They tow vehicles without following DMV role's. They towed my car in 6 minutes after I stopped my car in front of my apartment while my emergency light on. They charged me $475. They just steel money from people.
My fiance had a medical condition and they had her Jeep. Gina was one of the kindest people that I have ever met on that business by letting me with the proper paperwork removed her personal fx. Thank you Gina, you are beautiful and kind, I will never forget what you did for us!
I give this a 3 star rating because i have had my car parked out of my spot in previous years, and it was extremely difficult to get it back. This place was pleasant, the gal working the front desk was friendly and polite. Ibviously my husband and i were not thrilled to pay $380 to oick up my car, however they arent the ones that negligantly parked my car in the parking space with no permit in the window. So overall the experience sucked because of my choices, but was perfectly good customer service on their part while getting the car back.

Had no idea my car was towed so I come in the next day and am charged $150 for 2 days (towed in the 18th and picked up the 19th) AND $110 for “after hours pick up” because it’s a Saturday. If you’re gonna charge me $550 total at least send a phone call or something to let me know I was towed in the first place.
Western rowing towed a vehicle from an apartment complex. I called to get my items but they refused saying I needed to have verification from owner of vehicle just to get my things. I got that. Now they say I need her registration and insurance to get my items. Later that same week they towed my brother's friends car from the same apartment complex.Funny thing is the car wasn't in her name and she didn't have verification or a license and they let her take the car out. They play games and I am looking for a lawyer and my brothers friend is going to back me up. Trying to see if it's possible to put a lien on there business.
After picking up my car that was towed. Found my volume button broken and missing the part that broke. Windshield wipers were left on, not sure why they were turned on in the first place. Car was towed and I picked it up under 12hrs later, not sure how they manage to
Absolutely terrible company. They towed my friend's truck early Saturday morning. I called to confirm they towed it and to pick it up and was told I'll be charged $300 for the tow and an additional $180 for after hours pickup. She said she has someone working until 1 at the location where it was towed to but since they are closed on weekends I'll be charged the $180. Ridiculous. Poor business ethics. Should be reported to BBB.
These people are SCAMMERS. I have parked my car outside my friends house for not even 10mins. Their garage was fully open and my car was on a hazard. the guy who towed it was rushing to get it. I got to their office right when my car got dropped off and the lady wasnt even listening to my explanation. She charged me for 365. This is so unacceptable and unreasonable to tow a car with a fully open garage and a hazard on and then charging you for 365 dollars. Total BS. theyre making a living out of this.
Bunch of crooks. Parked in my girlfriend's assigned parking at her apartment complex before I head off to the store and my car gets towed because it has no permit. Mind you this was at 5pm, not even the time security comes through and checks for permits which is at night. This company and anyone who works for them should be ashamed. $475 gone for them taking it and me receiving it after 1 hour. Trashy practices and people.
They need to make sure their equipment is working properly before towing vehicles. Almost rear-ended a persons vehicle they were towing because there break lights weren't working. POOR MANAGEMENT….

Called them to let them know not to tow me because I was giving authorization to park where I am. Rude man hung up on me and told me “I don’t know the rules”. Uneducated and extremely rude low life.
Just got off the phone with a western towing representative, and the experience was not to be desired. This company towed my sons vehicle from his apartment building , with our car being parked in its assigned parking space. The apartment personnel accidentally assigned a second tenant to the same parking space. After communication the issue was supposedly resolved and there would be no charges and the car could be picked up no worries right..... not quite. The extremely rude employee named neo (that refused to give his last name) stated he needed registration with my sons name and insurance information. I could comment for an hour or more at this point on policy and responsibility of this company but I'll move on to the facts that I provided my information and all needed information to get the car but if I was not able to do that during my work day, the car would have kept more than the 20 hours it was held. So. If this company and neo thinks that it, they are very wrong. I will be asking in writing for a formal apology, and an ammendment to policy in writing. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and if needed, filing a small claims suit for the loss of my wages today and damage done to the car being towed. Neo, I hope you have a great performance record and this company loves you because you have definitely cost them today and we'll see if the continue to employ extremely rude and wrong employees.
I’ve lived in San Diego for 15yrs and this is the most corrupt, notorious, and awful company in the city. The worst apt complexes hire them. They towed our car when we were MOVING several years ago, on our first night, and then charged $400 just like that. Employees are incredibly rude and professional. It’s a complete shame the City of SD has allowed them to keep their operating license.
I live in an apartment complex with n Clairemont Dr. that has a contract with this company. They really know how to make money out of not doing their job. Every single night I see cars parked without their parking permit in the complex’s lots and several of them even park on the fire lanes. I’ve lived here for almost two years and not once I’ve seen them doing their job. Part of the money they make comes out of the residents rent so this is infuriating.
Male tried towing my car at 4am. I woke up and caught him in the middle of hitching the car on. Tried calling him from my balcony and he scurried off. Thankfully I live in a culdesac so was he couldn’t make his exit as swift as I imagined he wanted. Reeked of weed and poor attitude. Towed me because I parked on red and then released my car next to 5 other cars that were parked on red. If he had gotten those I’m sure you guys would have gotten your money! Paid $150 to get it off and he told me I was lucky I didn’t have to pay $400 to get it off the lot. Very condescending but what can I expect from a towing company. Not to mention cash only! This is so there is no documentation of any of the transaction that could be used in court. Scammers that are poor at their job and couldn’t make a successful tow and live off vulnerable people.
I advise everyone to put in a small claim of your payment because more than likely they scammed and cut corners to take your car. Every employee in this place does not care about you remember that . They care about the job and the job only. My girlfriend’s car got towed today on her own parking space and she had proof of no tow zone and that she had the rights to park. They didn’t let her communicate on the phone and cut her off several times in conversation and disrespected her in person. Anyone who encounters these people sue them .
Careful with these people, they will take your car with no notice, no proper reason, because I had no “parking permit” but you can literally see it there and will want you to pay like 400 bucks to get your car back, if they take your car, call your apartments manager and tell them to call a manager from this shady company to get ur car back without having to get scammed by these clowns.

The most disrespectful towing company I have ever met in my life they have no respect for the people cars that they told they have no respect for security as well do not know how this company operates with such disrespect I understand that they are doing their job which is completely understandable but they must be at the same time respectful and understand that they do not have the authority to talk to people the way they do
Live in an apartment complex and as you can see on the attached picture Western towing is assigned/contracted to our building. When called tonight (02/02) they told me they don’t see my number on their file. I told them I am just reading the sign in front of me, that I have a baby in the car and there’s absolutely no parking on the weekend so I need them to show up and tow the person that’s parked on my spot. They just hang up on me!
Damaged my wife’s car when they towed it from Del Rio apartments. Extremely rude staff from the beginning. Was told the cost would be $270 and then when I showed up 10 minutes after the phone call I was charged $340. They tried adding an additional charge ontop of that aswell, very unethical and shady business practices.

First class scammers. My brother got his car towed. He offered to pay a drop fee to release the car because he needs the vehicle for work. The tow truck company said “we don’t do drop fees”
It’s the law in California to offer drop fees and they refused to give my vehicle back. I recommend everyone with a similar experience to report them to state attorneys office
damaged my car and when they towed it wouldn’t give me the number of who called to tow it. unbelievably rude customer service. when a guy came by to look at the damage he kept criticizing me for driving a lowered car and was no help. lowered car is not the problem the problem is they don’t teach how to properly tow a lowered car
As a patrolman, our security company need their services quite often and their drivers are pretty chill. Very reliable to work with them considering it's during the night. Don't really have any complaints. As a side note: Can't speak for everyone but we've had residents who live in HOAs which have rules (some which are strict) that don't allow parking in any driveways and they record asking why are towing the car in their own driveway excluding the fact that rule is on the HOA contract/lease. Anyway, their drivers handle these these issues as well with professionalism and don't tow the cars if the owner show up.
I wish I can do zero stars because they 100% are scammers. My car got towed on the same day I tried calling and of course no one answered the phone. And the website lies as well. They tell you to only pick up your vehicle during business hours and they’re closed on weekends. I call on Monday which is today and the lady was like oh yeah the towing lot your car is at you could’ve picked it up when it got towed. I was not notified my car was towed what so ever until I went to leave Saturday morning and caught by surprise that it was gone. Now I have to pay almost $500 just to get my car back. Mind you the lot my car was towed at is 24hrs and there’s someone there so you can pick up your car whenever. And the website doesnt tell you that either. Definitely recommended getting legal/lawyers involved to get your money back!
Dead of the night, taken from own driveway with no notice. No knock on the door. Woke up to a missing vehicle. They claimed "how do we know who it belonged to?" But there were TWO cars in the same driveway; why did they only take 1? No knock on the door and taken while everyone was sleeping. Very professional, Western Towing. Not allowed to view the photos their tow driver took unless you escalate it to court!! Even with basic parking tickets you can view the photo of the alleged violation. This place is shady after. The receptionist is also quite rude and unsympathetic; constantly repeating the same phrase: "you were unauthorized, how do we know who it belonged to? Check your email for the documents I sent!" Rude. Over $400 for less than 12 hours, too. Scammers.
When my garage door opener stopped working, I called this company for assistance. The technician arrived promptly, diagnosed a wiring issue, and thoroughly explained the repair process. He was polite and professional. The service was efficient, and the pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This company might be handy for your towing needs but they also use predatory towing tactics to make money. In public areas, signs must be posted in order for towing companies to legally tow your car away. These signs must be visible and measure at least 17 by 22 inches. If the sign is not visible clearly or smaller than that minimum size, it is likely that the towing company is committing an action known as "predatory towing", which involves attempting to illegally tow vehicles for a profit. This is an illegal activity and should be reported to the police....
The other night at the Marriott in El Cajon that had several tow truck lined up at the parking lot towing cars left and right!
They were working at night and towing all these cars and then not only charging people a towing fee but also charging people an extra $100 for “after hours“ towing even though they were towing cars after hours.
16-22 people stood in line waiting to retrieve their cars after a 2 hour “towing marathon” at the Marriott. The Marriott signs are covered by trees and also it’s very unclear that it’s private property. they must’ve made about 10 grand that night charging $425 per tow!
We felt so violated and robbed! We had no idea that the property we parked at was private property. The signs were covered with branches (see photo) A friend had her vehicle towed earlier that evening and said they had about 10 tow trucks lined up waiting to tow anyone who didn’t have a Marriott parking pass hauling cars away!!
