Hands down, the best recycle facility in all od Sac county!! The staff is super friendly, helpful, patient, and will help you every step of the way. As soon as you walk in their is ALWAYS someone there to help. Super fast super easy, I will NEVER go anywhere else!!
Heard of this place from a friend. Simply awesome!! You just bring your stuff in (no need to crush or sort) and the machine does all the jobs. After you get the credit, you take the voucher to a machine and scan the code. The money comes out like a ATM machine. The staff were very helpful and friendly too. This is THE place to go for recycling.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean indoor place as well. The hours are awesome as well. They stay open until 7 pm during the weekdays which is awesome! Also I seem to get more money for my recyclables than anywhere else in town.
Hands down the best place to recycle in Sacramento. I've been here twice already and won't go anywhere else. David and the rest of the staff are awesome! I love the fact that I don't have to sort plastic and aluminum. Just make sure to not crush them so you get full crv. Here's hoping that we see another location or 2 in the Sacramento area!
I went there today it was amazing turned in several cans and bottles and took home a decent amount of money. It was clean and they are very helpful. I will be coming back this weekend to turn in more cans and bottles. Thank you so much for having a clean operation.
So....there is a reason why this place has nothing but 5 Star reviews. The reason being is that when one thinks of turning in their recyclables, they automatically picture a few questionable characters operating either out of the back of a trailer via a pop up tent or down some alley tucked away in the corner of 2 abandoned buildings. And no matter where it is, the ground is ALWAYS STICKY. But this place looks and feels like a hospital.....its an indoor (w/ AC) operation via a stand alone building and non-sticky floors. Plenty of staff was available to help operate one of the recycling machines which were clean and super easy to use. The ONLY downside was all bottles and cans cannot be crushed prior to coming in.....I guess everything can't be 100% perfect....
A super simple and convenient drop-off process. On top of that, it’s really fun for kids. My first grader was so proud to have the chance to help me and load the bottles onto the conveyor all by himself. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We’ve already started collecting a new batch of bottles and cans so we can come back again!
Quick, no sorting required, machine does all the work. Spits out your ticket, take it to the register and you get a ticket for the money machine and boom done! I hate sorting and this is fantastic!
Nice, new spot located within a shopping center making recycling quick and convenient. The employees are all friendly and a ton of help showing you the process works. I look forward to coming back with some more cans in the future.
Place is clean, easy to use, and staff were really friendly. It’s a family owned business which is nice. They recommend not crushing the cans so that the bar code can easily be read when processing through their machines.
Most recycling locations made recycling feel kind of dirty, so I used to give all my cans and bottles to my neighbor. My neighbor "retired" from recycling so I decided to give it a try. I looked online at all my options, read the reviews for this place, and drove on over there. OMG this place is AMAZING! It's clean! It's not smelly! It looks great! The attendant was extremely friendly and helpful! I will NEVER go to another recycling center again.
For best results do not dent or smash your cans or bottles or they will come out in a type of reject pile, like coins in a vending machine. No worries though, you just take those cans or bottles to the front and they help. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience!
I took my recycle to this facility and everyone was friendly and kind. A couple of the gentlemen that work there helped me bring in my bags from the car and empty them into the hopper. No need to crush cans, glass or plastic bottles. It literally uses the bar code and counts each piece of recycle you have on hand. One does not have to have them separated. That is what the bar code is for I believe. If there are any crushed items they can still weigh it if need be. Every single person that seemed to work their were very personable which can be hard to find nowadays. Thank you so much Simply Recycle for a wonderful first impression and experience. And keeping the facility in clean orderly state. I will definitely be bringing my items to your facility to recycle from here on out.
A wonderful new way to recycle CRV containers. Employees were welcoming and helpful and the process was simple and transparent. Their system scans and counts individual cans so you know you're getting a fair return. Hopefully we'll see more recycling centers like this.
Staff were extremely kind and helpful! The building was newly painted, super clean, and very inviting. So glad it's all indoors! The entire process was organized & easy to follow, so now we'll be using Simply Recycle instead of other recyclers. We're thrilled that they're open! Be sure to try them!
Went here to redeem CRV beverage containers for my grand nieces. The service was GREAT. The agent was a super nice, young man wearing a Milwaukee tool shirt. I'll be back. A+ business and staff.
Very nice, very clean, very easy going, walked right in all the employees were welcoming helped me out with all my recycled bottles and cans will definitely come by again soon.
Had a great visit today. Very nice clean facility. The staff was very helpful, and let me and my daughter take a peak in back to see the sorter machine. We will be always taking our recycle here. I would love to see more of these facilities around sacramento
I had the chance to visit their recycling facility during their third day of operation ever! It was an eye-opening experience in the world of recycling. I’ve been recycling for years, so I’ve seen it all, but this was the cleanest, most straightforward, and completely automated recycling experience I’ve ever had. No more spending over an hour pre-separating my materials. All I have to do is dump the material, and the machine takes care of the rest. And the best part? They even pay me based on the count, so I get every penny back! They also let me see the back where the process happens. It’s the same price as others, but it’s quicker, cleaner, and more convenient. All I have to do is take my ticket to the automated machine where the cash dispenses! California needs to step up their game in the recycling industry! I can’t imagine going back to a sketchy area, separating in the rain and wind. And the big bonus of it all, I met the owner working there himself, the guy seemed authentic and genuine! See you guys soon!
Went here today to recycle my cans and bottles. I love this new modern machinery and technology. It makes it all so easy for you, no more crushing or sorting your recyclables. Customer #2 here. I was fortunate enough to find a clean and innovative place to recycle my small bag of CRV plastic water bottles. The staff was courteous and helpful explaining how the process works. For the customer, it does not get any easier than this. Simply drop in your bag of recyclables into the sorter and it does the rest. Being inside while doing this is a big plus, especially on a rainy day like today. I look forward to coming back in the future with all of my CRV items.
