A friend of mine was unlicensed an got his car taken by pd now his car is partially registered due to it not passing smog but everyone knows they give you the little white paper with your name on it that goes in the window .why is golden state saying he needs a release form from pd NOT no you don't not to retrieve belongings no you don't well to keep it short the receptionist lady there told us we ain't getting shit unless we had a release form I've done this b4 an all you need is an id .I'll tell you what the problem is my friend works at flea market an trunk is full of merch an we're black from Stockton that's all
I expected a rude and shop mentality type of employee.I was very wrong Mr.Hill was as pleasant a person as I've ever met. I actually enjoyed the whole experience. He is every bosses hope and dreams.I couldn't give this outfit higher praise.
The owner was incredibly rude and argumentative, even when there was no reason for it. He acted like he was just staff and clearly didn’t want to be there. Although they close at 4:30pm, they expect you to arrive before 1pm. They operate with minimal staff, and after noon, you have to call to make an appointment. Be cautious, as they seem to look for any excuse to charge extra. Communication is very poor, and they only give you a 30-minute window to get your car out, including with a tow, and the tow must not be late. Timing it right is crucial. They charge $100/day and are closed on weekends.
These low lives canceled my tow because I had a ram 3500. NO CALL!!! Sat for 3 hours thinking they were on their way. Homeless people everywhere, stuck on the side of the road thinking they were coming!!!! I wish I could sue their low life company.
Horrible they were rude on the phone and then when trying to call again so I could get my cat wouldn’t pick up the phone. The price of storage was a lot just for 4 days.
Golden State towed my pick up on a CHP rotation call. Darrell did a great job. He even found my phone at the scene and put it in the cab with a few other things. He even helped my wife when we came back to look for it. The driver that delivered the truck to my house did a outstanding job of getting it off the flat bed. They all went above and beyond.
I was told the driver would be at my place at a specific time. So I expected that time frame because I needed my Miata towed to Tracy Mazda at a specific time in the morning.
The driver took his time getting to my place and I had to call to make sure if he was coming or not. The dispatcher who took my call said that the driver was putting gas and he should be at my place any minute.
I would have given it a 5 star rating if the driver got to my place at the promised time.
But it turned out that he was very nice as I sat in the passenger seat.
This company really came thru when I was stranded and desperate. Arrived in what seemed minutes and not the hours others said. Got me back on the road and save my entire evening. Jessica at the office was fantastic to deal with and Tony was my Hero. Thank you all at Golden State Towing !!!
Horrible customer service and the man that works there was very rude to me as I was speaking to him over the phone. I would recommend never using their services.
This place forever has my business. Tony is a stand-up guy (who is admittedly a little rough around the edges, but he's all about business so what do you expect?) who does all he can to get you what you need. He's towed my stolen motorcycle twice for me and was fast and easy to deal with both times. He jump started it for me the first time, and even rode it into my apartment unit the second time. This is a guy who knows how to take care of his customers, you just have to do your fair share and provide him with the information he needs in an efficient manner. I highly recommend Golden State Towing.
Horrible customer service!! I would not recommend this company based off of their lack of professionalism. I called to get some more information about an invoice I received about a car I previously owned that had been towed. The representative who answered the phone sounded like he wasn't even awake yet and was very short & rude! He actually hung up on me because I told him that there was no reason to be rude. I called back and of course no answer. I guess this company doesn't care about the impression they give. Very unprofessional! I own a business and if my employees were as rude as this representative was, they would be looking for another job. Also, the amount they are asking to reclaim the vehicle is ridiculous and over priced. I wanted to speak with somebody regarding that but they are not answering my calls. I feel sorry for you if you ever have to deal with this company.
Terrible service just had a tow truck driver half ass attempt to get it on the truck, doesnt even place the hooks or wood pieces for the ramp correctly. Then goes drop my car on his bed right on my bumper and breaks my bumper and goes to say its not his fault but my cars suspenion fault. He also completely denies that it was his fault and just leaves cussing me out. Very unproffesional. I hope karma gets you guys.
Fair prices, quick service and excellent customer service. One time even when they were booked back to back and knew it would take a while and didn't want to have me waiting in the heat. They used their connections to reach out to another company to take care of me. This place is great. Call them if you ever need a tow.
Super fast when everyone else was a 1.5-3 hr wait! We had our 10 month old in the car and they were here in 20 minutes! Polite and a salve on this new mommas heart
