Old Guy limited English was rude yelling at me bc I put the basket on the scale and it only had 5 plastic containers saying I break the scale ?!? Sorry I only recycle what I use I don't have a trash bag full other than that usually good experience except won't take those small yakult type yogurt containers
Watch when the worker adds up your weight. I had 4 orange containers of plastic and the last 2 was 9lb average. Somehow I only got 24lbs of plastic payout.
This place is dishonest. If you feel that you have been cheated, contact the Weights and Measures Department for the County of San Bernardino. They will investigate with an undercover agent.
I’ve always had a good experience here. The lady is really nice and friendly. I’ve always been nice and friendly when I approach the workers there and they treat me with the same respect. The job they do is not glamorous and they sit in the hot sun all day so I definitely feel like they are doing a tough job and I appreciate having them here. All the other recycling places in Chino Hills closed down. Do they pay what the recycling is worth? I don’t know for sure. I know that sometimes I have a lot but get paid less than the previous times but it’s not just about the money it’s about doing our part as humans and trying to recycle and reuse as much as we can.
I use the place regularly I at one point I believed I was been cheated but after asking the lady she explained the weights of the different containerrs. After being shown my folly I felt really bad . So I'm giving a4 for there convince patience and most of the very fast and helpful bringing me baskets and helping me carry them to scale.
Lady that runs the business blatantly lowered my weight of every item weighed, when I confronted her she told me she’ll give me what I deserve but won’t buy from me again. Don’t go here she well rip you off
SCAMMERS I went here once because it’s the closest to me and I had to make 4 trips. I did not come back after the first trip and I went somewhere else, and CAR FULL is usually ~20 depending on if there’s a lot of aluminum. They paid me 14 dollars and some change. Absolute RIP OFF. wish I read the reviews before I came here ! GO ANYWHERE ELSE
