We looked online for the right price and came upon Century Auto. I was hesitant at first because of the bad rap smaller dealers get but they complete changed our minds. Du was who mostly helped my wife and I through this process. Du was kind and easy to talk to. He was straightforward and honest though out the buying process. My wife and I had been shopping for particular model of a 2-3 year old Hyundai Kona EV for the last couple of months with mixed results of slow communications, cars sold while we were waiting, unexpected high milage, poor quality interiors or other issues. With some trepidation we drove over to Century Auto in Daly City. What a breath of fresh air when we met with Manny and found the perfect vehicle for our needs at a decent price. The location was surprisingly easy to find, with available street parking and also quite near to the Colma BART station. Setting up a test drive was efficient and simple. The buying process was a breeze, no negotiation, just efficient and friendly, pay and drive away! The entire purchasing process was less than 30 minutes!
We did check out a number of viable options before Century, including shipping from out of state or flying to a dealer but we really do not want to buy sight unseen or drive back in an untested car a few hundred miles. Some of the main brand dealers we visited were generally nice enough, but had limited availability, higher prices and customer reviews suggesting rather high pressure sales tactics and lengthy buying processes. When talking to places like Car Max, their expected sales process time was 90 minutes to two hours - so 30 minutes in comparison at Century is a delight!
When we are in the market for another car we would not hesitate to call Manny, Scott or Vladimir at Century Auto.

I bought an EV as-is. They charged it up for me, washed it, had it detailed, and helped to fill a chip in the windshield for free! Manny called Audi to get help fixing the rear HVAC after seeing an issue during the test drive. Was fixed in a couple days! The buying process was pretty smooth!
Couple things people should know:
a. They don't negotiate on price.
b. No hidden dealer fees. I paid for the car, taxes, registration fees, and that's it.
c. Due to some overnight thieves stealing their cars in the past, they typically don't do money down to call dibs on a car.

I was astonished by my experience buying a car at Century Auto. It was a pleasure to work with the team there. I got a great deal on a fantastic car, *and without* the usual torture that car dealerships usually put you through (especially when you're an older woman). I've already told friends/family that this is *the* place to buy a car.
I assumed the often-true stereotypes of manipulative car salesmen (especially towards older women) would be doubly true at used car dealerships so I only called Century Auto for a comparison on the car I wanted. Well, the guys at the brand dealerships gave me the usual treatment - alternately over-attentive, dismissive, prevaricating (What can we do to get you into this car today?") while the Century Auto guys were straight-shooting professionals.
I will always buy from Century Auto now.
Scott and Manny were great. Easy visit without the usual high-pressure tactics. I got a great car at a great price. They were also helpful when I followed up a few days later with a technical issue. Best used car buying experience in my 30 years of driving.
Century Auto is amazing. I highly recommend! My husband and I knew what car we wanted and we saw online that Century had that exact car on the lot (a 2022 Chevy Bolt with the 2LT trim and not over-the-top mileage). So we made an appointment. Vlad was super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. After a test drive, we decided to buy the car and Vlad made the process super simple and fast. The exact opposite of our experience at a Chevy dealership when we bought our hybrid a while back. Those guys made us wait for hours and then tried to sell us all kinds of extended warranties. Buying my 2023 Tesla Model X from Scott was easily the best transaction of my life.
He gave me a good price on my trade in, priced the car I wanted fairly, and didn't have any weird add on fees like $2000 paint protection or a $5000 extended warranty. The other cars on their lot looked to be of high quality. Manny and Liam were also excellent members of his team. I drove 4.5 hours to Daly City to buy this car; I would absolutely do it again to get one from him. Definitely an A+ from this teacher!!

If you buy a used car, this is the only dealer you should ever go to. I looked at Century Auto website, found the car i love on Friday. Filled out my pre credit approval application. Showing up on Saturday morning, met Scott (he is the man), filled out the credit application. Within 20 mins, Scott told me the monthly payment amount, and i agreed. He told me to go home and he will send documents to signed by emailing me and my wife in a couple hours. Exactly a couple hours, i got email and call from Scott to tell me to sign the document. In half an hour, i got all my document signed while i was at the Water Park with my friends. Sunday, we came picking up the car. The Tesla was ready and even with 90% charged. I bought a used Tesla before from a different dealer, and they left me with 10% charge while i need to commute back to house in 1 hour 30. Luckily, Tesla gave me free charge when your car is not registered with your name yet. My wife told me that this is the first time ever that buying a car is so fast, and easy without all the hiding fee and add on that you had no idea. Thank Century Auto Credit, Scott and everyone. I got a perfect 2022 Model Y Performance for a steal price. Century Auto Credit won my business, i will come back for more.
