A car went out thursday (i asked worker when it was put out) i seen it saturday was working on it until closing came back monday morning because your not open on sunday. stupid. guess what the rows are gone asked a worker they said we crushed them already. smh . So cars only stay 3 days tops !? just close like the antelope yard lol
I used to go here all the time and the appeal of this place to pick n pull was you can walk in for free. Now they charge you $4 just to come in. I guess pick n pull or online is the way to go now.
November 2024 NOW $4.00 entry fee. Way less cars, no dates when the car was put in yard or year & model on cars. Prices raised, $10 part now $14. Inventory list on their site is all wrong and the cars listed aren't even there. Can still find some good parts.
Horrible yard, they charge a 4$ entry fee there parts are almost more expensive then buying brand new. You might as well just go to pick and pull they’ve always been better and are now officially way cheaper. They “revamped the yard” and by this they mean they got rude employees and added a fee and upped their prices and didn’t change there website.
The yard is not worth going to anymore they have very minimal amount of cars and stopped stocking cars older than 2000 and are now changing way to much with $4 entry fee and nearly doubling their prices of what’s stated on their website. Stick with pick n pull it is cheaper entry and cheaper parts and has nearly 6 times the amount of cars.
Terrible yard, they charge a higher admission than the pick n pull down the street and have less than a quarter of the stock. Their prices for parts are twice as much as what they say they are on the website. Just stick with pick n pull, they have cheaper admission along with lower prices for parts and way more inventory
Came the other day to find out that admission is now $4?! The worst part is that the online inventory DOES NOT match with what they have in the yard…which is basically NOTHING. Paid $4 just to walk and not find the cars that were supposed to be there.
Don't go here if your looking for anything GM cars. They don't have and online inventory checker and my trip was a complete waste of time. I didn't see a single GM car in the yard. Trucks and SUV yes... No cars of any GM
Love the free entry into the yard, love the staff, love the setup, love the map they give you so you can find all the cars that might have the parts you need! This place will always be my #1st and only choice. Never going to pick n pull again. Pick n pull got greedy over the years. Can't beat planet Auto prices for sure
Decided to go there on a Saturday for one of their sales and they were posting up a car that day that I needed parts from. I got there pretty early and there were about 3 Mexican guys in front of me. I'm waiting in line with the rest of the people behind me for a good hour. as it got closer to opening. A Ukrainian man and his two sons show up and say that he pay for his line in spot, he's basically saying he paid the Mexicans guys in the front line to cut them. At this point the people and me who were waiting in line for 1hr got pretty mad about it. we brought it up to the staff and they say it's allowed and they let it happen. It seems pretty unfair their staff let this happen so whatever everyone lets it slide. A couple mins go by and then 10+ more Mexicans show up to cut the front of the line. at this point it seems pretty absurd and soon an altercation arises about the line cutting cause it was ridiculous, when I got there I was about the fourth in line and now 15+ people are in front of me now because they cut the person in front of me. Now the Mexicans and the Ukrainian guys were threatening to hurt us so at this point we just let it slide because it was going to turn into a fight if we didn't.
This all seems like an inside job with the staff letting the line cutting happen. it's not like the people that cut the lines were there in the first place. people waited for hrs for them to open and when it's time to open 10+ Mexican show up to cut the line with the 3 Ukrainian guys who where very aggressive and angry cause they were confronted about cutting the line. why even announce to the public if your setting new cars on Saturday, this place should just let all those people who cut in line have it cause it looks like that's what just end up happening anyways. don't waste your time here on a Saturday. because there won't be anything left even if you were the first in line you will end being 16th in line when they open.
I can NOT say enough about Planet Auto....first off the fact that you don't have to pay to get into the yard only to find that the part you need isn't there....(like the other guys)....is AMAZING....also the cleanliness of the yards, (my wife and I have been to two since we found them by accident), is so very appreciated....the best accidental discovery in the history of....EVER....thanks Planet Auto!!!! You've DEFINITELY created two more lifelong customers!!!! Oh yeah and the maps of the yard and detailed location receipt just makes it that much more convenient!!
I came here to buy parts and tires at 3:52 pm and one female employee told me that they are CLOSED when the store hours stated 4 pm. The employees don’t like their job and wanted to go home early. She told me they are closed at 3:30 pm. I been here many times after 3:30 pm. I am very upset at the employees for closing early and lie to me.I wasted gas to drive here from 30 minutes away and to go home empty handed. I wish these employees get fired.
Free admission! Awesome selection of vehicles and variety of choices. Friendly and very helpful staff. Great prices and always willing to help a guy out. Oh yeah did I mention, free admission!?!?

Best laid out pick your part place. From the moment you enter in you know this place is different. Give them your make and model and recieve a map and a row placement of just that. I found some great parts for super inexpensive. Very fast checkout service and even a drink cooler to quench your thirst. Bring your own tools and gloves and make an afternoon of it
So far Planet auto is the best Self-Service auto wreckers ever. The people are nice that work there, the inventory is perfect it's just a great place to go to even when I don't want to get any parts I just like walking around sometimes
Best staff I've ever experienced at any salvage yard, Robert the Manager takes the time to great and help every customer and goes beyond what a Manager should do. I won't go anywhere but there because I know that I would be let down by the other salvage yards. Keep it up planet auto. Hans Van Rooy
Waaaaaay better than pick n pull......way better prices, quality of the vehicles to pull parts off of. More complete vehicles. No trash or tweekers running amuck through the yard......yet.
This place is AWESOME my girlfriend and I were greeted at the door everytime we walked in. The staff was very kind from the front desk to the employees walking outside. Every employee told us to have a nice day. Before we entered the yard the front desk clerk told us they have water and restrooms available. Yard was very clean and organized. We bought a door srtiker and a small section of hose off a water pump. The manager said we can just take them. I offered to pay at least $5 but they insisted we just take them. We were so impressed with this place and their staff we will definitely return. They also have a list of prices for all parts so you know what you're paying before you get to the counter
P.S. the lobby was well air conditioned and felt amazing after walking in the heat.

No entrance fee. Price is if not cheaper than other places or same price. Too bad limited integra cars and no access on where the specific car is at. You have to look for it.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great selection of cars and parts in yard. Prices were more than reasonable. Much cheaper than any pick n pull or ipullupull. Best yard in sacramento hands down. Will definitely be back again!
