  Avoid This Business – Untrustworthy and Unprofessional I strongly advise against doing business with San Benito Auto Wreckers. My mom purchased a transmission from them for $900, and after paying another $1,200 to have it installed at a local shop, we discovered it was faulty. According to their website’s warranty policy, we should have been able to return it for a refund or exchange—but that was not the case. I had to call multiple times a day for two weeks, constantly getting the runaround before finally obtaining the owner’s number (Jacob). When I spoke with him, he was unhelpful and dismissive, claiming their policy was to replace the transmission first and only offer a refund if they couldn’t find another one—which is nowhere stated on their website. When I pointed this out and requested a refund, he flat-out refused. When I told him I would take legal action, he said ok, and hung up on me. When my mom called, Jacob was incredibly rude, again refusing the refund and hanging up on her as well. This business does not stand by its policies, lacks basic customer service, and seems comfortable taking people’s money without accountability. If you want reliable parts, honest service, and a company that actually honors its policies, avoid this place at all costs. Save yourself the stress and shop somewhere reputable. FYI the transmission was purchased on 2/11/25 So still under warranty, according to the policy.

  I purchased a transmission from Ramon, he delivered it to the shop, after it was installed the shop said that the transmission was not good. My son called the shop and they offered to get another one, the shop charged me $1200 to install and uninstall the bad transmission why would i want another one from them. My son has called at least 10 times to get a refund and kept getting the run around and threatened to take them to court. I called and spoke to Ramon who directed me to Jacob the owner to ask for a copy of the warranty where it states they they have to try and find me another transmission before they can issue a refund, he was extremely rude and said he had talked to my son and there was nothing he could do for me and hung up. I am now pursuing legal action and calling the police due to them selling bad parts and not issuing a refund even when their website says they have a 3 month warranty on parts. Jacob my son's name is Augustine, you responded to another bad review and I think you got the wrong person because you mentioned him and his mother. You can't even get your clients straight. Too many that you defraud.

  I bought an auto part from this place. I took it to my mechanic who said that (it’s the wrong piece. He called the Junkyard and told him. The manager said we can return it). I returned it and he said he would issue a 270$ refund and never did. I called my bank to contest and he lied about the whole thing and fabricated a story and I never got my money back. I had the worst experience in my life at this Junkyard. The manager is a liar and money hungry. Be careful when you shop there. I’ll never forget or forgive this thug.

  You looking for used parts at a reasonable price , Then I recommend you go else where, This dudes are straight scavengers everything's over priced and as far as customer svc I've dealt with this clowns and you've have better svc and attitude from inmates at the local jailhouse do my recommendation to all my local people here is go outta town cause this business isn't worth anyone time or money P.S I only rated then one star fact being it was the only way to leave a comment other then that I wouldn't give me not one half a star!!
