Sold me a battery and upon installing the next morning I find out that the vehicle manufacturer does not recommend installing the lead acid battery I was sold because push to start cars require an agm battery. Contacted the owner and we agreed on terms to return the battery. Now he is no longer responding to my calls or texts. There when you want to give him business but dishonest as a person.

I just wanted to say how grateful I am for this company. I was driving from work to pick up my sister when my tired popped on the freeway. I was on the side of the road not knowing who I could call for help because it was almost 6pm (and most Towing companies close at that time). Carlo helped me before so I called him to see if he could help. He was just getting off for the night, but still drove to get me to the nearest tire shop to get a tire replacement. He took me to Moe’s Tire Shop of which I’m super grateful. In such short notice, He arrived in less than 30mins after calling him. I don’t think anyone is as quick to respond as he did. I was able to get my car back in less than an hour because of his help and got home safely. Thank you Uncle Los 10/10 would definitely recommend.
Carlos is a true master of his craft. He has a cool Mercedes Benz AMG flatbed’s truck a rarity within itself. He showed up in a quickness that roadside assistance just cannot provide. I truly appreciate him.

So this review is a little delayed, but I just want to start off by saying that I never ever write reviews for anything even if I was given the best of service. I felt that this was the perfect opportunity to do so considering how much help I received. I was stranded in daily city with heavy rain, having trouble with my car turning on because of a part that needed replacing. Luckily, Calderon Tow and Auto was right around the corner and so I quickly called and immediately was helped. Carlos was an absolute saint at everything that he did to help me with my car. and beyond to make sure I was reassured and to made sure to give me all the information I needed to help me with my car issue. He was incredibly kind and understanding, as well as very knowledgeable at what he does. He definitely knows what he doing and provided an outstanding job with the entire service, the prices are fair would totally come back and trust him with any further issues i have with my car. Carlos did an outstanding job in helping my wife out of a bad situation. My wife’s car broke down and was initially towed to the Nissan dealership for repairs. The repair cost was over $7000. It seemed very expensive at the time. I decided to have it towed to a different repair shop for a second opinion. I called Calderon towing and was glad I did. Carlos was very concerned about the estimate and volunteered to go to the Nissan shop and take a look for himself. He was alarmed at the cost of repair. His response was that the estimate was grossly exaggerated and was willing to help with his expertise to see what he could do. He went out of his way on his own time to gather the parts to repair it. He towed it to his own shop and repaired the vehicle for a fraction of the cost. He even changed the front brake pads as they were going. Carlos is the exception when it comes to trusting a mechanic. He did what he said he would do at an affordable price. He did not have to do any of this as he was only to tow the car. He was courteous, professional, caring and emphatic with our situation. He went above and beyond to help us when the dealers repair shop wanted to stick it to us. Not only was he prompt, he was efficient and had the car running in a few days. Carlos is the”man” to go to for any towing needs or repairs that he’s able to do at his shop. He gives new meaning to “mechanic”. He can be trusted and will be honest and reasonable in his assessment of the situation. I can’t thank him enough. Give him a call for any automotive needs and tow needs.

My car battery died and Carlos came to my rescue. He showed up when he said he would. Then he went out of his way to fix my car— he even went to purchase a new battery for me!! As we were just starting a road trip, Carlos inspected the car to ensure it was travel safe and then he even followed up to see if it was operating correctly. I was so impressed with his services I would definitely recommend him!

great, super friendly customer service! … I called Calderon because of the good reviews and want to leave one also! They quoted me 300$ for the tow for my Mercedes Benz to the dealership, but when i described what the problem was , the man said he thought it could be fixed much cheaper right where it was , where it had broken down, and sure enough he got there real fast and fixed the problem ( electrical system which can be tricky with the modern computer systems in Mercedes-Benz)…..got it up and running for about half the price of the tow- very happy and would use again!!i think the mans name was Carlos- I definitely recommend Calderon Towing!!
I would give Carlos Calderon 10 starts rating if I could. Five stars does not justified what he did for my daughter’s car on Sunday evening. I discovered that my daughter’s car needed new rotors and pads on Sunday afternoon, the day before she has to take long drive back to school in San Diego. I called everywhere. None of the auto shops are open on Sunday. My good friend told me to call Carlos and I did. I explained the situation to him. He said it will be difficult to try to find parts on Sunday afternoon. He said he will try his best to find parts for my daughter. I got phone call back from him few hours later that he will have parts around 6 pm. He told me to bring the car to the shop around 7 pm. He did the brakes and rotors that evening. Since the car was on the lift, he went extra miles to check everything underneath the car, rear brakes, shocks, cv boots, exhaust system, gas line and so on. After, he checked the engine compartment for all the fluids to make sure her car is in perfect condition for long drive back to school. I was so glad he did. He discovered that serpentine belt had bad cracks on it. He was able to get the belt, and installed it before my daughter trip to San Diego. BTW, she made it back to school safely. Thank you for that, Carlos. You got yourself customer for life. FYI, he charged way cheaper than all the quotes I got from other shops on Yelp. Carlos is legit. Highly recommended. Carlos is not only a car doctor, he's a superhero. The man knows his stuff, and he is passionate about what he does. Our Honda Accord would crank but not start, and on short notice, Carlos came over and immediately diagnosed the issue, as well as inspected the rest of the car. He promptly fixed the battery and even provided a ride to the local shop to get a couple of quarts of motor oil since the engine levels were low. Now that's going way above and beyond. Plus the man has a gregarious personality, expert knowledge and is just an all-around good guy. Definitely highly recommended, as he completely saved the day!
Carlos was incredibly helpful. My car wasn’t starting even though my battery was new. He was able to give me instructions on different options on getting my car started. Even though I wasn’t able to get the car started myself he was able to show up to my location a few hours later and he got the car on and running immediately and didn’t have to get it towed to a mechanic. Highly recommend calling Calderon Tow and Auto if you need your car up and running or towed.
Uncle Carlos came through after I bought $600+ worth in new wires for my 55 t-bird after another guy told me I needed them. Then the guy never got back to me about installing them. Once Uncle Carlos got to work on my car it turned out I never needed new wires. He got the car tuned perfectly, fixed every wire issue I had and more. Felt like a new car.
My van stopped running while heading north on 280 just south of SF. Five lanes of mid day traffic speeding by and rocking my vehicle back and forth. I got Carlos on the phone, he made sure I was in a safe parked position and ok with the situation. He quickly found my van, got it loaded on his super nice Mercedes flat bed truck and we were out of there in less than 10 min of his arrival. Carlos is my hero, he changed my super bad situation into a good day.
Like many of us who care deeply about our automotives, I was skeptical to just call any towing service to transport my car. I did a bit of browsing before finding Calderon Tow and Auto. What impressed me off the bat was that this business had a Mercedes Benz flatbed (very rare). I proceeded to make a call and spoke with Carlos, the company owner. I told him my issue and before agreeing to come get my car, he advised me to try a few things to start up my vehicle (would not fire up whatsoever). Turns out my fuel pump gave out and had to transport my car. Carlos promised to arrive in 45 minutes, which ended up being only 20 minutes (very much appreciated). I quickly realized the benefits of using flatbeds as they protect your car's bumper and eradicate transmission damage. Carlos was beyond helpful, friendly, and professional. His pricing is very, very reasonable (do not cheap out on your car, it is WELL worth the funds spent).
