I brought 2 loads to this place this week. The first time there i paid cash and did not think anything about it. The second time there yesterday I gave them my card. The lady at the collection shack said my card would not work and she ran it 3 times. I have tons of money in the account since it is my business account. Then she informed me that their Credit Card Service does not allow any Citibank Cards. What the heck???
So I have to change banks to dump there. She said the idiots in Management have known about it for a long time but are unwilling to fix. What Bad Business Practice for a Multimillion dollar business to have. Heck there are 40 people working there standing around. Maybe loose some of the employees that just stand around so they can get a new CC service?
They also want you to wear a safety vest. They provide you one that is used, so be sure to check for lice later. Yet their employees lack safety practices be walk around vehicles with stereo headphones on, the guy could not hear vehicles around him. Not really sure why the customers need to have safety stuff when their staff does not have to apply safety measures. I may be wrong, maybe it is a new OSHA requirement?¿
Please bring your CASH if you are a Citibank Customer, otherwise they won't allow you to dump.
My little trailer was 105.00 to dump, not sure if that's good or bad for its size. It is the size of a pickup truck bed.
I have been there multiple times. They are helpful and friendly. Most recently Noe was wonderful. He helped me figure out where to dump the different things I had in my trailer. It was the end of the day, yet he was patient, helpful and friendly.
It's busy, sometimes stopping to 'clean the floor' for 20 minutes.
But as you wait remember there is no air-conditioning, it stinks, there are flies everywhere.
Still they work tirelessly, my hat is off to them!

Took 1 hour just to drop off a load of trash. No joke, on a Saturday morning from when I entered to when I left. Just sat in line after line to drop a trailer load of trash. Plus they have raised their fees so much over the last few years.
Everything was okay until I got to the end to pay @11:40am, not only was the cashier rude but he intentionally upgraded my services without my knowledge just to overcharge me. He became more unprofessional and rude as I asked to speak to a higher up. It’s upsetting that the service and all is so great until you get to the end and you began part ways.
I've been going here for years. The staff is friendly and as long as you go during non peak hours it's pretty quick. My problem is with the price hike within the last year. Dump fees used to be 65 dollars on average with a full trailer of debris. Even with a trailer filled with heavy logs it's barely over 100 dollars. I brought a trailer filled with heavy objects one day and they charged me 85 for the fee. I came back the same day with a trailer filled with only yard debri. It wasn't heavy stuff and they once again charged 85 dollars. I went a couple days ago with 600 pounds of yard waste and this time they charged me 90 dollars and didn't even give me my receipt... there's no way they are charging by weight. They are just punching in a flat price. It shouldn't be almost double the dump fee that it was a year ago. I'll change my rating when you change your prices back to fair rates.
Expensive for a dump. Don't go in the afternoons, all the edco trucks drop off after their route and you will be waiting for 45 minutes. Staff is professional and communicates well
Prices are outrageous. They charge by weight and then tack on additional fees. If you have any metal or appliances take them to a recycling or scrap metal place, they will give YOU money instead of CHARGING YOU!
This is a very efficient place. Everyone is very helpful and always pleasant. I sure like going on the weekends that they don't have coupons. It much easier getting in and out.
Fast entry check in and fast exit check out. Unfortunately when I got there at 2:15 pm on a Wednesday, it took me 50 minutes of waiting to empty the pickup. Really busy. Communication of the workers is excellent, they are really helpful. It was my first time there and they Madd it easy.
This place allows palm leaves if anyone was wondering. Also wear a mask, not because of Covid 19 ( although you should ) but because there is a ton of particulates of garbage in the air.
Not consistant with the time, if the bin is on the side walk they wont take it. Looks like I have to take a day off just to make sure they take my trash bin.
Driver dont care if he leaves trash behind.
In July 2019 major renovation underway. Drove right past it... Had to backtrack and found hard-to-read signage directing traffic to alternate driveway at West end of property
They made us back in and untie- ready to unload and then stop and pull out just when we started. They wanted us to let another car out. It’s so difficult to pull in backing a trailer up and to have to stop and pull is a huge problem.
Great facility, friendly and helpful people. You will drive in and get weighed. They will direct you to an unloading bay where you unload your vehicle. Then they direct you to the exit to be weighed again and pay or give them your coupon.
They directed me and which place to go but I did not how do you know how to use my end loader. They taught me how to use one that I had borrowed and everything went fine. They're very helpful there. ;)
I like how Escondido Resource Recovery is expanding their facility to maintain short wait times.
I'm more impressed about the ability and power of recycling. Operating environmentally friendly and assisting in reusing energy sources is the way of future business operations.
They are a leader and trendsetter in the game and I learn what I can every time I make a visit.
It would take an hour to unload my trailer filled with construction debris. Sometimes I'd have to wait for about 10 minutes for the tractor do push the trash away. The smell inside the building is bad I rec com end a dust madk
I brought some wooden blinds to the disposal center in Washington Ave. They wanted to charge me 21 dollars for disposing of 4 blinds. I felt that it was excessive and unnecessary. The policy should be if one can verify being an existing customer in the city of Escondido then the disposal should be free since I one can dispose of the blinds in the regular trash.
