I had PPF installed on my car’s front end in July, and by October it was already peeling with dirt trapped under the edges. I brought it in and called multiple times asking for repairs or replacement, but the shop completely ignored me. Terrible workmanship and customer service.

I had my calipers painted red on my new Cayman. Now they really pop!!! These folks really know service With a thirdeye for small details & more reasonable then some dealer suggested shops I checked out first. And unlike those High volume shops, my boysDiego and Josh Will put in the many hours to get the job, right. Well worth your time and hard earned money to check them out

Along with my full ceramic window tint job, I threw The SD Power Customs Team a curveball. I requested a star-link, two Nintendo Switch 2s, two Headrest Monitors, a Star Roof, Ambient Lighting, and Custom Headlight's, and after 2 weeks of work they did not disappoint at all. This was a complicated job that truly solidifies their ability and talent for Custom Jobs. Diego loves cars and at no time did I feel like my property was at risk.
They did a terrible job on my windows. Both my drivers side and passenger side have bubbles in them. They told me it would be about 2 and a half hours to finish but it took 5 hours. They told me they had material when they didn’t so I had to keep changing what I wanted. To top it off they do not care about your paint. They will throw blades and whatever they are using to tint on top of your bare paint. I was supposed to come back to get my windshield tinted but I will never be coming back here.
Took my mercedes benz to Miguel's shop for PPF and ceramic wrapped. The finished wrapped has scuff marks, but the PPF looks terrible, its peeling. Had to take it back to get it redone, to no avail, still peeling.The shop scratch my car and insisted that it was already there. The owner said that he would repair the scratch by getting it painted. When I picked up my car the scratch was still there but cover over with the PPF.
I eventually took my car to another company and they said the PPF and wrap was a really terrible job.
Stopped in to ask some questions and prices. I talked to Diego, and he was very helpful and very cool. He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want, he was there listening, processing, and answering my nieve questions. Great guy, great work, I highly recommend this establishment. Totally awesome experience doing business with them.

I had a small crack the size of a dime in my windshield. I drove up to SD Power Customs on the way home from work just to see what they thought. They had me pull in my car and started working on it immediately- 30 minutes later It was fixed and looked as good as new. Don’t risk full window replacement when the solution is this quick and easy and affordable compared to a new windshield.
I went to their Vista location. I called and they were very clear and concise. They were able to take me in the same day, no problem. In less than a couple of hours, they had my vehicle ready. Very friendly and easy to work with. The tint came out good and they did exactly what I needed. I will say, for how they handle themselves and how fast they work, the price was worth it. I will give an update in a week or two!
Came in to SD Power Customs and was treated amazing! They were great at answering every question I had and very accommodating to my needs! They did an amazing job for my window tint; I am really happy with the results!
This place is a scam. My son took his car 2016 Scion FRS there for body work. They told my son that the rear quarter panel needed to be replaced. They estimated the job at $2000. It took 22 days to complete the job. We paid for it and picked up the car. Not even 1 year after the job was done. A hole started showing up in the finder area. And paint cracks all over the area. After inspecting the inside of the finder, I found out that they used bondo to repair the finder. My son contacted the shop and asked for Miguel. Which I think he’s the owner. Every time my son called, he was told that he’s not available. They kept saying that for a long time. Then, he got hold of him. He told him what happened. And that there’s a hole in the finder. He told my son that we had to use bondo to shape the fender area. And the warranty is expired. It’s just ridiculous. I don’t understand how do you use bondo on a part that was supposedly be replaced not repaired. $2000, 22 days for bondo job. Well, since they don’t want to take care of the issue, I’m going to seek other ways to get this issue taken care of.
**UPDATE**
I called the owner (Miguel) myself and ask him to resolve the issue, he kept saying to go take the car to the body shop that worked on it. I told him that you guys are the one who worked on it inside your shop. He said that someone else worked on it. So I asked him if you hired a third-party to come and work on the car. And he said yes, so I asked him if he has a body and paint license to work on cars inside his shop, he answered yes, then I asked him to see the license, he changed the subject and asked me to take the car to the body shop. so basically they did a bodywork on my son's car without a license for paint and body. which is against the law. plus, now he wants me to take it back to the people who previously worked on it to get it checked out. But this time at their shop. What a joke. I'm currently finding other ways to get this issue resolved.
This place is a joke. I came in to get my truck wrapped and they did an awful job. Literally nothing was what I wanted. The logo was the closest thing they got right except for a misspelling! They spelt excellence wrong! The stickers were crooked by an inch. I asked for a partial refund and I said I would pay for material and labor but I’m not happy with the product. It’s not what I wanted and it looks awful. They said they would give no refund but would give me a great deal on wrapping it again because they admitted to messing up the first time. The great deal was for $1800 which was the same price I got from another company. Don’t work with these shady guys. They are not reasonable and do not do good work.
Terrible service. I had them install alarm and do tinted window.
Alarm- seems like the person that installed it used my vehicle to learn. On top of that they wanted to charge me extra to have the doors lock/unlock using my remote control. Which was one of the main reason why I wanted an alarm.
Tint- has bubbles and scratches all over my vehicle. Which they mention that it just needed to dry. It’s already been 4 days.
I would not recommend this place.

Today I got my front 2 windows and windshield tinted here at SD Power Customs. Prior to my visit I had spoken to Alfredo, the owner of the shop who was not only very helpful and informative. He helped me figure out what was the best tint to go with based off the budget I had. I asked for a quote and he gave me a killer deal over the phone. We went ahead and chose the Nano Ceramic Film which came with lifetime warranty! I was in and out of the shop within the hr and the windows came out great. I couldn't be any happier with the product and services provided. I would definitely come again for any future vehicles I have and will tell all my friends and family to come get their windows tined here as well!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!! Last week I brought them my seven week old $96,000 company truck to have a partial wrap put on. We agreed they would have it two days, but literally one hour after dropping it off Wednesday morning, manny called to say they needed it one more day, which meant Tuesday morning because he said Saturday was his busiest day so it would sit all weekend!! When I called Tuesday morning he said it still wouldn’t be done for another day, but when I arrived Wednesday at 2pm it still wasn’t done!! For five days, every time I told them I needed to go back to work and had to pick it up, they said it wasn’t finished and they needed more time. In the end, they had my main source of income totally shut down for a total of EIGHT DAYS. A really upsetting is that I brought in a beautiful, brand new, $96,000 truck and they gave me back an incomplete, poorly done mess that needs to be fixed!! Wrapping the trucks is our best advertising investment, which I’m happy to pay for, but this looks so bad I’m literally taking it to another shop to remove and replace all of it because the way our trucks look is a reflection of how we operate and the job sd power custom did is a poor reflection. The owner will promise you a perfect job, which I told him we expected, but they couldn’t deliver, even after taking over a week to do a two day job! They removed the factory badges and left all the glue on the new $12,000 custom paint job, there were gaps between sections, the lettering was poorly spaced, there’s bubbles in the wrap and worst of all, even though it was FULLY detailed literally the day before dropping it off, when I pulled it out of the dimly lot shop, we realized there were water steaks around the entire truck, the windows were all dusty with fingerprints all over, there were scratches on the tailgate, it looked like they drove it through a dust field with all the windows open, but as if all of that wasn’t offensive enough, there was a HUGE pile of trash they had put in the bed of the truck. As for their integrity, when I went to pick it up, after EIGHT DAYS (and it still wasn’t ready), they wouldn’t give it to me without paying in full. When I refused to pay, they parked me inside the shop so I couldn’t leave. After calling the sheriff to come help me, the owner agreed to release the truck if I agreed in writing to bring it back so they could fix it!! I’m a local small business owner who operates with integrity. I’m happy to pay in full for a job well done. This job wasn’t only poorly done, it needs to be completely redone. I’m always happy to refer other locally owned businesses, but in this case I will warn you…*** DO NOT TRUSTa YOUR VEHICLE WITH THIS SHOP**
Miguel and his crew were very professional, prices were reasonable for window tinting. Overall I had a great experience. I definitely plan to do more business with them they have a variety of services to choose from…
I got my Ferrari wrap at No more basic toys and window tint and it looks amazing. My Ferrari got powder coating wheels . I got a full 3m Ceramic window tint. I’m super pleased with the amazing heat rejection provided with this tint highly recommended. Thanks Miguel for the great work.

This place is amazing, I use to tint windows when I was in high school over 30 years ago and I know how hard it is, but this place makes it look easy, they are fast and the quality is great! I highly recommend SD Power Customs especially to save time. Great staff to and very knowledgeable!
I spoke with the owner over the phone to get a quote and he quoted me $250 for the Wrap on my 2008 Corvette roof and he said it would take about 45 minutes. $400 in four hours later I finally drove out of his facility. . After about a week, I contacted him to let him know that the Wrap was not smooth and glossy like he promised. he told me to wait another week. I just contacted him recently and told him that I wanted the Wrap removed and my money back due to the orange peel condition. He has all been ignored me. You wanna stay away from this business, they don’t care anything about their customers. I belong to three Corvette clubs, and will notify everybody in the clubs and also jump on every social media outlet to let people know to stay away from this business.
I took my car to SD Power Customs to tint my windows and l absolutely love them! It was a pleasant experience, with professional and polite service, and exceptional window tinting skills. I came to SD Power Customs to have my rims upgraded and am pleased with the experience and the final result. I made the drive down from Carlsbad to their location in El Cajon because of their solid online reviews and it was definitely worth the hour drive. I felt they did a thorough job explaining my options and being that I wanted flexibility to change the look in the future, I chose to have them apply the gloss finish Plasti Dip. The rims and final results came out phenomenal. It was a lengthy process (about 6 hours total) but this is merely a reflection of how meticulous the quality of work was. Highly recommend SD Power Customs and will continue to use them in the future!
