We had almost an hour drive and he was good company with his friendly demeanor. After being stuck for two hours it was refreshing to get a worker that wasn’t grumpy and just genuinely happy.

My truck broke down over a holiday weekend and Dick's Towing responded after I made my call to AAA. The driver who showed up, believe his name was Kim, was very friendly and helpful. AAA failed to communicate that I was towing a car on a dolly a when they coordinated for the tow truck. No problem. Dick's Towing got me off the freeway, got both my truck and car-in-tow where they needed to go, and even got the dolly re-attached to my broken truck at the delivery location. Not sure what other folks are complaining about, these guys took care of my situation just fine.
So I failed to write a review the FIRST time Dicks Towing ,Fernando the operator came to save my fiance Selina a few months back but I'm here now to write it because as of now not once but TWICE theyve been there for my family. First Dicks towing sent Fernando at my fiancé's side within 30 minutes ! He was friendly and Diligent. Worked in the baking sun with a smile on his face and trying to figure out what was wrong with our truck while loading it up. I asked if he ever encountered anything that my truck was doing and man is that guy smart. Turns out he knew what was wrong with it ,I changed the throttle body and it's like brand new. Dicks has capable ,smart ,hard working people who care. It really proved that when just Saturday I needed a tow for my audi. AAA unfortunately sent a different towing company and they canceled and never called me when I asked to please call me hours beforehand. Left me and my fiance stranded... had to request another tow. AAA then sent a different tow and boom it was Dicks ,the sense of relief we both got knowing Dicks was on the way was awesome because how Fernando treated us the first time. Within 30 mins ! They were there and none other than Fernando was there again. He called me like I requested on the app as he was on his way to let us know and 5 mins before he arrived. Just classy all around. In times of need Fernando made it easy. Dicks made it easy. Thank you guys. From my family to you. We needed help and you guys took it serious. Not once but twice. I believe you guys are first responders. The road is a dangerous place. People like you make it that much more safe and comfortable. You should be proud of your company and your operators. You guys are class act.
Sandy and Cody were amazing!!! I've never had to get a tow but when I did these fellas pulled through no problems they showed up fast, fair prices, friendly! You guys are my number one towing company when I need it🤘

I used them today, through AAA. The tow operator was really nice, personable, and did a great job. He had knowledge of the area. The guy even ran over to open my door lol. Solid company. I would recommend them for sure. Super cool folks
Super rude and not accommodating at all. They wanted $696 just for towing my vehicle to their lot plus $75 for the storage fee. I couldn't afford that. I arrived 9mins after 5pm and they wanted to charge me $200 just to get my stuff from my totalled vehicle. I only had $103 and asked if I could just get my glasses and they said for $200 nothing less. Since I'm not from the area and I need glasses to drive at night, I decided to stay there over night till they opened. In the middle of the night they called the sheriff on me. I had to move across the street to a gas station. They were very rude to me throughout the whole ordeal
Dick’s Towing came to the rescue; we took our 2003 F150 (mainly used as a ranch truck) up to Mt Laguna to see the snow, and the alternator went out on Sunrise Highways. AAA sent them out to tow us home, and they arrived within the allotted time estimate given by AAA, and our driver Cody was awesome. Friendly, local and very safe. My wife and I rode back with him. Cody delivered the truck to our property and ensured it was dropped right where we needed it, out of the way of our daily drivers. Our experience was exceptional, given we were stuck on the mountain in snow conditions, and we were home within 2 hours of calling AAA. Thanks Cody @ Dick’s Towing for all your help.
AAA tow incident started at 2 am Saturday morning. Expected tow at 3am. No show by 3:30am and contacted AAA for update.AAA unable to contact driver and no updates from dispatch. Cancelled tow and left vehicle on roadside at 4am after no contact or updates to tow eta. False advertisement on website promoting family values and expert towing operations. Left my kid with no roadside assistance in the early morning hours. Luckily, I was able to go and bring my kid home.
I had a great experience with Sonia (did not catch the spelling sorry!!). She was amazing, made sure I felt safe and got where I needed to go. To have a female tow truck driver made me feel so much more at ease with the stressful situation on the road. Real lucky to have her on the road today!!
Terrible service AAA should drop them they don’t have a clue of commitment and time left me stranded 2 hours on the side of the freeway with no follow up. AAA member should contract somebody more professional. Beware
horrible car company all about money that’s why they towed my car to a different place cause of bribe 😂 stupid people wouldn’t recommend in a million years
horrible company have to sue them since we paid them to deliver my car to me and showed up as some people were at my house causeing problems and instead of making sure it got to me they allowed those people to pay to reroute the car to their house and steal my car and now the police are saying it’s a civil matter so i can’t even get it back without going to court
Road rage by this business. Almost just got hit by one of the drivers getting off the exit in alpine. Great way to advertise the business. Especially the middle finger at the end. Not nice
Not from there but its the only game in town its a monopoly. Im sure he runs a legit business but all towing company are LEGAL robbery that run with the permission and help of Law Enforcement. But when visited he was pretty nice and helpful i didnt have any problems.
We had a flat way up on Pine Valley Road. Dexter rescued us with a flatbed truck. He is a consummate professional and was even a pleasure to ride with as he took us and our car into El Cajon.
