Mike , the guy picking up my car initially began counting out the agreed amount of $300 but then stopped, pocketed the money, and completed the paperwork. After finishing, he handed me a stack of money without counting it in front of me. so I immediately started to count it and seen that the amount he gave was only $200, not the $300 we had agreed upon. Mike said it was a mistake and explained that he had mixed up stacks of money, one for $200 and the other for $300. This explanation was unconvincing, as it's basic practice for a professional to count out the money to ensure the customer receives the correct amount especially if you know you have two different stacks of money in your pocket. This dude basically try to get over on me for $100 which is incredibly unprofessional. In business transactions you always must provide a clear and accurate exchange of funds. I wouldn’t recommend them, that’s dishonest and unprofessional conduct. California has a Vehicle Retirement Program, part of the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program (EFMP), they usually give up to $1,500. They do this to reduce emissions and improve air quality. I wish I would’ve known about this program before I called Mike. Look up the CARB website or call the EFMP hotline at 1-866-563-9234. You’ll get 3 to 4 times more money than what Mike is offering. Mike is probably using this program and after he strips your vehicle for anything valuable then he’ll just have this California program cash him out.
I contacted them for a service a week and was told that they would be able to do it on a certain day and time. The day comes and no one called or showed.. I called multiple times and even texted and not one person called back or even said they couldn't show up. Such a waste of time I even confirmed the day before just to make sure they were able to come and the day comes and no one showed up or called!!! Its unprofessional and it wasted my day just waiting for a no show! Wouldn't recommend they are not reliable!!!!
Pays better then most people in this type of busines.
