They were extremely helpful and accommodating. Shawn had so much patience for me even though I was late and lost some of the paperwork. Definitely recommend bringing your here for BAR OR CAP programs. They are amazing
Retired an old vehicle here through the BAR program. The process was seamless, I called 1 week in advanced to make an appointment and they were very friendly and professional. I brought my car in at my scheduled time and the entire process took only 20 minutes. They were even kind enough to let us stay in the car until our Uber arrived.
Though may not look appropriate, it is an efficiently run business. Was there to have car checked out for a state program and again to deliver the car for destruction. Both times were good. ymmv depending on how many are submitting their cars.
Professional, efficient, and accommodating. I retired one of my vehicles there today. Scheduled an appointment with Sean on the phone the day before. Everything was done in 20 minutes onsite.
The guys at Infinity Auto Salvage we're so patient with me on 2/28/23. I'm handicapped on crutches and my old 1997 RAV4 had a really bad clutch. Basically I only had two reliable gears first and fifth, you do the math on how I managed to drive her for 2 years. But anyway, they let me grieve. They let me sit in my car to fill out the forms. We talked about the good old days riding horses before I was disabled, (which is the reason why I am disabled.) Now I'm not saying that they're always going to be like that. It was just a miserable cold and drizzly rainy morning, and they happened to have no other appointments. But hey, isn't a proper funeral / wake supposed to be on a rainy day?
Mike is the best! Retired a car through CAP BAR program and there was not wait - just walked in on a Saturday. He is very friendly and helpful. We were out of there in no time. Wrote a check on the spot. Took it to Pick n Pull in San Jose yesterday - they were awful. Rude, filthy place, not helpful at all. Take your car to Mike @ Infinity. You'll be glad you did!
Good service, very time oriented and fast pace, make sure your paperwork is complete for auto retirement. Car parts are available too. Ask any question. Show up on appointment or call to cancel if there is a problem. Infinity has good service and reliable.
Old Mike is a bit officious & regimented, but warms up to you once you get to know him. He and his crew will serve you well & take care of you auto dismantling needs in a prompt and efficient manner. I brought my old truck there for CA State BAR program. He cut me a $1k check no hassles (just make sure your paperwork is in order. The requirements are on your BAR Eligibility letter). Also, many courteous Uber / Lyft drivers in the area to pick you up & take you home after business at Infinity has been completed. :)
Came in for a BAR car retirement program. On Saturdays, it is first come, first serve. Overall process only took 45min. Mike was super helpful and quirky in a good way.
I called in the morning to verify if this location accepts CAP vehicles because my friend is planning to retire a vehicle and he speaks moderate English and since I was a good friend, I was the translator. My friend started the call and when the customer service agent answered, he then passes the phone over to me. The customer service agent clearly stated, "Do you have a brain problem? Speak up." This is truly unprofessional and clearly the agent needs to be more educated. This is my first experience with them and I highly do not recommend this place to anyone planning to retire their CAP vehicle in the Bay Area. If you are retiring a vehicle from the CAP Program, I recommend Push & Pull in the Bay Area. Much better customer service experience and no appointments needed.
Over the phone Mike Maybe a little rough but in person he's just as nice as can be very helpful and very funny nice guy in a great place to take your car if you need to get rid of it for the right price to
Whomever wrote these one star negative reviews certainly doesn't know this place. Mike is the kindest, fairest auto dismantler I've ever met. Only guy left in San Mateo Co. I've been going there for almost 40 years and bought parts for countless cars. If something is available he's on it. If he doesn't have it he'll tell you where you might find it sharing the parts line info. Plus he'll tell you if you're buying the wrong part!
The guy who answered the phone here was a total jerk. I called and asked if he had a door panel for an Infinity Q45 and his reply before I even had a chance to tell him the year of my car was "I never had one of those cars before " and i replied what ? And he stated again "I never had one of those cars before" And then he just hangs up the phone on me. So I wont ever be calling this place for any other part i need since thats how they treat people.
