Went to buy some metal I was waiting on line and this other guy shows up the woman there skip me saying that she wants to help the other guys first the guy told her I was there first and she insisted that she wants to help him first on a very rude way so I just walked out I will never come back there again!!
Do not use this business they robbed me for 20lbs worth of aluminum weight was 60lbs at home and they only paid for 39.5lbs I called them out on it and all they kept saying is that their scale gets certified every three months Which doesn’t mean anything when you’re lying about the weights the guy that dumped the aluminum didn’t want me near the scale he distracted me with the plastic and of course their scale doesn’t have a memory feature or the ability to send the weight to register they write down everything by hand and enter weights by hand at register will not be back to deal with these shady con artists

This is the second time that I loaded up the truck and drove there only to find them closed. GATE WAS LOCKED AT 4:15 or before.

If you are closed at a different time, then change your posted hours.
Or talk to your employees. They are leaving early.
I turned in metal and received no money for my items. I received $0.50 for my pallet. I have been there before and I did not receive payment for my copper. I do not trust this place, but it is only better than going to the dump.
Just called to get pricing on scrap metal and asked the guy to repeat himself only one time as the line got choppy and immediately snapped and was very rude. I'll happily take my business elsewhere.
My favorite, people here today were so helpful to assist this USN Vietnam Veteran. I actually waited for you all to open again, didn't want to use any other recycling business!
Very friendly and fast service however the place is so small that they had the gate closed to make people wait until there was enough space for another vehicle.
Just went in a few days ago and the guy said $15.80 and had me sign for $15.80 but handed me $13.80, then walked away and disappeared before I even realized he shorted me. Not a great experience for this being my second time. Won't give another chance.
Last time I was here it was great. But today they need to fire two people that worked today smoking dope. And I think I got ripped off. Never weighed the plastic or of the glass. Every other place I went to they weighed the glass and plastic. This place needs better management not tweakers
Pj & I took our cans in this morning. We were met by a young gentleman who was in an amazing space. Very cordial. A forklift driver chimed in. We took care of the cans, he gave me my money. Place was immaculate condition. Both guys were very cool. Did their job happily. They were very helpful with dumping the cans for me also. I totally recommend Tokay Recycling Center. It’s been 22 years and I won’t ever go to a different recycling center unless this place closes.

This place:
Only place in town that won't rip you off. Best price per pound and they won't cheat the weight like other places. Honest, friendly, and quick.
Everywhere else:
will rip you off by subtracting for the garbage cans they weigh your recycling in. If you pay attention the weight they subtract is more than the containers they use 9 times out of 10.
Answering machine says open 7 days a week & they're actually closed on Sunday. Seems fair & honest. Only place I trust to take my recycling & not rip me off. Parking lot could be a lot cleaner though.
