Rude, do not do service with them. They cancel my call without letting me know. Called dispatch to see my updated dude stating his driver did not want to towed my car because the guy had face tattoos…. Wow once I asked for manager he said they were not there on weekend and hung up the call.
Husband and I got stuck stupidly on a small dirt hill. Waited 5 hours and got fed up with insurance. Called over and the gentleman was nice calm, and worked with me because I have a low income. He has great knowledge of the area so he knew exactly were is was. He came in 15 min!!. I recommend you call these first and just get repaid by your insurance. Your will be saved a lot faster!
Grant was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He knew just what to do and had me unstuck in an expedient amount of time. Great job, great company… highly recommended
Lost trailer lights in route to my customer just at dusk. After a failed attempt to trouble shoot and fix myself, Grant came to the rescue. I been a triple A member for many years never had a problem with towing services until they decided to be in contract with the worst towing service at the high desert. I was stranded for more than 3 hrs didn’t care to provide updates. I called the towing service directly to get an update, they estimated two more hours on top of the already three hour wait, the lady who answered the phone call was very rude. It Is so sad that AAA has contracted them as their only towing service. I do not recommend this company at all, very unsatisfied customer.
I work for Jb Hunt today. I had a breakdown. Grant showed up within 15 to 20 minutes . I was very impressed with his knowledge on diesel mechanics. He tackled the job immediately and had me back in the road. Great job Grant take care.
Schedule an next day pick up with Scott. They not show up and when i call back a lady said no way she send their truck to pick up my car, it have to be another next day and if i have a problem they don’t care. Not recommended!!!
I was unexpectedly sidelined on the shoulder of I-40. My discharge air line blew. Grant was the technician sent out to help me. He ended up making a 3 hour drive to pick up the part I needed, and of course installed it in +110° weather. I don’t usually do reviews, but his work was exceptional. Grant was informative, and efficient and helped me salvage the rest of my day.

Officially my worst towing experience ever. They were assigned by AAA at 6 pm and never communicated with us and failed to show up for 6 hours. Despite numerous promises made to AAA. We had to hire a seperate driver to get home and arrange with a different company entirely. I would never call them.
Thank you Grant for driving all the way out to figure out where the air leak was coming from on my trailer and fixing the problem. It allowed me to get back to my work facility without incident. You thought outside of the box got me back up and running. With that I greatly appreciate your service.

Was having problems with my trailer brakes and had to pull in to a rest area. So my company called up this company and they sent my road hero Grant. This young man was very Courteous, Polite and professional. He assessed the situation and knew right away what the problem was. He fixed it in about 20 minutes and I was able to get On my way. Due to his knowledge and expertise, I was able to make my delivery appointment. Shot out to Grant and keep up the good work!!
These people are CROOKS! and absolutely Rude! They did nothing to help when my car was stuck in mud on a dirt road. They went up on the price twice. They knew I was desperate and played on that. I Will NEVER do business with them!!! Don’t come to them!
I was stuck in a pretty bad situation to where my Bronco broke down in the middle of a busy street. I contacted AAA, and they contracted G&M Towing, in order to have my vehicle towed and get me out of the jam that I was in. Not only did G&M exceed AAA's response time by at least ONE hour, but the tow truck driver, Tony, was very professional and precise when towing my precious baby! I've had some pretty bad Towing experiences in the past, however in this situation, G&M totally came through! Great job guys! Keep up the excellent work!
They were just doing their job... The guy was patient and kind in explaining the enormously scary amount of dollars we had to spend, went out of his way to help us try to start the car, and stayed until AAA came to pick up our car. It was a recovered stolen car, and damaged. Still cost a whole lot! But not a terrible experience thanks to the staff in the office.
G and m was contracted to tow my truck today. The driver that showed up was probably the best tow truck driver I’ve ever had, and I’m a mechanic of 20 years, I know plenty of them.
He called before he arrived, he arrived early. Took great care of my truck. Plus he was friendly and actively cared about what was wrong with my truck. This man has a heart for people and one helluva driver.
You folks have a good man on your hands with this driver. I hope y’all take care of him. Thank you again for the great service and have a good day.
Had to get a couple toes from G&M, the best part was how fast they were and by the time they arrived the drivers were super friendly. Which both of them got a decent tip. I personally was a ex-tow truck driver and I always made sure the customer got what they needed. And at G&M that’s what they do! Thanks again G&M!
This tow company is excellent. They did run a bit late but kept me informed the whole time. They treated me and my Harley trike with great respect. I so wish I could remember the drivers name, because he was kind, considerate, and was very gentle with my Harley trike.
I would recommend G&M towing to everyone. I would have given them 10 stars but it only lets you do 5. Thank you so much to G&M and thank you to the wonderful driver.
I am so grateful to G&M Towing & Recovery in Hesperia, CA! My son was volunteering about 20 miles from G&M Towing. He went to get large tanks of water refilled for the camp and the weight of it apparently made the car he was driving dig into the sandy shoulder dirt road and he was stuck in a hole. We couldn't find any other company to either answer their phone (and a few advertised 24 hour) or really want to rescue him with a winch without knowing his exact location which was difficult as the road turned into a dirt road to a camp. 2 other volunteers left the car and one got lost in the heat of the day!! My son stayed with the car along with another lady who had health issues that would be exacerbated. I thought I had found someone to get the car back on the road when I called Visa Roadside Dispatch but after waiting for hours and never getting the text I was told I would get and calling back several times.. ...they were not able to find a tow truck either. I then called G&M and thank God a human answered immediately, Alyssa, she was so helpful and genuine. She took charge calling my son for details to access what was the best plan. The towing man with the winch finally pulled the car out of the hole at 2am!! They had been stranded all day in the heat! What a blessing to be reassured by Alyssa as I am across country on the East Coast. Thanks so very much!
I sure was great to find out that G&M takes my ARI fleet card. I thank they no more about fleet issues than any other shop in the High Desert. The work preformed was no easy task, and it turned out perfect. friendly and professional. They truly earned my return business.
Never have I experienced such horrible service. The initial quote and timeline was acceptable so I decided to proceed with the repair. Once the initial timeline came I called and they still had not started the repair. Once the repair commenced the initial quote almost tripled. I kindly asked to put the vehicle back together and would pay them for the time spent. After several days and phone calls later I finally got my vehicle back.
I ended up going to a secondary mechanic who completed the repair within the agreed timeline and price. I would never, ever give this place business.
I went on a recommendation from a friend. While in the lobby waiting for my turn, I noticed the staff was extremely friendly towards the two customers ahead of me. I was very impressed with the way they treated the customers. Once it was my turn the employees persona changed for the worse. I don’t know if it was because of my race or because I was not a familiar face.
Stay away people.
We have had our 70 Chevelle, along with our 68 Camaro, and a motor home towed in the past. We were extremely pleased with the we were treated throughout the entire process. We have had both Mondo and Tim tow the Chevelle to various locations, and we were pleasantly surprised with how careful the were with them. G & M Towing is a great company who we are happy to have done business with.
