1st, I have used Clancy's Towing for over 20 years. We don't need them took frequently but when we have they have never let us down. One of my vehicles is a lift 92' GMC. This was the first vehicle they towed for us over 20 years ago. They were professional and got me and my truck safely to the shop.
Today I had a flat on the 52 East. Of course, during rush hour. I called and the fellas who took my info was thorough and even figured out that I was in the wrong highway... don't ask. I pinned my location and he found me. He sent someone out and JONATHAN got there within 40minutes. He was courteous, professional, and even figured out the problem quickly. He tried putting air in the tire, he realized it was a slow leak and switched it out with the spare. I think he worked in a NASCAR pit crew. He had me back on the road within about 20min.
These guys are all great and I will continue to call them.

I have photos of a Clancy’s tow truck that was towing a green truck yesterday, hit the trolley arm at the Amaya Dr. & Severin trolley crossing, and just keep going after it ripped off. I called 911 due to the hazard of the trolley arm being in the trolley tracks. Reported and sent photos to La Mesa PD & MTS. Unprofessional company that should not be towing your cars, and puts them at risk of being irreparably damaged, as well as vandalizes city property and doesn’t have the decency to stop, or do the right thing and pull over. My kids and I came back and moved the trolley arm out of the tracks to avoid a horrible accident, and talked to MTS. It’s a shame the driver couldn’t do the right thing but grateful even my 10 & 12 year old stopped to help when the driver couldn’t.
Today I called to have my truck towed to a mechanic and within the hour Jonathan arrived and was able to get my truck hooked up rapidly and taken without any issues. He was extremely kind and polite and showed care and consideration for my vehicle while displaying complete professionalism. I will 100% use this towing company again. I really appreciated everyone involved in the entire process with special acknowledgment to Jonathan.
Worst towing ever I would give them zero star so rude and racist. They are thieves steal people money. They towed my car that was only 15 min and I noticed right away and called them right away. They keep it less than one hour and he charge me $650. And it was less them 5 miles towed worst company ever rude, did not listen of my situation and I explained I had an emergency and I had 3 car seats. He don’t understand and rip be off they just simply public thief.
Can't give it half a star and even that would be too much. Car was taken to this 'business' at the direction of the La Mesa PD. My laptop bag and my weekender bag were rummaged, clothing and
extension cords were strewn all over the driver's seat. Someone affiliated with this tow company took some items from the car.

We needed a tow on Sunday night at 6pm when a wheel bearing failed on our travel trailer on Hwy I8. Chose to call Clancy’s because of their google rating. They were fabulous. Arrived within 1/2 hour. Nathan efficiently got the trailer onto a flatbed and took us to In-Ka-Pah Machinery. Thanks for your kindness and expertise, Nathan.
I’ve only had to use a tow service a couple of times this company by far outshined my other experiences! They were super helpful and the prices were much better. I’ll definitely use them again if I need towing services
Very scary place. I called last week to ask about picking up my car that was illegaly towed and the guy named Simon made several threats and was screaming and calling me names because I asked 3 questions of time and location where I could get it. Completely unprofessional. Stay away from this company.
If I could give a zero star review I would I called this towing company and waited over an hour for them to come to come get a vehicle out of a illegally parked hadicapped spot in my complex. They never bothered to even come out I called to get an update and they stated that they were not even coming they never thought to even call me back or advise me of that when I first called. With being the towing company that is contracted by my apartment complex this put me in a situation where I was unable to have anybody else told the vehicles horrible service would never recommend again and I'm filing a complaint with my apartment complex to hopefully get them fired save yourself the time and trouble of calling this company go with a better company.
Jonathan from Clancy's was professional, showed up in a timely manner, and helped me problem solve so we could get my car towed without starting it (even though the front wheels were up on ramps). Great service at a fair price. Thank you Jonathan for your help today

My son got he's car impounded Friday night we went to pick up the car the tire was smashed on purpose. First when he called the person answering the phone was rude up on him several times. We still haven't got a call back after leaving several texts message to the manager about the tire next step is legal action.
Unprofessional. Fee was $700 for 2hrs due to mother in law being hit by drunk driver and towed by CHP. Kid (he said his name was Dan but didn’t want to give it) at desk tonight (Sep15) did not care on to locate our vehicle and said “I guess” after he said we needed an appointment to pick up the car.
UPDATE:
Next day my wife goes to pick up the vehicle, nobody is at the yard to help even though hours say 24/7. Owner recognizes her last name and threatens her to tell me to remove this review. Since review was not removed, he also put another overnight fee charge to the total from $700 to $812.
The vehicle was only in the yard for 10 hours and they would not let us pick the vehicle until the next day on purpose.
Joe came to the rescue tonight!!! My stupid car decided to throw me another wrench and would not come out of reverse… in a bank drive through!!! Other places quoted $200 more with a two hour wait. Joe was there. Figured out what the problem was and got me towed one block back to my home. This man deserves a freaking raise!!! Thank you Joe!
These guys are very helpful. I sold a car and the idiot who bought it didn't record the title. The car got towed. I received notices from the sheriff department that they would put a lien on my property. Derek and Mia were very helpful and guided me through the process and helped me with the DMV reassignment of title. What started out as a crazy day? I've got a project Jeep that has been sitting on my second property for a couple of years, and I realized it was never going to get finished if it wasn't convenient to work on at home. I called on a whim on Easter Sunday just to get a quote and was a little surprised that they answered right away, and a lot surprised that that they were immediately available, affordable, and didn't have holiday rates. The driver hustled to get the tow done while remaining extremely friendly, and he even helped me get the Wagoneer positioned exactly where I wanted it on my sloped driveway (I made sure to take care of him). I could have rounded up some friends, borrowed a trailer, and moved it myself with my truck, but Clancy's made it so convenient, fast, and reasonable that it was well worth it.
Horrible customer service. If I could give a rating less than one star I would! My daughters car was totaled and towed to this lot on the day we headed out of town for 10 days. When I called to provide a credit card to pay to have the car removed to a salvage lot, they refused to take a credit card number over the phone. I was told we’d have to pay $55/day for them to keep the car until we returned. That’d be an additional $550-$600!!! What a rip-off and totally insensitive to our situation. I don’t know how this guy sleeps at night as he is ripping off the public.
I came with a friend to help him find a cheap car that runs. The man who helped us out was very nice and a straight shooter, wasn’t trying to lead us astray. Smooth and easy process with the paperwork and would recommend anyone struggling to get a cheap car that they check this place out.
Complete jerks to me when I was parked in a spot I wasn’t supposed to because the No Parking sign was blocked by another car and there were no spots available where I was taking my mother for lunch on her birthday. She is legally blind and I needed a safe place to park. I had only been there five minutes and they hadn’t even finished attaching my car when I approached them to ask them to please not tow it and explained the situation and that I’d move it. They blatantly ignored me and continued hooking up my car. At which point they told me they’d unhook it for $102. This is going to sound like I made it up but I had pictures to prove to them that I was telling the truth. That the sign was blocked (by the other car they were towing away. Even after they had started to move it the sign was till mostly blocked.) Also, that I NEEDED my car to return to Children’s hospital where my son is ICU after open heart surgery. They told me that “everyone has a sad story.” Rudest people I have ever encountered with no kindness, mercy or understanding. When my husband tried to call their offices he was hung up on four times.
