Bad company avoid. If you are unfortunate enough to deal with them , they are dishonest. When they tow your vehicle check the invoice -make sure they don’t charge you 1.67x CARS in tow fees in addition to their other fees. I have one car it’s not 1.67 cars SCAM x times your tow fee and storage days.

A driver waited for me to go into my apartment that was no more than 10 ft from where I parked and attempted to take my car, I had been away from the car no longer than 3 mins before I got him with my car up and ready to go. this man saw me close my door and backed his truck up to take my car.. he was being very unprofessional when my wife started taking about the policy that he couldn't produce nor recite. also we had the prices from the tow office and he over charged us to drop my car, he took $180 from me to leave my car this is the second time we were over charged for us to get our car. he also said he had no change for us but after he got of the phone with his boss he was able to give us the change we needed.... I understand that where we parked wasn't right but this man watched me and my family unloading, saw me close my door then try to take my car, I wasn’t even done getting all my groceries out

Towed my car with my dog still inside no signage anywhere which is illegal are literally tryna take your car so you can not find it but the worst part is the fact there driver had no regard to call the humane society or anything only way I got my dog back was after me and many other people called the police and forced them to give me my dog but I see what the write to all these reviews and well see how the feel after getting sued, it's illegal to put a dog or any live animal in a inhumane environment they way they were going to

I don’t think I’ve had a greater disbelieve in my entire life! These ppl are totoal scams! Plz don’t do business with them, I warn you! They will take your money. I paid $619.44 USD!!! Just to take me off the highway to the nearest exit for me to swap out my flat tire. It was either I paid or they’d take my car to their yard. The tow was no more than 5 mins! If I could give negative starts I would.

They picked up my truck in Cabazon last night. The tow driver got the load to Pomona and got me to the motel. Thanks Javier I appreciate all you did!

My fiancé was in a car accident on the 57 freeway so Edwin’s towed the car to Pomona’s tow yard. All of the men that assisted us were honest, respectful, and helpful. We retrieved all of our belongings and had no issues with this company.

This is a horrible towing company to work with. I understand they are hired to help out businesses, property’s, etc., but a lot of innocent people, with little to no funds, are left at the mercy of the most rudest, insensitive, business out there. Car was left less than 2 hours parked for babysitting. Car was towed I guess for not having a permit for the property. I understand they are doing their job and we weren’t intentionally trying to break a rule. It was a misunderstanding on the property details and it was later discussed with the property management company. Main reason for this review is the treatment and getting the car out scam of only having to use Zelle and Cash. No credit card/debit cards accepted. Starting from the dispatch call, rude customer service rep. How do you not treat everyone fairly, no matter what the situation? If your car was towed, your kids car towed etc., you would call a place with concern and questions. Absolutely no reason to train your dispatch to be rude and insensitive when someone is upset or stressed. Not everyone has $600-$1000 to fork out overnight. Not everyone is going to be thrilled to not have a car to go to work with the next day. We are forced to pay a storage fee, even if we found our car towed an hour after the work was done. Your customer service dispatch could at least alleviate some of the stress by acting like they care -even if they don’t! At Edwin’s towing, you get hung up on multiple times. They only accept Zelle or cash and their credit card machine was supposedly broken, until Monday. So again, you are left with an additional $120 storage fee if you wanted to pay by card. Be aware Of where you park so you won’t have to deal with this headache. It really was a costly, unintentional mistake on our part, but to be treated like your money is all they care about and your feelings don’t mean anything, does make this experience sting more. It can ruin your day for sure. Especially when most of your paycheck is going to a mean business. First timers here in this situation and it’s the pits for sure. We also discovered contents were moved around in the car. Photos in the car were moved in other areas of the car. We feel someone was looking in the car for valuables. this is against laws and very unprofessional and dishonest. $600 bill breakdown. $60 storage Impound a night, Private property tow $390, $150 after hours gate fee( unfair charge as they close at 5pm) -we called an hour later to get the car but they were closed. So you are at the mercy and forced to pay an after hours late fee. Nice way to start our Father’s Day weekend. Shame on you Edwin’s. Be a little more kinder, personable to those individuals who need assistance. Not just those who call for a flat tire- all consumers who pay into your running business! No need to hang up and say “Zelle, cash, or nothing!” I read your reviews and there are a lot of hurt, dissatisfied patrons who could have had business with a smile at least! I mean you are charging a significant amount of money here!

WARNING AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! FULL OF THIEVES!!! They will steal ALL of your belongings and give you the run around if you complain. It’s sad that their service was so misleading. At the crash site they seemed okay, but the moment we were finally allowed to take a look at our car we realized the type of corrupt company this place is. They disregard any of your concerns and are very defensive when asked about any missing items. We had gone to the store right before our accident and none of our BRAND NEW ITEMS were found in the car when we visited the towing company. I took video of the car being lifted from the ground and onto the tow truck. I also have several pictures of the crash site and none of our new items fell out while the car was towed. I double checked and scanned the entire area before and after the car was towed. Wondering how the company had the nerve to say they did NOT steal our items, but they were ignorant enough to leave the OPENED WRAPPERS in the car! We have PROOF and I don’t plan on letting this go. I have first hand experience working in customer service and when a customer has PROOF or even a concern they should be heard and allowed the chance to argue their case. I was debating about leaving this review because I’m not one to call out people, but this disappointing review is deserved. Especially after speaking with others that have experienced the same treatment or worse. Take your business elsewhere, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE HAPPY ANYWHERE ELSE. How they have continued to remain in business without being held accountable for their actions is a mystery to me too?

My car was towed by this company last night. I was in a designated area to park with a visible parking pass. I checked it before I got out because I know how Edwin's Towing operates. (This is the second time they towed me.) The rental is registered with the complex and I have had it for over 30 days. Apparently they didn't bother to check their list. I let my complex know what happened but Edwin's wouldn't bring it back and I had to take a Lyft to go and pick it up in the pouring rain at their yard. The only thing I got was "sometimes they make mistakes". Now, the car is damaged from the tow and the sticker is missing from the window. If there was no sticker, I wouldn't have been able to get the car, right? They are a predatory tow company and should be shut down. I'm down for a class action law suit. Anybody want to join? Hit the like button and I'll check back soon.

I'm surprised by the poor reviews. I got a flat tire and they arrived in less than 15 minutes. The driver was courteous, professional, and friendly. I'd absolutely use them again for roadside service!

Having to use either Zelle or cash as a form of payment to retrieve a towed vehicle made me feel uneasy. I understand having to use cash, though I would have felt more comfortable using a debit card instead of Zelle. Especially when it was $510, surprised my bank didn’t block for a fraud alert, that would have created just another inconvenience with this service. The name I sent my payment wasn’t even the name of the “company”, just some random women’s name which was very weird. Felt like I was sending hundreds of dollars to a random stranger and not an actual towing company. It’s obvious any type of car towing situation isn’t pleasant but this company is no help. If you have the option of choosing a towing service, definitely avoid.

Honestly I don't even know what to put about this place, they do not Workwell with people with disabilities no compassion or empathy for those who may need it the most. They stole my car from a gas station after only four hours of being there, I had a flat and had to leave it at the station. 4 hours later they picked up my car and I had to pay $491 when it wasn't even at the station for more than 5 hours but they were charging me for a full day of storage and the tow fee. They illegally took my car and made me pay... I would definitely not ever call this place to tow your car if you need a tow, they damaged my front bumper and scratch the sides of the car both sides. And hopefully they never steal your car from a gas station or any parking lot. This business it's literally the definition of legalized robbery. Please please For the Love of All Mankind do not oh, I repeat do not ever use Edwin's Towing.

I used there service it was fast and efficient. got my truck out. However, I kept asking for an invoice for one week, just nobody takes care of it. I don't know what's wrong with their back office. They could have gotten a 4-5 star but it's just the long wait for a simple invoice request that kills it all.

This company is shady. They do not help people but take advantage of their towing capabilities Drivers roam around and even hide to catch cars not parked properly. As soon as the driver leaves they tow the car right away. I was working and doing food delivery. Apartment did not have available parking so I parked my car on a red zone temporarily. Tow driver did not even tell me anything. He was hiding somewhere and as soon as I left he went ahead and towed the car. Even told me that if I want to claim my car, I need to walk and pick it up. It was late at night and I had to walk for 2 miles to get it. Also, dispatcher gave me a bogus information that they can only release the car if I pay in cash. Credit card will not be acceptable during that time of the day. So, they expect me to come up with $425 in cash. I had no choice but to call my wife to come up with the money so I can continue working that night. What the dispatcher and driver did was they pocketed the money and not tell the owner of the towing company. They insisted cash payment so there will be no records. They are a bunch of crooks and it will come back to them one of these days. KARMA!

My car was towed by this company on February 10th . I was in a designated area to park with a visible parking pass. The police were not notified. They said the pass was fake. It was a pass left by last tenant. I’ve tried to communicate with them 8 times. M about my belongings. They finally answered we don’t have yr belongings never opened your car yet I have a photo from the manager at the park which shows the pass taken outside of my car. I’ve requested an invoice, ignored.they only accept cash, that’s against the law. I Halas over $2000 worth of things in my car because I was moving .they are a predatory tow company and should be shut down California needs to make these predatory tow companies follow the tow laws!! Because of the management at Kings Gardens Mobile Home park contracting this shay tow company and having them tow my car. No warning and she knew it was my car .my life has been ruined. Your company and s a predatory tow company. You only accept cash and that’s illegal! You’ve been saying your credit card machine has been broken for years!

I had a medical emergency and was taken via ambulance to Kaiser Fontana. The next day my husband and I went to pick up our car. The lady there was extremely unprofessional. She demanded my PIN banking card number even though she could have ran it as a credit. She made me sign documents that she refused to give me a copy of. The CHP found an error of $55 that was later refunded. Very unethical company. My total cost was $530!

I’m give this company-5 Eric Gallegos a tow truck driver left my Son on the side of the road. After I called 3 times to make sure the company sent someone out that could accommodate us. My Son had NO cell phone and when he asked the Eric to borrow his to call me he told him he lost it.. Yet he could call me to tell me where did I want the car when he showed up to my house. Eric told me they aren’t t allowed to park it in the driveway. Which is lies. I fully understand that due to COVID there has been some changes. Which I would have just refused service. There are other companies ready willing and able to show some kindness and respect. Also.. their office personal Stacy’s remark to me was she will be paid by Aaa not me.. and hung up in n me. guess what Stacy.. I’llreview every public entity possible. I’ll also see to it you lose your contract with Aaa. My Son had no phone, no wallet (he left it in the car) He had to walk for 9 miles before he could find somebody to let him call me. Not that is matters to anyone, but My Son was at the 210 freeway and Towne in Claremont.. We live in Victorville. Took me 2 hours to find him. Dear ALL Edwins employees heaven forbid your family is ever in a situation and needs help.

Today we are stuck in the mountains, because suddenly it began to snow heavily and the roads were falling asleep. My tires were unusable, I could not go down the mountain due to the sharp turns of the road. I glided along the road even if I applied the brake constantly. I stopped on the side of the road and called this company. They sent a car to pick me up. The driver arrived at the promised time. He was good. He helped us down the mountain. I did not know the prices, I paid as much as the operator told me. It cost 300. I did not want to freeze in the snow with my son. I am glad that they worked during this difficult time, when people should stay far apart and helped me so quickly. Thanks you.

After my Grandma had her car towed, we called up this establishment to retrieve it. The person on the phone was (seemed) nice and let us come in a few minutes after the building was closed. When I arrived, I was TERRIFIED! The place was super getto and I though I would be mugged if I looked away for even a second. Then, our attendant messed up and misinformed us about the transaction (or at least significantly misinterpreted the situation). He emptied my grandma’s bank account, however I later learned this was not entirely his fault. When asked, he “added an extra zero by mistake”. It took a significant amount of frustration to get him to do so much as admit that he was wrong. Because of this person, my sweet Grandma needs a new card! I will sooner go to hell and back than go to Edwin’s Towing. Maybe this not a common theme with this place however? Thankfully , this story ends with this person being apologetic and doing business with us as we would have liked in the beginning. I don’t recommended this, but as I sit in the back of the retrieved Honda Accord , I can see that people can always redeem themselves.

I coordinate repairs all over America for a living. Edwins recently towed an F-550 for me that another tow company failed to pick up 2 days in a row. Not only did they get it to the dealer promptly but after the dealer could not find it. So Edwins sent me pics of exactly where it was dropped. The dealer located the truck exactly when they said the put my truck. Would highly recommend.

Completely rude and unprofessional. Edwins towing took my vehicle because "it was parked in the fire lane" at an apartment complex, when in reality it was in front of my friends garage and I had just gone to drop some supplies off -no more than 5-10 minutes. When I called the girl told me it would be $425. I tried to explain the situation to her but she said if I wanted my car I had to pay because her driver had photos of my car on the fire lane. Upon arriving she gave me the hardest time, I asked to see the photos they supposedly took when they took my vehicle showing it was on the fire lane but the girl refused and instead called her driver for backup who was also very rude- a guy by the name of Daniel- who told me that it's not his problem, that if I wanted my car I needed to pay and hung up on me - no consideration or professionalism whatsoever, mind you it was about 2 in the morning and she did not want to accept any form of payment but cash, telling me if I paid with my card I could call my bank and dispute the transaction, so I had to go find a atm at 2 in the morning, on a Uber ride (more money wasted), overall a horrible experience and if I could give zero stars I would, this company is the biggest scam, looking to make easy money from people at any cost, I'm completely disappointed.
May 17, 2020 -
If I could give zero stars I would. Please avoid this company at all costs! They're awful, my husbands bike was impounded by CHP and at first it seemed as though CHP had things mixed up but really it was just the tow truck driver's shady actions that caused all of the confusion. Anyhow they tried to charge my husband over $650 for a tow that shouldn't have taken more than 20 minutes but they said it was 2.5 hours! Fortunately my husband called CHP watch commander and she ensured he didnt pay such a high release fee, both my husband and his bike are safe at home for $380.
Jul 16, 2021 -
If no stars were possible I would give them that car broke down at 3:30am called them at 3:39am and quoted me and told me it would be about an Hour and Half. Fast forward to 5:45am NO tow truck. When I called and asked about where the tow truck was and how far he told me “about fifteen minutes away” I said okay well I’ve been waiting two hours. He then told me “well if you don’t like the wait time you can call some other company”. I said I’ll wait since your only “fifteen minutes away”. 6:12am guess what no tow truck called again and the lady told me the next driver isn’t here until 7am. I said well I wasn’t told that. She then proceed to tell me the alleged driver had an emergency call. And it would be another hour wait. Shittiest company all the good reviews are lies and that guy should be fired immediately.

We have had to use Edwins Towing services three times in the past 4 weeks. The young men that Edwin hires are always such gentlemen! When we speak with the dispatcher they're very friendly. We've called the office to commend the drivers and the person on the phone is always very pleasant. We did not choose Edwins Towing they were chosen for us by AAA. And we're glad that they did.

I did business with these guys in a different sense than many others may, I "Lien purchased" a vehicle from them. From the moment of first conversation to the moment I left shaking their hands more than once out of gratification of the exchange i was absolutely pleased with them. very cool people I had met there. One was obviously management.Another 2 were office women and then 2 drivers. (Sorry,l don't know the names with my antique memory) I look forward to future business and i am actually advertising their company on our "transaction" at the races this March in Perris fairgrounds. Remember.... play in the dirt no matter how old you are. It makes us young again.....

This morning I called for a tow and they responded to my call. Quoted me 30-40mins. They showed up after 64 mins. I called after an hr and said driver was 5 mins away. (The fact that I had to be the one to call showed me that they don’t care about their customers and keeping them updated) Then the driver shows up. In Upland. I ask if he needs my help or anything and he said he is fine and I can head to Victoria Gardens(drop off) and wait for him there. 20 mins later, I receive a phone call that he cannot get into the car. I drive back to Upland, open car and show him how you turn it on. At that point he tells me he can no longer help me and is going to service another car. I stood there and shock as he said, sorry my dispatcher told me to leave, and then drove off. When i called to complain and speak to manager, she said her driver said the car would not start. So not only do they not care about you, they call you a liar and question your integrity. I would not recommend their services EVER.

This company is terrible in all aspects. Their tow yard was about 9miles from where I was and they told me it was a 45min wait to get a tow to the tire shop. 2 hrs later and still no tow truck and they quoted me $120 for a tow to a tire shop that was around 3miles away. Telephone operator was rude and seemed like he didnt care at all. After waiting 2 hrs I canceled the call and the operator didnt care at all and clicked. Dont ever call them.
