Gone down hill last couple years. Last time I went to pickup my VW, they said it was off to the side parking. I went out, the windows were all left open, someone had spilled something out one of the side windows, and the battery was dead as a door nail. Plus they charged me twice for reading ODBII codes, almost $200! Many shops scan for free, and you only have to scan once for all codes. I think the father may no longer be around and that's a shame.

Great people and family owned. This place is OG and has been doing what they do for a long time and it's easy to see why, they're the best.

Justin messed up installing cam bearings on my 5.3 and sent me away saying that my iron block's cam journals were warped. lol. I took my engine to Mesa machine and got the cam bearings installed same day. Otherwise, the machine work was inexpensive with a quick turnaround.

I had the best first experience from a mechanic in my entire life. I took my 1985 Volkswagen vanagon in to get checked out because it was turning on, but it wouldn’t stay on unless I stepped on the accelerator. I told scott that at Volkswagen Paradise, and he said he didn’t have much time to give a thorough inspection, but told me to bring it in to get at least that problem fixed. He fixed the problem and didn’t charge me a dollar. I am so grateful for his generosity and I will definitely be coming back once he has time to give my van a thorough inspection

I have been going to Paradise for years. Scott and team are THE BEST. These guys are honest, trustworthy, and extremely good mechanics. I had my Audi Q7 in this week for a front brake job and they did a great job. They always use the right OEM parts and they saved me ton of money by turning my rotors instead of replacing them. Their machine shop can do anything - these guys are talented and know their stuff! Over the years they've done work on my VW and several Audis. I will be back for more work when it's needed. Last but not least, their pricing is very fair. I will only take my expensive Audi to these guys! Thank you Paradise.

Scott has been so helpful. We wasted a lot of time and money at a previous repair shop that couldn't fix an issue with an old vanagon. They got it to run smoothly in way less time. We'll be back for any further issues.

These guys rebuilt my VW motor for my dune buggy. They were fast friendly and fair priced!! I’m currently having them work on the wiring for the same toy!

This is the place to get all work done for your vw. Ive moved out of state and still bring my cars here. Its worth the wait to have them grace your dub with their hands and other body parts. This motor was pulled out of a swap and look at it now 1950cc

Not very helpful, they obviously don't need the business. I had a light on my dashboard & he said nothing to worry about. A few days later I had a dead battery. They can't be bothered, said 6 weeks until next appointment. Will NEVER go there again!

Scott, Molly, Jason and Kris have been building engines, replacing wiring harnesses, selling me tons of parts etc for me and my dad for 35 years. I love this family and business and am a loyal customer for life!

I took my green Superbeetle down to Paradise to fix my fuel gauge, replace the fuel lines, and handle some minor engine work. My beetle now purrs like a kitten. The engine idles so smoothly. Whatever special touches they did to my engine has been amazing. Having old pros work on my car is worth any price.

As my wife’s older VW van started needing work, more and more owners told me about how good these guys are. It took a while to get everything fixed and cost a few bucks, but it’s worth it. Thanks Scott and Hector, really appreciate that you made it so we enjoy driving that van again.

Without question, these guys are the most skilled and honest mechanics I've ever dealt with. Scot, the owner is a genuine hard working man who always puts the customer first. I've been dealing with them for over 15 years and will continue as long as their doors are open. Give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

I put a deposit down for a vehicle inspection. Although I did not end up purchasing the vehicle the owner promptly returned my deposit. He had good communication throughout. Hard to find dealers like this. Although I did not end up purchasing a car I would have no hesitation to do so in the future.

Excellent garage. Very professional, great work. Super friendly. Went in with a sloppy shifter thinking it was just the bushings. 1st gear was near impossible to find. They set me up with a great repair and a brand new shifter that shifts like a dream. You should call to make and appointment, they are busy (booked 2 weeks out) but definitely worth the wait. 1973 Squareback

Paradise was referred to me by someone I trusted after my mechanic retired. They were fantastic. I made an appointment & they looked at my car right after I drove in. They were fast, efficient and prices were very reasonable. They informed me about a repair that would be expensive but it didn't need to be done right away. I like it when they make you aware of a situation and don't unnecessarily pressure you to do it immediately. I'm happy I went there. I will go again.

Had a type IV motor dyno'd and jetted. Very upfront about price. Job was done quickly and engine runs superb now! I'll definitely return if I need service on my bus.

Let me start by saying this is the first time I’ve taken to ever leave a review. But I felt it was necessary for this business. I’m a new owner of a 67 Manx with little to no experience on VW motors. I brought my Manx to Paradise motorsports for troubleshooting service and repair. Of course I hoped for just a place that can fix it for a fair price, but I got much much more than that. I was first met by the owner who is a very nice man with so many years of knowledge. He was so helpful in answering my questions and we had a great conversation. My Manx was fixed within a couple hours and when I came to pick it up They explain to me exactly what was wrong, how it happened, and how to prevent it. And their fee was more than reasonable. I walked away Reassured that there are still businesses out there that operate with honesty and integrity. Paradise motorsports actually has made me more excited about my new project. I now know when something goes wrong, or I break something. There is a business out there that that will take care of me with honesty and integrity and extremely fair pricing. I look forward to building a relationship with Paradise motorsports.

They are one of the best VW shops in the nation. Their holds numerous world records and they made my Porsche run perfectly!

All I can say is WOW! This place is awesome, Scott the owner gave me a tour of the shop and all they do there. I was amazed at the knowledge and know how this place has. I never knew all you could do with a simple air-cooled VW engine. Scott and his crew fine tuned my dual carb setup on my new Manx buggy. I was never pressured into buying or doing anything I didn't need. Very honest group of people here and I will be back for future repairs and tune-ups.

This is where I would go when I owned my 70 VW beetle. One time I couldn't shift my bug cuz the stick shift was really loose and sloppy. I didn't have an appointment with them but rather I had a Dr.s appointment I was going to. They took me in immediately and fixed my shifting problem lickity split! It was only 90 bucks and I actually made it to my Dr's office in time! They have always been very helpful and they would explain things very clearly when I had many questions! Patience too, cuz I had tons of questions! I highly recommend this business if you have a classic VW! It would still be my go-to place if I still owned my bug but I gifted it to my son & he lives out of state.

Scott and his repair team did an amazing job on my '73 VW convertible. The car sat for 7 years with a new rebuild engine installed. Scott was able to quickly diagnose issues with the install and now has the car running like it did 40+ years ago! No nickel and diming here! Just great repairs of what actual needs done.

I'm not really a VW guy but I take all my machine work here. Joe in the machine shop always does a great job on the work I send him. He is very knowledgeable and has answers for all my questions. I have never had problems with their work.
