Called Danny’s To get a price quote for four tires to get installed. They quoted me $120 and I asked them was that out the door and they said yes he asked me what type of vehicle model everything. when I arrived, he went over. Everything told me it was gonna be extra $40 because my wheels were not factory so I said OK. And then he proceeds to tell me it is gonna be more money because they recommend installing a TPMS rebuild kit, but it was up to me if I wanted them. This is a standard install with every tire service. So basically this place is a bait and switch. Then he calls me back 15 minutes later and tells me they won’t install my tires because they Were New takeoffs And had been mounted before. What a waste of an hour.
took my 2019 to ol dannys yesterday about two codes that were set in my truck. P0016 P0011 both know issues concerning this year. I have extensive auto knowledge and experience throughout my life. I asked that they diagnose it hoping it was something more minor. I talked about my concerns regarding the timing chain and the vvt problems. plus issues with the active fuel management known to occur. I was hoping that one or any of these issues could be corrected. after 4 hours I got a call from whatever mechanic did the analysis and he told me it needed a new engine. he basically parroted back everything I had said. nothing about what or which problem had occured. this parrot costed me 125.00 with no more info than what id already talked about. anyone who puts up 5 stars must be lucky they had zero problems. these guys pick and choose jobs that can only get in and out fast. my advice is to avoid them at all costs. take the time to look at reviews first. (I didnt)
My GF went in for an oil change, and she asked them to just look over the vehicle before our trip. They were extremely pushy and tried to rush her into buying 4 new tires because "they are extremely bald on the inside"....her tires are basically new (3 months old)... total con artists. This is now acceptable in our country as "good business practices " apparently. Yay.
This place isn’t thee place, but it’s one of Danny’s. And Danny is by far one of the best mechanics on the West Coast. Hands down, battle tested, hardened and proven. I’ve traveled miles to Oregon, on to Washington, back to California and down on to Arizona. All after servicing my vehicles with Danny’s Automotive. I couldn’t have been more pleased, or tell you how much better I felt about my vehicles after coming from here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Poor Job done on the alignment. My Daughter had gotten the alignment done at Clarks in Roseville 1 week prior to her boyfriend taking it here for an oil change. He thought it needed an alignment still and asked them to perform it. Danny's stated to him it was way out of SPECIFICATINS.... My daughter explained was just done when she had gotten the new tires, and we took it back to Clarks and they had to readjust Dannys work. Clarks WAS willing to refund for the work if in fact it was Clark's mistake, and at no charge they fixed and showed her what Danny's messed up on and could have ruined her new tires. Danny's refused to give her a refund or to make it right. BE AWARE OF Danny's SCAMS!

Went in for an estimate for a steering rack issue on my Acura. Came back with a quote with a millions of other things that it didn’t need and told me he wont do the job unless we paid full price for the quote. Had to pay for the estimate that i didn’t even ask on everything else. They don’t listen to their customers and our out to scam you, went to multiple other shops who quoted me far less and far less issues
Grant was helpful and solved a problem that my dealership couldn't figure out! He looked over my car and found some other issues. Got a good deal on new tires.
went in to get a diagnosis on my car and they quoted me over 2000$ worth of issues. went into another shop and got a few people to look at the car and was told i had no issues. i was always afraid of being taken advantage of for not knowing much about cars but this just blew my mind.
We went to Danny's for a car inspection. Grant and other folks provided very great service in terms of time, quality, and price. Their professional diagnoses are very helpful for us to decide whether to purchase the used car or not. Danny's is indeed a reliable, long-term partner for maintaining our vehicles.
The shop has the nicest people working for them, and they do great work for a fair price. I appreciate the customer service and the quality of their work.
Cant thank Danny’s automotive enough for their awesome service and warm hospitality. Grant is extremely professional and offered the best advice for my vehicles repairs. I came in with my Jeep without an appointment and they took me in and got me out within the hour. Thank you again will be back for other services in the near future !
Everything from oil changes to transmission problems. I have experienced only the best of services from Danny's automotive. A real 5 star operation with reasonable prices. Just can't say enough good things! You won't be disappointed.
I went in because after I got an alignment my car was still leaning to the left and I wanted to know why. Grant, a very nice gentleman at the front, made sure they got to the problem and didn’t charge me and didn’t upsell me. Great customer service with workers who care :)

Over priced and out of touch with their customers after they got a State Contract for vehicle repairs. Got to big for their britches.
Took my Diesel truck to be looked at for White smoke coming out the exhaust. They claimed they drove it two times and there was no sign of smoke (Which was a lie) They claimed they scanned it and no codes came up (Which was another lie) and they wanted to charge me $240.
Needles to say, I took it to "Integratie Automotive" and they diagnosed a blown Turbo unit and minor water leak. I received HONEST and Fast advice from these guys. Ask for Jessy.
Get estimates before going to this shop. They will charge you more than you should have to pay. $1,400 for a alternator and battery doesn't seem reasonable in price. Go elsewhere!
Very nice and fair people. Provided me with several solutipn options for my check engine sensor issue. Really explained things me about change from GA to CA gas to operating differences. Will definitely go back and recommended.
I would definitely recommend Danny’s. Today I took my car in and Robert helped me out. He was quite friendly and also honest, not trying to push a tire sale. They put a patch on one of my leaky tires at a very fair price (quick too!). I will return the next time I need tire service.
Wish I could give them 10 stars! They are awesome. Found them on Google, and decided to give them a try because of their reviews. My car started jerking on the way to Tahoe and it would not go faster than 30 mph. So we have to turn around and luckily Danny’s has a night drop. So I left the car there and called them on a Saturday morning. Adam was so helpful and kept me abreast as to what was going on with my car. By that afternoon, my car was done. I was very pleased with the reasonable rates and the outstanding service. I have found my new mechanic!
I had my 2002 SUV repaired there on 4-12-21. Their quote for my services was the lowest price of ALL the many other shops quotes that I received. Service Rep. Grant checked me in. He was the nicest, most knowledgeable person I've encountered at an automotive shop. My SUV is running smoothly now. This is going to be my future auto repair shop. I'm recommending Danny's Auto to EVERYONE!
Picked it because it was near my work. Got very lucky. They are easy to work with and the place is clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are fair.
Danny's is the latest to occupy this auto repair spot, and my first experience was very positive. Saved me lots of money over using the dealer to complete my 135k service along with savings on brakes and shocks. I look forward to using them in the future.
Long story short, I'm from out of town. I got a nail in my tire. Danny's was near by. First they opened early for me. Two they didn't charge me. I live 40 to 50 miles away. They still didn't charge me. Very professional, clean, place. I wish I lived closer I would always use them.
Danny's Automotive in Folsom SAVED OUR FAMILY OVER HALF THE COST of what an Auto Dealership Service Dept was going to charge to fix our daughter's car!! And the workmanship was excellent :-)
