Horrible Horrible experience here I called several days ago and received a quote . Couple of days go by and I didn’t receive a call to schedule the pickup so I called and was able to set a time Friday between 11:00 am and 2 pm I get a call at 11:30 and the woman on the phone said that she would have to cancel my pickup because they only have 1 driver ! So when you opened up today you didn’t see you only had 1 driver so why are you just now calling me? What a waste of time who ever is in charge here needs to be fired or fired everyone no sense of responsibility or accountability and total lack of customer service!

Yes most unprofessional customer service ever worst part is you can’t reach anyone by phone they use a Indian call center

When you go to the website you guys don't have a description of how much it costs for a differential for any vehicle it's not on the list and you can't call because there's no one to talk to. So I'm just saying maybe thats something you guys should work on is add that to the list to make things easier for people

After reading the reviews I’m not surprised. THEY DO NOT CARE OR TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY IF EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE TO CUSTOMERS. My husband went to sell his truck out there. We drove 2 hours to get there because after talking on the phone they were going to give us the best deal for it. He got there and he waited almost 2 hours to get help. In that time a man walked in and offered my husband more money for it. Like I said we drove 2 hours to get there(the truck runs perfectly the only problem was the alarm goes off every other time you open the door) we knew the truck was worth more we were just trying to get rid of it (the only reason we are getting rid of it is because we already have 2 other cars and are military and will be moving next year. It would be a hassle to move all three cars). So he ended up selling it to the man that walked in. The employee working made my husband wait almost 2 hours (lunch and a meeting they said). The employee finally started the process and got the title from my husband. My husband ended up asking for the title back because of a higher buyer. The employee ended up banning my husband and the man that bought the truck from us for life from the location. The employee started getting confrontational and telling them to leave and that it was private property blah blah blah. My husband said he was treated like a felon. The employee was incredibly rude. But after reading the reviews i see they don’t take accountability or care if employees are rude to customers.

Very bad ! Door Glass elevator for 45 dollars! New cost 30 dollars I know is no original but the 45 dollars is used , never coming again to this place is not worth! Amazon sales fast and cheap and you don’t have to work to pull out yourself the parts ,

Talk about nickel and diming on EVERYTHING! They would rather throw things away than to just include them in their posted prices. Employee will look up parts on eBay and charge you more and make up what the part is! Will definitely be filing a BBB complaint that they are false advertising prices. I swear the associates are reselling parts you pull. Hesitate before you leave parts at the desk. They know you already spent the time in the sun pulling the part, and then in their long line, so they know that you will just end up paying or leave the item for them at the counter to resell.

It would be nice if we didn't have to listen to their alarm going off all the time. Why have it if you're not going to check on your building. It even goes off when you're there. It's 8pm and it's been going for an hour now.

Every response to bad comment or complaint comes with a contact us in an email from the owner. Where is accountability For the worst pick part in the high desert. Not only is your staff disrespectful and condescending, Your employee Ryan has the worst attitude I’ve encountered at any business. Honestly, the manager is not far behind as far as nasty attitudes and disrespectful. Any woman that fixes cars should not Come to this place, They’re pretty much disrespectful to everybody, especially women! I guarantee you. I guess your employees forget this is just a pick apart, It’s not a government office where we need to go and I definitely will not be going there again. I’d rather drive down the hill than tolerate Ryan again. FYI, you don’t have to give me the website because I already filed a complaint on your website and with the Better Business Bureau!

Sold my junker car to them. The process was easy start to finish. Great customer service as well over the phone and the tow driver that took my car away.

First time at this location, was happy I got the part I needed for cheaper than what it was listed online but they didn't really explain their policies to me and became rude and confrontational when I was confused about showing my receipt for the part because I asked how much it was and they said $20 so I paid, was not mentioned that there was an entry fee, all the other respectable junk yards don't charge for entry. The only friendly person there was the big guy with face tattoos, he should really be the only one dealing with the customers because he was professional and kind. Good luck to the big guy. Sorry your coworkers are terrible.

I have been a loyal customer of Pick Your Parts for several decades now, Spending tens of thousands of dollars with this company because of an auto restoration business I once owned, and having first discovered the salvage yard back in the 1970s and being a loyal customer at one of their first establishments in Wilmington, CA. I have always appreciated the vast selection of high-quality parts that the business offers, as well as the sense of nostalgia that comes with searching through their inventory in search of rare treasures. One of the positive aspects of my interactions with Pick Your Parts in the earlier years was the consistent quality of the parts that I was able to find. Whether I was looking for a specific component for my classic car or simply browsing for interesting pieces to add to my collection, I could always rely on the salvage yard to have what I needed. Additionally, the staff members were always friendly and helpful, making my visits to Pick Your Parts a pleasant experience. However, in recent years, I have encountered numerous negative reviews and feedback about Pick Your Parts that have made me rethink my support of the business. One of the major issues that has been highlighted by customers is the inconsistent pricing practices of the salvage yard. I have personally experienced this myself, with prices often fluctuating without any clear explanation from the management. This has made it difficult for me to budget for my visits to Pick Your Parts and has ultimately led to frustration and disappointment. Furthermore, there have been complaints about the management practices at Pick Your Parts, with some customers feeling that they are not treated fairly or respectfully. I have witnessed instances of rude behavior from staff members towards customers, which is unacceptable and goes against the values of customer service that I believe are essential for a successful business. Overall, it is for these reasons that I have made the difficult decision to no longer support the operation of Pick Your Parts. I believe that the business has the potential to improve its operations and customer service, but changes need to be made in order to regain the trust and loyalty of customers like myself. One constructive criticism that I would offer to the owners of Pick Your Parts is to focus on transparency and consistency in their pricing practices. By clearly outlining their pricing policies and ensuring that prices are fair and consistent, the salvage yard can build trust with their customers and strengthen their reputation. Additionally, I would recommend that the management at Pick Your Parts prioritize training and development for their staff members to ensure that all interactions with customers are positive and respectful. By fostering a culture of professionalism and customer service, the salvage yard can create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all who visit. In conclusion, while I have fond memories of my early years as a customer at Pick Your Parts, I can no longer support the business due to the negative experiences and feedback that I have encountered. I hope that the owners take my feedback into consideration and make the necessary changes to improve their operations and customer service in the future.

I needed a tool we didn't come prepared with and Heather was out in the lot working and was very kind and helpful

Total ripoff, little Napoleon syndrome cashier intentionally uses vague pricing to overcharge. Make sure you know what they will charge you!!!! They are expecting you to slave and work taking a part off, then knowing you will pay more because of the effort you put in pulling it!! I saw an old man forced to pay $88 for a used 5.3 GM power steering pump! Madness. Only come here if they have a rare part or you need a body section, then prepare to get hosed anyways. Do NOT recommend. Edit: the generic corporate response below is exactly why I will NEVER go to LKQ again. Can't even take a minute to reflect on the MANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS INDICATING THE SAME OR SIMILAR PROBLEMS.

Not a great experience, I strongly RECOMMEND checking the price they are going to charge you before pulling the part. I was charged for walking in, I pulled the part I needed while working in broken glass, and then they want to charge more than it cost on eBay. I spoke with the manager to no avail. Additionally eBay has return guarantee if what you buy doesn’t work, pick your part charges an additional warranty fee.

probably the worst experience ive ever had at a junkyard. The parts and vehicles are what you would expect but up front is run like a run down body shop. The sight manager is a know it all acts and honestly looks like a big overgrown baby. (Big bald guy with no chin) grabbed a part out of my hand and took it to the back said it would take 30-40 mins to verify what the part was as it wasnt what they were trying to charge me for. i ended up leaving. lkq is losing alot of money and customers due to the management. my buddies wont even come down to help pull parts only thing this locations got going for them is the volme of cars.

I've only been a couple ot times at this location, and the parts I grab usually cost less than getting them brand new, as expected if you go to the junkyard and get the part yourself off a used vehicle. Today I went back to finish grabbing a oil pump from a vehicle and assuming it's gonna cost less than paying for a brand new one which would cost around $130, Pick a part Hesperia was trying to charge $350 for the same exact part...idk how you guys are staying in business if you're charging double the price for the same part.

Site manager has auto mechanical knowledge of an average 2 year old. He will charge you incorrectly. Be warned And a bull crap generic response is what they offer.

Pretty big place. Lots of choices. Courteous staff. Going back for more parts. FAST-FORWARD -------> 3 years later, yeah a lot has changed. Charged me for a part that he said was two parts but how could it be two parts of it's one piece you cannot separate unless you cut it apart and end up being useless? So pay attention to what you want to buy and know you might get charged two prices for one piece. Going in and out does feel like being processed for booking. I put two stars cuz the part I needed was there. As for returns here you go....... You don't need an extra warranty for returns. "READ THE FINE PRINT " all over the website. They are a business and this is how they do business. It only feels like they are hustling the wrong way when you don't know what you're walking into.

Like in many of the reviews below said, they literally try to nickel and dime you! I understand it's a business and they have to remain profitable but damn, since when is it more or just as expensive as buying new parts off of the internet! Going to the junk yard used to be fun and a good way to just burn off some stress but today was just ridiculous! 1 visor, I cup holder and a light switch almost 165 dollars. They wanted to charge for the cup holder, the cigarette lighter switch the actual ash tray and the pigtail for the lighter which is alll 1 damn piece what a joke!!! Keep your junk parts!!

Before I went in, the girl in front said nothing about my 4 plastic clips and couple screws that was in my backpack. Went in got my parts and paid for it. Before I left, she saw couple screws and clips and she said I have to pay for it, really? Junkyard used to be fun and economical to fix your car. I have gone to Riverside, Ontario and Fontana. Never an issues. This was my 1st time there and will be my last.

The yard was clean and pretty well organized but that's where the compliments stop. I have been coming to pick ur part since I was a kid I've been to this location, sun valley, Victorville, Monrovia and others. This particular trip was very disappointing. The prices were completely ridiculous especially for having to remove the parts yourself. Not to mention the guys in there treat you like a thief and watch over your shoulder watching you put the parts in your car while holding onto your receipt and then they don't give your receipt back to you. They tried to charge me $48 a piece for some side mirrors off a 2002 Chevy Malibu like really? Don't waste your time coming here

Google should let you rate no stars if possible, this place doesn't deserve not even one star. As the previous customer stated, the young guys at this place are extremely rude, it even feels like they enjoy seeing that you leave the parts that you consider they're overcharging. Come on, a car door $365? They used to be $50. I understand inflation is screwing everybody, but a price jump of 500%?
Mar 05, 2024 -
This place used to be good, Most of the young employees are rude and unprofessional, guys at the counter don't know much when it comes to parts. They charge outrageous prices now. For example guy in front of me buying an old used rocker arm assembly at 430.00 a piece. How does that make sense? Don't go here. Save yourself the aggravation.

Ouch! Decided to stop here instead of going to another salvage yard in Las Vegas because I didn't have time to stop at both. I made a mistake and stopped here and I called it a mistake because they treat everybody like a felon. Every time you go in and out they are searching through your tool bag. If you got a couple screws in your bag you got to get rid of them or pay a dollar for every screw. If you got a part that has hardware that holds that on they want to charge you for that hardware. If you have a part that has a cap on it they charge you for the cap. If you spend in excess of $100 at most salvage yards, they don't nickel and dime you for little things like a screw or a washer or a nut. This place will. Good luck with this and the way you treat your customers.

Just to be easy to get around with the Lkq app, now these place is a caos, before with the app, you search and locate the vehicles you need parts for , go to the lane find the vehicle in the section number where the car is located, now I just find out they mixed the domestic and imports, before domestic they have a section and imports where separated, also trucks and suv, now you have to walk the complete yard to find the vehicle, employees don’t even have an idea, lots of inventory, bring your tools, or ask for help to the guys with the dolly’s they removed for you for a fee, LKQ management please sort the vehicles by imports and domestic

LKQ as a whole is not on my favorite list every since they've gotten rid of their rewards program (literally overnight), started tacking on their automatic warranties, and increased their prices across the board at all locations ...but this was pretty good visit this time. Lines were not long, but typical at this location. If you see something you want here don't wait too long if it is a rare or newer vehicle. I drove an hour and a half and somebody beat me on something that just popped up yesterday. If you get the alerts from the website and include multiple locations you can occasionally find the ultimate come up. The guy at my check out was super cool and didn't try to nit pick every item. This location is rarely crowded so usually there will only be one or two people in line to check out. Don't forget to get the stock number or they won't let you check out. You can find it online though, but you have to look at the vehicle on that specific location's site. And you have to remember to tell them NO WARRANTY unless you want it because they automatically tack it on the price because they know most people won't know or will forget to ask.

It's to (HOT) to open at 9:00 am But they do. The websites showed the car had the part's I needed and I drove 100 miles 50 up and 50 back. Parts were gone They should update the picture's they keep track of what's sold . A waste of my time .
