They are awesome at this location. I went in to recycle a vehicle through the bureau of automotive repair. The process was quick and easy. I also noticed that they changed you driving the vehicle through their busy yard and as a mom of two toddlers I really appreciated that.
They are spectacular here at this location. They give good rates for all of your items, and they do their absolute best to help you unload your trailer instead of allowing you to struggle like some other recycle locations. I’ve come to this location five or more times in the last week and have hada extremely smooth experience. Their professionalism is on point, The knowledge and honesty was also top-tier. I recommend them for all your recycling needs.
Their policies have made it to where an honest person can't responsibly recycle. Not worth my time. 3 day hold on car batteries, no cat converters, etc. I'll just throw my recycling in the trash from now on like most of this state.
These guys will pay for your old non-working oven, dishwasher, clothes washing machine, other junk appliances. Only a few bucks, but it sure beats paying someone to haul it away, or driving to the dump and paying to unload it there.
It's probably a good time to mention they don't do CRV anymore. So you'll have to go elsewhere with your recycling. The guys there are really nice about it, though, and had some references elsewhere.

It's not like it's they're the ones paying for recycling or scrap. I understand not wanting to work extra or harder, but work is work. Besides them, cashier's get the 2 stars
Crooks. I told them scales are off. I set a 5lb iron weight on scale. It was 2.7 lbs. They kicked me out. Jose Gayton and Miguel should not be running scale. Fire mr. Gayton

SA recycling: Workers are polite, organized and actually quite diligent about following guidelines. And I really appreciate how they conduct business. However, they are quite slow. Wow, they are slow. There were about ten people ahead of us with I'd say eight of them only recycling cans (including myself) and it still took fifty minutes to get out of there. Hence, the three stars.
The customer service here is the worst I've encountered. One of the scale ladies is rude. The two cashiers iv'e encountered have no respect for the customer, have a total disregard of work environment Think they own the company.
The people here are so nice and helpful much better customer service than other recycling places I have been. Even though we weren’t an 18 wheeler, we still got respect as we were dumping large items from a box truck. We really appreciated that. And they pay well too. It’s easy to understand where you need to go and lots of space as well. Clean parking area and even the large item metal recycling area was well taken care of so I wasn’t thinking twice about popping a tire. Definitely a great experience all around, glad to know this place exists with excellent service and doesn’t try and rob you. I recommend checking them out!!!
Do not go here. Terrible price on copper, I didn't notice it until i got into my car and checked the receipt. My friend with me recycled some copper last Saturday at a spot in Santee that had copper #1 at around $1.90 a lb, these guys had it at around $1.25. I went back out to those guys who "work" there and they said they don't price match. Will never go there again. I wanted to put my plumbing license on file and wouldn't accept a picture of my license, said they had to send in the real thing to corporate to put me on file. Once I go get the cash Monday I'll never go back. The people working there are next to worthless as well. Go to Troy recycling in lemon Grove for good customer service. The guy tried to mix up my #1 and #2 and count it all as #2, when we asked what he was doing he had us sort it all out while he talked with his buddy. I truly feel ripped off. When we did the math on the price drop it was around $80+ we lost going here.
Absolutely by far the worst SA. Incompetent workers in yard and scale. I have been to SA all over 5states. This one absolutely awful. Fernado is a snake. Deliberately rip people off. Dont waste time. They need to fire everyone but office girls.
This guys had no set price. So they giving you price as they like. When I asked for price list they said don't have one, but how you give me a price for copper? Don't go if you don't want to be scammed.
Great place to recycle your auto through California State program aka BAR (Bureau of Auto Repair). This is the only accepted one in S.D. that will take your car and give your refund from the program. The staff were friendly and helpful through the process. Lots of parking on site. They also recycle almost all metals and other items. Easy to find and located right across the street from 32nd Street, US Navy Base and Churche's Chicken. Handicapped parking and rest area available.
