ALSO, don't think your best deals are online only, Ron hooked me up w/ quality cap, rotor, wires & plugs for the same as the online "discount" house minus 44$ in shipping. I prefer local & thank God THIS Carquest is in our neighborhood.
I recently bought a transmission from these guys in October of 2021. Moveras was the vendor they use to rebuild them. I did have the transmission professionally installed. The transmission gave out on me 9 months later in July 2022. At first i thought no problem as it should be under warranty since it was in the first yar and also I purchased a new transmission cooler from Carquest as they recommended. When I brought this up to carquest they told me there is nothing they can do and to contact Moveras. That is what i proceeded to do. I called every day for and after the 5th day calling, I finally was able to create a claim ticket where I was told they would call me back. Another week goes by and no one contacts me. I did call them again and and kept getting the same answer that someone will call me back. I was of my vehicle for two weeks at that point with no income and decided to get it fixed since I had documented everything and there was clear proof in the report the transmission shop gave me and the video log I have that showed the failure was due to the techs Moveras used to rebuild it used the wrong parts.
I sent the video in to Moveras and that is when they finally decided to contact me regarding this claim, except it was to inform me that because I took it apart and did work on it without them giving me the green light that they are no longer liable for any warranty work. Carquest claims they cant do anything about this.
Stay away, its a scam. I feel as if their strategy is to ignore you in the hopes that you wont wait weeks for them to look into it at the hope that they have a reason to deny your claim.
I do all my business with these folks now they always have what I need for a reasonable price and if not they will have it in the store usually same day or by the next day
