If I can I would give zero stars. Called for simple jump start was quoted 100 something and driver shows up after 3 hours but was told 45 minutes on the phone. Then I rejected his service when he demanded $400 to jump start my truck. Company lyes about arrival time and price. After I rejected their service driver decided to block my truck and sit there. As a customer we can always reject service if we don’t want to. Tow truck had different name than business name.
Bruce Towing went above and beyond when I locked my keys in the car. They showed up quickly, within 25 minutes got the door open in minutes, and were friendly throughout. I really appreciated the professional attitude and fair pricing. Definitely keeping their number saved for the future
Had locked my keys inside my car. I called and was quoted $80. When a random guy arrived in a Kia he tried to charge me $180. He ended up doing it for the $80 after his attempt to scam me didn’t work.

Don’t believe the good reviews and call them. You would get SCAMMED!!!! I got a flat tire Wednesday morning and needed to tow to a local tire center. I called them and was quoted ~$100. The lady told me it would be $49 for the service call and $35-55 for tow under 5 miles. My tow was less than 1 mile. I was eventually charged $219, $134+$85 for a doly. The tow truck driver told me he had to use the doly because my rear tire is flat. The call lady knowing full well it’s my rear tire, did not mention a thing of the doly. I also had to give my credit card info over the phone bc the tow driver could not get his digital card reader to work.
My car battery died on me when I was in the Hillside neighborhood, so I called this company. The driver arrived quickly and was very knowledgeable. He jump-started my car and made sure everything was working fine before he left.
The only improvement I’d suggest is better communication from the dispatcher. I didn't get a clear ETA, which made me a bit anxious. But overall, the service was excellent and I’d definitely call them again.

I had an accident near Westmoor Park in Daly City and my car needed to be towed. I called these guys and they were fantastic! The driver was very understanding and handled my car with great care. He even helped me sort out the insurance details.
The only small issue was that they took a bit longer to arrive than I hoped. But considering the excellent service, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again if I ever need a tow.
No truck came.I ordered a truck in the brake down lane with my daughter they said 45 minutes after that time elapsed I called back to they said 20 more minutes after that. They I called again and they said it was canceled. The actual towing company had no idea. No texts. No communication.Call a towing service directly. These guys are useless middlemen.

Seen that their google page had 4 stars and was in need of a quick tow from San Bruno to Santa Clara for my non operating vehicle. First they asked for for a credit card for a cancellation deposit. Which all the companies I’ve dealt with never asked me for this so I thought it was weird. The lady quoted me 350$ and 80$ if “special equipment” was needed. So 420$ MAX. When I got there there the bill was 650$??? Outrageous. I will be lawyering up to see what I can do about this as well. When I asked why the price was so different from the quote he said oh well it’s a 30 mile trip. Mid you I’ve had cars transported cars across multiple states for 2000$ And an average tow from San Francisco to San Jose is only 200-250$
Victor was great. Very nice and professional. This service was easy and convenient. I recommend using this towing company. Price for towing was $195 per hour. 2hrs minimum. Was able to use my credit card. We’re grateful for their towing service being available to us.
This town company is garbage. They make you sign a liability paper before they do any work because they are incompetent. They damaged my entire vehicle. Popped the tires left a dent on the side broke transmission
Would not recommend. Driver was so late (the first time) that the shop was closed. So I pushed back to the following day, and the driver was about 30 minutes late again. Was quoted as $100-$150 and charged $250. Tow was only a few blocks, half a mile at most.
I called to request a flatbed tow truck. I was told it would take forty minutes for a tow truck to arrive. I paid for it. An hour and a half later a tow truck showed up. Not a flatbed. I called the company to complain. They told me the flatbed was near by and arrived shortly. Four hours later the flatbed finally arrived bed. No communication. Unacceptable service. Wouldn’t use them again.

The driver said he'd be there in 40 minutes but took 1 hour and 40 minutes without notifying me of the delay. He charged the maximum quoted price for a jump start ($134 which is $40 more than base) even though there was no extra work - the jump start took 3 minutes.
The cherry on top is that he didn't replace the battery cap at the end.

I needed to get my car towed and when the tow truck came, Martin was the technician and was great. By the time he came, we got my car working. But he made sure that we were okay before leaving, but he was great. I'm lucky that Martin was the technician to help us out. He had an up beat personality and very friendly! Thank you again Martin!
Guy was really nice. He arrived in 20 minuets! He also recharged my car so it could drive up on to the tow ramp! He gave me a very good deal as well. I would recommend Bruce Towing if your in a pinch and need services right away! ?
