I had to post this place only because I had to visit and drop off this water heater. Years ago I used to drop off metal here that I never used. One time I had a boat trailer and I cut up then brought it down to this place and they gave me $35 for scrap metal. Another time I dropped off 200 pounds of mixed metal weights iron and other scrap that weren't separated they gave me less so it's best to separate your Metals in order to get the right price . This water heater was supposed to get picked up from those people who drive around picking up free scrap metal . He never showed up so now I'll dump my own stuff from now on hopefully you can do the same. I wish I could tell you the hours but here is a picture maybe it'll help they also have a phone number you can call and find out. Drive up to the window to weigh the material and have your I.D. ready. Let them know what kind of material you have best to separate that way you get a better price. Free if you're dropping off no problem let them know and drive to the back and dump it at gate five.
ENJOY THE FREE METAL FELLAS. YOU WEREN'T WORTH THE WAIT. I swear, how does this place make money? It must be in bulk. After 30-mins of waiting to check out, I just left. Everyone standing around, jack jawing.. Does anyone actually work in there
As mentioned by one other reviewer, they do not pay unless you have at least 500lb of scrap metal. Not sure about copper or other, more valuable metals. You can still drop off the scrap for free.
