At the end, I didn't need it and brought it back to the shop.
Money back with no questions.
They sell cheap.
Part was in good shape.
So came here after I was ignore at the other location and since I was upset from the bad time I had I forgot to put my mask -my bad I know- so I was sent back to get it so I did, then came down to pick my part and this is ir, why you enforce customers and not employees..?
Stay away from these guys. My mechanic ordered a driveshaft from these guys and guy on phone assured my mechanic yes they have the driveshaft and it will be delivered in their own truck from San Diego to Lancaster. We waited and wasted a whole day, same guy on phone assuring mechanic driveshaft on the way 3 times that next day. My mechanic called for manager but never answered or returned call.
The guy on the phone lied each time, will never deal with this outfit, just want to warn everyone what type of people you will be dealing with.
Great and fast customer service , here in tapatio you save a lot of money buying Autoparts , they have large inventory and they been in business for long time !!!
It's a great and well organized place. I purchased a wheel here with minor scratches and no damage. I later took it to a tire store to get it spined and they said it only had a minor jump and wouldn't effect the performance nor cause wear to the tire.
Ive always bought from Tapatio,its the best & if you want it cheaper you can get it yourself instead of paying a worker to do it for you but even paying a worker is still cheap worker charged me $15 & for a soda $18 nice!

I ordered a part and I pay for it and I mention it has to be privacy glass .they said yes we have it. I drive from El Cajon City to. otay by Wrecking Yard when I got there I asked for my part and they give me clear so I told him I need privacy like a black not clear they said this is what we have then I told him you told me yes we have it I drive 30 minutes for nothing. I cancelled and they return my money back. they probably using some Trek so when you'll get there you'll say. you know what I drive to long let me just get it. but not with me. and I can say they're bad but you know sometimes they have a good part and it's really reasonable. the bottom line they're not professional. and if you ask him how long you been here he will say 30 years. if I have business for 30 years I will Superman
Great junk yard prices are decent but it’s helpful you can call their number and they’ll tell you if they have whatever part you’re looking for exactly
I've been doing business with Tapatio for a few years ever since I have been at this particular shop in East County. I had heard from our other two shops of bad business dealing in the past, but I felt confidence never having issues in the past to continue using them. I contacted these guys 5 times to come back out and pick up a part that was not needed, as this is the practice in this industry. But they never came so we took the part back out to them in Otay they still did and will not except the part back or refund us our money. DO NOT ORDER USED PARTS FROM THIS COMPANY, BEWARE OF BAD BUSINESS PRATICE, RETURN POLICIES, CUSTOMER SERVICE!! COMPANY GETS 0 STARS FROM ME. But Unfortunately I have to put A STAR *
Searching for back window for my PT Cruiser. Spoke to Angel, pleasant found it, however had to be sent to the warehouse. Paid for it in advance, great price. Picked it up from the warehouse, which was well organized and clean. I will be getting other parts for my PT here again.
Horrible I will advise anyone who lives outside California where you can’t come to inspect your product to not buy from these guys they are straight scam artist. They will sell you a knowing bad product and then act like they didn’t know. Don’t make the same mistake I did stay far away
Had the part I needed at the same price I saw on eBay, and online parts places without the cost and delay of shipping. Orice was at the lower end of the scale even. In and out in 10 minutes. This will be the first place I check in the future.
I got there and I was able to find a parking and it was late around 4pm and the guys helped me right away , and immediately got the my piece. a tail light for a jeep patriot and for a good price! and right there I paid with card and got my invoice! and since the piece was in Los Angeles I had to wait but only 2 dias.. not even, but by saturday 8am my piece was there . and well as expected it fit and work fine. Good Service! Good Price! Fast Shipping!
you can get oem original parts at better than bargain prices. a part that would've cost me 1049.00 at the dealership shipped out the door for 150. almost too good to be true. one bone to pick though, they're a little slow and don't communicate very well. I had to call several times to make sure the item was shipped. legit business though you can trust them.
I was looking to replace a damaged rim on my 2010 Toyota Rav 4 Sport. It is a special rim that I couldn't find in any of the other auto wrecking businesses here in Chula Vista. Tapatio had exactly what I needed for a good price. Saved $$$$ by not buying it from the dealer.
Called this morning spoke to Christian about a car start problem. Helped me locate a Starter fo my Ecilpse 2002. Went down amd had the part. Low Price and saved money, from spending at a auto store. Ill be back if I need anything else...
I went with my friend and they have good stuff there the prices are not super cheap but the yard is very well organized into a grid so when you ask for specific Vehicles they give you a print out so you know exactly where to go.
Worst auto salvage in USA hands down. Call and get transferred around and get hung up on multiple times. These guys are a bunch of monkeys working here. Don't waste your time with this wacky place.
