked… they came out and not only did they not stack it but told me the stacking kit was not included in the order… they came out a couple days later to “drop off the stacking kit” and told me they wouldn’t assemble because they did not have time. Horrible service, overpriced everything, takes 3 appointments to install a simple washer dryer. Will never do business with best buy again.

I called this location yesterday (6/10/2025) to inquire about the availability of a Nintendo Switch 2 console. Now I FULLY understand that the Switch 2 is a HIGHLY sought-after product currently, so the availability of said product once I actually get to the store is not guaranteed. I also understand that the likelihood pf finding a store carrying a Switch2 right now is basically 0 - but I am still trying, because it's a gift for my wife's birthday. But the associate I spoke with over the phone specifically told me that "They were not able to tell me whether or not they had stock until I PHYSICALLY entered the store". This is unacceptable - and a complete waste of customer's time. If you don't have it in stock, just tell me you don't! I took time out of my day to drive to the store and the moment I walked in I saw a sign at the front that said "SWITCH 2 - OUT OF STOCK". I didn't even need to ask another associate. So what happened? Well, I turned around and left - and Best Buy got 0 business from me. Now if that Associate had told me that they had no consoles in stock, I'd have bene happy with that. If the associate had told me that they are currently in the process of acquiring more stock but cannot guarantee that any consoles would be available by the time I physically visit the store - that also makes sense. But to tell me to gamble my time because "they cannot tell customers whether or not a certain item is in stock until physically present"? No. That is not okay.

They’ve truly mastered curbside pickup. I pull in, and within a minute, someone’s already bringing out my order. I can barely get through half a cigarette before they arrive—which leads me to this life hack: park, light up, enjoy a few drags, then check in. You’ll hit the timing just right. Shopping inside the store, though, can feel a bit hit-or-miss. Staff are friendly, but finding the right person for your question isn’t always easy. I once came in for a projector, but the projector guy wasn’t in that day. That said, for curbside pickup? These folks run it like clockwork.

This store needs professional carpet cleaning. Almost step on dog feces. Multiple employees just walk past it. No signs, at least to warn people to be careful. I can't imagine how staff is able to work in a place that smells like a dog shelter. It just smells bad inside compared to other bestbuys.

This location is very close to s lot of businesses and restaurants and off various main roads. Easy to find and accessibility was great. The inside is clean and organized. The customer service was great and I found everything I needed while also discovering and trying out other electronics. My favorite thing about Best Buy is their price matching policy, so you always end up getting the best deal possible while getting it from a reputable store.

I was particularly impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. I had some questions about a new laptop and the sales associate I spoke with was incredibly knowledgeable and patient. They took the time to explain the different features and helped me find the best option for my needs. The checkout process was quick and efficient, and I was very satisfied with my purchase. I have been working with Rosendo at the Magnolia department for the last two years as we have been remodeling our home. I don’t recommend you purchase from this store. I bought a tv and within 3 months it was broken shows a black and white fuzzy screen no picture at all. Who would think that I can’t use my tv after only 3 months this is insane. It’s the brand Insignia F 30 series. It’s been such a hassle getting a proper response. I wish I had purchased the warranty through Best Buy but even after only having it for less than 6 months no one offered me my money back. I was told someone would come out that I needed to go through the manufacturer. This is the worst purchase I’ve experienced. I was better off going through a different store with better customer service. This is what I get to watch for spending over $300 dollars

My recent experience at the Best Buy store on Industrial Rd in San Carlos 1127 Industrial Rd, San Carlos, CA 94070 was an absolute nightmare. Not only was the service abysmal, but one of the sales associates who wears glasses had the audacity to use profanity towards customers! It's like they were auditioning for a role in a reality TV show about terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being verbally abused while shopping for electronics.

Buy online and pick up within an hour. It worked quite well. Out front there's a sign which redirects to the pick up area, which is right next to the Freeway (North). All you need is the pick up email and your DL. A quick scan, and they're back in 60 seconds with your product (for me, it was a microwave). Five stars of quick service. NOTE: They should put in a ramp at the curb for larger products that need a cart.

Best Buy has a great selection of Dyson products. I purchased a Animal V8 for $349 and this was one the best choices I made in a long time. I chose the 6 month payment option. I also walked around the store and I give thumbs up to the Best Buy drone selection.

Did you know these guys are Sodastream retailers? Neither did I. Popped in here to exchange some canisters and ended up picking up a few things for my kids. Small selection of toys/Legos. Electronic retail isn't what it used to be but you can get quality stuff here. LG OLEDs and soundbars with the latest Dolby features. Samsung soundbars with Dolby Atmos. Junk food at the impulse buy locations. Staff very helpful when approached.
