Bought a transmission for my 18’ Outback, transmission ended up leaking oil in different places after I got it installed so I had it fixed, transmission ended up having major issues once I put it on the road and when I went to return it they didn’t accept the return
Done a ton of business with them before and they still didn’t accept the return on their bad product
Won’t be coming back which is a shame
This Guys are a rip off, I'm calling from a Shop because saw they have the part listed on CAR-PART.COM for $290.00, and the guy try to sell it to me for $450.00, when I told him he says no, then asks for VIN to verify but all the ones listed are $290.00, so he just said , no is $450.00 , keep away from this place .
I called to ask if they had a hood available, and the guy that answers the phone was rude he said no. I just wanted to confirm, because on their website it said they had one available and the guy just hung up on me mid conversation. Never coming here, STAY AWAY!!!!

They didn't have what I needed but the guy inside was nice enough to search for the part I was looking for and found it for me elsewhere where I just had come from and they said they didn't have it cause the other place was too lazy to look. But he helped me get it. Thats more than most people do.

DO NOT BUY ANY PARTS FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. LOOK AT ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS! They promise on their website that their Transmissions are well maintained, inspected and come with a warranty. These are all lies. I paid them $1000 for a transmission for a customer's car and assigned the job to my most experienced mechanic. He installed the transmission on the car and the customer picked up the vehicle only to have it towed back to the shop two days later complaining of not shifting.
Our customer was in need of his vehicle so we had to purchase a different transmission from a different company and it worked like a charm. No problems our customer is happy. When we called these guys they said they would send out someone to pick up the transmission. When he arrived to pick it up, he claimed they would need to take the transmission back to their JUNK yard and "inspect" it then only refund my $1000 after inspecting it. RED FLAG #1. So we decided to deliver it ourselves to their junkyard 60 miles away. When we did they took the transmission somewhere out of sight RED FLAG 2 and made us wait in the heat for a long time with no communication as to what is going on. They could care less about their customers. One guy emerged a short time later and claimed that we opened the valve body and they refused to give us a refund??!! WhAAAT? I told them nobody did that why would we do that but they did not care. They claimed to have found bolts in the oil pan but never showed me any bolts. Another lie. They did not offer me a replacement part, a warranty repair nothing. They are crooks and are scamming honest businesses and individuals with their crooked business practices. I will take them to court to retrieve the $1000 for the part not to mention all the time and hassle installing and removing and delivering a known busted transmission. Do not buy the part is not going to work and they are not going to refund the money. This is what they do.
I drove 150 miles round trip only to be told that the $2400 axle that they told me would fit my truck, would not fit.
They told me that they did have the right axle for my truck but it had 200,000 miles on it and that they wanted $4000 for it. They did offer to lower the price but I declined.
If they lie to you once, they’ll do it again so I figured I’d cut my losses.
Find a more reputable business to deal with. I had been warned and now I see why.
Purchased a used motor. Advertised 8,417 miles on it. Drove 6 hours to pick it up. Mechanic installed the motor only to find the intake valves had rust and debris pushed into them. The number four cylinder had only 60 pounds pressure. Useless. Asked to trade it for another one they had but they said no to a trade. I even offered extra cash but they said no guarantees and it's "as is". In my mind they are not trust worthy and would not stand by the way they represented the engine.
Fast guys on staff ,Tom is a good sales guy and the mechanics in the back are fast. I was told that it will take 20-25 minutes for my idem to be removed but it was removed in 10 . Reasonable prices , it was worth it for me to drive from L.A . Good experience!
Wouldnt recommend to anyone. They want top dollar for messed up parts and they offered to help load my purchases and they just left me to do it my self half way through the process.
I called ahead that I had to drive 1.5 hours. They confirmed they had the door and was A1 condition. When I arrived they refused my check and credit card so had to drive to the bank and wait 30 minutes in line for cash. Then I go to pickup the door and it has been in a fire and was burnt so could not be used
I ordered part and they deliver deference one and when I call they said we will call you later, then they said bring it. I have to pay for the mistake they did. Don’t buy from them, it’s a matter of luck to get good service not a matter of professional.

Ordered Engine! we agreed on $900 and in 4 days it would be ready. Finally after 3 weeks the engine arrived at $1100!

Really bad service I was asking the guy about some parts for my truck and the guy just said that I don't know over and over that I don't know then I told him I seen a posting online that they put that they had a truck just like mine for parts and he said that I don't know we probly sold it already so after talking to them I called pic a part the lady was really friendly she got on the computer right away and found me all the parts I need
Ordered a part on a wednesday and was promised a next day service is Tuesday of followin week no part yet.. They just keep stalling. Bad customer service all around
These people are a full scam, they sold me a nissan altima taillight that i need to finish up my car, received the item they shipped out, once I opened up the box found it was broken something that i was not hoping for, Danny at american dismantling said the item is in great condition without any scratches or cracks, yet he lied to me! called to get my refund for the broken item he said "i would need you to ship the item back" and said "the shipping is not covered" and another $25 just to ship the item back? whattt? you guys are a joke and should learn what the true definition of customer service means. I am very disappointed!
I don’t really leave reviews but I had to comment on this business. First of all horrible customer service ! Just opened a collision center thinking they would be easy to order parts from but I was wrong. Called about a part of it was available and they just hung up, then went in person and they said they can’t help me? But they posted a ad on offer up a day ago? Drove away and seen the car that I needed parts from in the back next to a front clip of a Honda Accord I believe it was ready for a core support replacement. Needless to say went down the block and found another business and bought everything I needed and I’m going back tomorrow and probably every other day! Try other dismantlers around the area before this one
Terrible customer service. Asked for a simple picture of a part as I live two hours away (part was listed as undamaged, just wanted confirmation) and was told they "don't waste their time on a $350 part." Have called other dismantling yards and they gladly did it for me for parts half the price.
These guys really went the extra mile for me! I drove 700 miles to get a front clip for my lexus. I didn't bring a trailer and have a new nice truck. They really went above and beyond to make sure i didn't damage my truck loading the clip on top. The employees were all very friendly and i wish i could have bought them each a beer! Thanks for the extra help and the great price.
