I I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience at this O'Reilly Auto Parts location, directly caused by incompetent management and conflicting advice. Last night, I brought my car in to have the battery tested. The initial employee tested the battery (which is only a couple of years old and it was purchased O'Reilly Auto Parts) advised me to remove it from the car, and then bring it back in so the battery can be recharged. This was already an inconvenience, but I followed their directions. Today, I brought the battery back in only to be told the exact opposite. A different employee (or perhaps the manager, who was clearly unhelpful and transporting new employee on testing my battery) claimed that their testing tool "wasn't reading correctly" yesterday and that they could not recharge the battery as previously promised. Instead of offering a solution, they immediately jumped to telling me I needed to buy a new battery right there and then. This is completely unacceptable. The manager/store provided conflicting, useless advice that caused me to waste time and effort removing and transporting a heavy battery for no reason. This lack of consistency, poor tool maintenance, and rush to simply sell a new, unnecessary part rather than honor their previous instructions shows a complete failure of service and incompetent management. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Would NOT RECOMMEND buying battery from them!!
This is a great Oreilly location! The assistant manager Michael was super helpful! As a female presenting human going into auto shops can be intimidating! Michael was informative and helpful without making me feel like I was incompetent! I was able to change a part right in the parking lot, they have a great tool cart with everything I needed!! If I’m ever in need and in the area I know where to go!! Thank you!!
O'Reilly, Oh my God! I love this place for different reasons! To sum it up, their branches are distributed efficiently throughvout Sacramento, Folsom or any other seeved areas in California! The variety of the options they offer, the value for money and the outstanding support by the staff. The branch includes a restroom, wheelchair friendly parking, enterence and restroom. Located at Folsom Central and Faire Plaza, at Wales Dr and Riley St. It is a highly recommended auto parts vendor, at least by me, as well as many others I'm sure! Wally Jo's THUMBS-UP

I came in yesterday to store 3030 In Folsom by Lembi Park and was helped so stress-free by Stephen and he took the time to put in two filters for me free of charge so I could learn how to do it myself for the next time. He was friendly, helpful, and even got rid of my garbage from the cardboard containers they came in! Thank you, Stephen for being so friendly and helpful. It was very much appreciated!!!

This is the only auto store in Folsom that I will come to! The staff is so helpful! They are friendly and definitely go above and beyond to make sure I have the right parts or right amount of fluids! I can’t thank them enough!!
I went to OReilly for a battery check and Stephen and Richard assisted me. My battery was bad and I needed a jump to get to the Battery Store as my battery was still under warranty there (otherwise I would have purchased a new battery at OReilly). It took several jump start attempts but Stephen and Richard did not give up. Even though it was unpleasantly hot outside, they bent over backwards to get my battery going again, and even took the time to google my key fob since the battery dying messed that up too. Most would have probably told me to get a tow after the first few attempts to jump didn’t work, but not them. I appreciate their help so much and am totally impressed by and grateful for their customer service and kindness. I highly recommend this store, and definitely recommend them in particular.
Came in thinking I needed an AC recharge kit, so I purchased one only to realize I didn’t need refrigerant. The workers here happily returned the item to not waste any of my money. Still need to bring my car in, but I was very impressed with their service and the way they handled the situation. I forgot the guy’s name but it was Lilli and a guy with kind of long brown hair, thank you both!

This location is great! Austin was such a big help, my mustang needed a waterpump and he helped me pint point the one i needed with just a picture of my engine that i had on my phone. Ask him for anything, he’s got you!
Needed a new car battery and was fortunate to have help from Michael. He provided best-in-class customer service!! He was transparent with prices and made honest recommendations. He helped change the battery in a matter of minutes and ensured everything was smooth! By far the smoothest transaction from an auto parts store I’ve received because of Michael!
I cannot say enough good things about O'Reilly in Folsom! The customer service is stellar, they always have the parts or will get them quickly, and they are super helpful with instructing or helping install a variety of things!
I went last night for license plate lights and asked if the associate would help me. Not only did this person give me the wrong information but barely even looked at it. I just needed a flat head screw driver and pop the light out. Turn the base and there the light bulb can be replaced. And pop it right back in. Didn't have to tear my trunk lining to get to my license plate light. Will never go back here again.
Chad (store manager) Mike and Noah great employees and past coworkers. always friendly no matter what day good or bad. They do a great job at finding the parts I need in a timely manner. I come in with some complicated requests and they always have the time and patience because I’m very informational on what vehicles I’m working on that better helps them perform their job. The special requests are up and beyond. Best store experience every time and will always be my home store for any parts that I need asap.
I came in this past Saturday with wipers I had literally spent hours trying to get on my daughter’s car. Let me back up.
My daughter and two grandkids moved down to Folsom a year ago. We had purchased wipers for her several months beforehand and she thought a friend could put them on. Fast forward to last Saturday, I was down for a visit and noticed she had not had the wipers installed yet. After trying for hours I took them to O’Reillys and asked for help. The manager came out and spent about 29 minutes helping me install them before replacing them with another brand. He took his time and was so patient with me. I explained that I was worried about my kids and am from Spokane so my husband wasn’t there with us. He went above and beyond in my mind and really helped us! I am so grateful and will only shop O’Reillys due to the excellent customer service I received.
Was having trouble with my battery, came in for the free battery test and Michael really stepped up and helped me out. He instantly diagnosed and solved my issue, a very friendly and knowledgeable guy, I really appreciated his help.

Called this shop asking about the cheapest battery for my car and was told it was 159$ proceeded to go into the store and ask for the battery and was given a 200$ battery. I asked “is there a cheaper option” to which the worker replied “nope”. After explaining I had just called and was told there was a cheaper one he said “well I guess I’ll haul it out of the back for you”. It sucks that I was lied too and almost payed 50+ more dollars because the worker didn’t want to get a battery from the back….
Gavin was awesome. We have a mini cooper and every wiper blade we looked into wouldn’t fit. He had insight into cross referencing wiper blades that fit BMW. He had one pair left that fit our car perfectly. He even installed for us. Thanks Gavin - Appreciate the excellent customer service!
Amazing staff! Evan, Gavin and Jake not only knew there stuff about cars, they were also generous enough to let me stay in the store while I waited for AAA to unlock my car. Super friendly and a fun group of guys. I felt safe and taken care of. Would recommend this location. Thanks again guys! You made my bad day a little brighter
Amazing service!! Originally ordered a part I was told I needed by the smog service rep at Smog N Go. $38 for the hose, but come to find out the store manager Jack took a look at the part I actually needed. It was a basic hose and they had a scrap hose threat worked perfect!! Jack stated no need of charge and helped me put the hose on … well took over when I had difficulty doing so. Jack was absolutely amazing!! Thank you for your service and honesty!
