Quoted a price that was more than retail "IF" they have the part. What does "IF" mean? Either they have the part or not. IF my uncle had pedals and handlebars he'd be a bicycle. Haha, guess I'll order a new part and save money..
I don't know what happened with Google but it deleted my comment. But I'm taking more time out of my day to make sure a good review gets posted about this place the experience the customer service was above satisfactory the custom work and the brain of the installer was amazing the way he processed the two pieces and combine them together as one. Perfect install my bike's a DRZ400 2021 it came in with no scratches happy to say it came back with no scratches and a perfect install and this was not just a bolt on install he had to modify bend cut and install these pieces to make them work as one. Super excited you guys thank you.
Although only my first time there, I had an awesome experience, the 2 guys that helped me were friendly and polite !! I left there with the parts I needed and a big smile on my face, definitely going back.
Very good at what he does.now who ever said bad costomer sevrice is wrong it a salvage yard for bike.you would not be the if you hade lots of moey so save a little and get what thay mivht have for your needs
I've been to Neanderthal a few times for tires and parts. Each time I have been met with kindness and courtesy without flaw. The front of the building, inside, is fairly small but where it all counts, in the back, is a huge labyrinth of parts and professional know how.
In fact, my visit yesterday, to discuss an engine swap was very good. Even though I was fighting myself and my mask to ask questions the staff was very patient and extremely helpful and fast with all answers.
While I was there a guy brought in a smashed Fireblade and was immediately assisted by the owner who came from the back to go out front to assess the repairs or salvage... what a great guy what a great staff. Thank you Neanderthal!!!
I think they're great and Marks always helpful whenever I deal with him. I definitely think it's worth checking out to see it for yourself and form your own opinion.
Great place to buy they had the Rare Back Tire rim and inner tube for my 1988 50 cc Honda Elite SE the tire had Air in it already that was cool that saved me 10 to 15 minutes from fixing the tire if it was flat i would had brought two tires from them that was the only one they had at the time Great customer service the lady from the front countier and all Employees was very Great and Helpful i will be Buying from them if i need scooter parts in the future I recommend Everyone in the Inland Empire to buy from this place the the tire was only 40 dollars way cheaper than Amazon and online a rim and tire would have cost about 150 all together online
Great place went in looking for a part that would have taken over 4 weeks to get if i had ordered it online but instead it took 5 minutes for them to find it and it was a little cheaper good people i will definitely be going back if i need any more parts.

-UPDATE- I came in late towards closing, employees were as thoughtful in person as they were on the phone. I purchased a carburetor that was approximately 50% of the cost on a new unit from EBAY, and far less than other 'Yards' I've been talking to.

Came in with a great positive attitude. Left perturbed, owner apparently does not converse with his clients. Only tells his employees the total rip off prices, then I'm told docks the workers pay if they provide actual customer service by offering a fair price. Illegal by the way....report him if you work here and he does this. Stay clear of this toxic place and buy your parts on ebay cheaper. Not worth the visit.
I went there last week to find some parts for my ride and they didn't have them, no bigge. Yet after I left I went to do some shopping only to realize I lost only the one keyring that had all the motorcycle keys on them and not all of them ???? It took me awhile to get back there but somebody found them outside and turned them in at the counter and they freely gave them back, Wow Thank you so much and God bless you and the people who found them , Thank you Michael A.
I called for parts for Yamaha 600 sport bike the women who took my call has no idear about parts then she disconnected me . I call back I Waite 5 minutes and she telling me about a part I didn't ask for big waste of time .
Give me a break, this guy was something else. Won't return a call to save his life and then was the least helpful person I've come across in a LONG time. Don't waste your time...
Best place mechanic and best prices around town. My chain came off and broke the pushrod, seals, sprocket cover, master clutch cylinder. Called other places and everyone was to busy to take my bike the same day and there Price's were at least 50 to 75 dollars more then what I paid with them. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Excellent service don't go by reviews experience it yourself. Professional,knowledgeable, pleasant. A great customer service in a very long time. Idk about other people experiences but when a manager is in the front ensuring things runs smoothly and the manager handles the transaction you know things are good. Maybe the reason he can't answer the phone is because management is handling everything else.
Super over priced parts and the customer service is horrible and it looks dirty inside ,looks like homeless people live there cluttered and junky inside does not even look like a place of business it looks more like a recycling yard or something... This place needs work BIG TIME
Extremely dissapointed. Ordered a part two weeks ago that my mechanic tracked down for me. Called them to get payment processed, which they happily did. I called today to find out why part hadnt been recieved, they said they didnt have one, and were hoping to find one.
...
So no phone call, nothing, just accepted my money so they could look for a part they already "sold" me. Had I not called, I assume they would have just kept my money. Now to see how much an arm and a leg this refund is...
What ever you don't try to call of send an email, they don't respond to either! I guess they are independently wealthy, so customer service is NOT a priority!
They really give Neanderthals a bad name! This place is an evil dump, and as far as I saw, in two visits, nobody there is working on any bikes. A guy there accepted my bike for repair and told me, "I'll call you tomorrow with the diagnostic results": Three full weeks later, nobody had even begun checking it. When I got it back finally, un-checked and un-repaired, it was filthy and the seatcover was damaged.
During those three weeks, the shop was unavailable by telephone, at all, most days I tried--not even a recording. When I did reach them by phone, the only person who ever answered was Thelma, who spoke very hostilely in response to the very first question I asked when I called. I found her very prone to misunderstandings in the most basic oral communications (like, explaining why they accepted my bike for repair and then kept my bike for three weeks without doing anything), and so eventually I asked to speak to anyone else there, but she said nobody else would come to the phone.
The only reason I took my bike here is that a trusted auto mechanic, a friend of mine, referred me. I lost a lot of trust in him for this harmful referral. Under no circumstances should anyone attempt to do business with Neanderthal Cycle.
OK, i bought from them before i check reviews and i'm so glad i did. I hit a pothole on my bike and needed a replacement front wheel, new price was a joke and of the 4 used parts dealers i could find that had a match, Neanderthal was by far the cheapest and included the most attached accessories. After reading all the negative reviews i was concerned. I had the wheel assembly dropped shipped to my dealer since the bike was there and they misplaced the package, so after a week and a half I contacted neanderthal and they gave me the tracking number which showed delivered, cool. another call to the dealer, the wheel was found and installed same day. so, the end result, a perfect replacement wheel with rotors and bearings for way less than anyone else wanted for just the wheel. Fast delivery, the wheel was exactly as described and in perfect shape. I won't deny they're kinda hard to get in touch with, they don't always return calls or emails and that is a problem but in the end i got what i needed, fast and in great condition, thanks guys. Kinda makes me wonder about all those other reviews.
