I came all the way from LA, past dozens of dealers along the way, but why? Because Elk Grove gave me the best deal on a hard to find Sequoia and the best deal for my trade in. Jay Chhim, one of the sales managers worked with me and was very transparent about pricing and what to expect. From every interaction since August when I put my name down for the truck, to dealing with it, to finance, and final delivery, the common thing I heard was, we’re a family owned dealership that takes care of their customers and that was 100% true. I was treated like family and not merely a customer. I was extremely happy with the deal and walked away with a truck my family and I love. Jay prepared the deal and had the paperwork ready. When I got there, I was in and out in less than 2 hours and back on the road back to LA. Amazing! Elk Grove Toyota is the best!! From the moment we walked in we were welcomed by one person, not a rush of a bunch of sales men. Tony was to the point he listened to us and took all of our needs I to account. He ran our credit an even though we were not approved at the monthly price we needed to be at he spoke with his manager and they worked it to where he got us exactly at thr right price. Worked with finace and Debbie was great she showed us all our options and not once were we pressured to buy anything we didn't need. Fantastic customer service, excellent communication and exceptional experience in purchasing a brand new 2026 Toyota Camry. I love the new car! Wonderful too knowing this family owned business treats their customers as though they are family, and that really made us feel so good after experiencing a very bad potential purchase at another dealership. After contemplating stopping by the Elk Grove Toyota dealership for some time now, I finally decided to drive by to take a look. As a woman, doing anything in the vehicle realm (repairs, oil changes, purchases, etc) is extremely intimidating and nerve wracking because of the stigma we are overly pressured and taken advantage of. I went in overly prepared with firm boundaries on what I needed and wanted. Thankfully, I didn’t have to EARN my respect as I was expecting, because I was greeted and serviced by Romeo (Romey) who gave it to me immediately and went above and beyond my expectations. Romey ran around the lot (literally) to appease my whim to go back and forth between price, trim, bed size, and color. He did not push me into a decision but helped guide me, even being gracious when I had to leave and come back at a later time while I reviewed all the information (I know this is normally a high pressure point). When I returned Romey went further in to breaking down my trade in value and loan options, which eventually got to me my magic number to sign on the dotted line. My fortunate experience did not end with Romey - once I moved to the contract & payment phase Duong (apologies if misspelled) assisted me with all my paperwork and optional add ons. Duong also handled my indecisiveness with gentleness and respect, working with me until I found a package that fit my lifestyle and would take care of both me and my new truck past driving off the lot. The whole experience was more than I could have asked for and I thank both these gentleman deeply, as well as the dealership for having staff like this represent thier company.
BUYER BEWARE!! DONT BUY A 2025 BZ4X. Unless you enjoy losing at least 60 miles of range after 4 months of owning the car. When we bought this car in May of this year. We were told it at full charge it had a 220 mile range cause it’s AWD. Now 4 months later we are getting 140-150 miles of range at 90% charging. We brought it into service and they told us that’s a good range for this car. Seems odd to me that the range would drop that much in 4 months. If we had been told at time of sale that the range would drop that much 4 months into owning the car I would have never bought it. We feel like we got bamboozled. So now we’re stuck with this car for another 2 1/2 years. If the range has decreased this much in 4 months. I can’t imagine what it will be on another 6-12 months. Guess we get to pay for a car that sits in the driveway or we have to charge every 20 miles cause remember the service people said that’s a good range for a 4 month old car. Not only will I never purchase another EV again but I will not be purchasing from
EG Toyota ever again as well. Sad too I heard and read so many good things about them but I guess those people didn’t buy an EV.
What happened to Elk Grove Dealership? It's gone downhill so fast. I've been taking my Toyotas to this dealership's service center (and bought cars here too) for 25 years. They were so good and really cared about their customers. I just took my Toyota in and was told it would take almost three hours. NOPE. Then they said an hour-and-a-half. Okay, I'll do it. Simple, simple thing to get done, especially for a long-time customer of both my husband and me. Anyway, after 2-and-a-half hours, I was told 40 more minutes, which turned into another hour. It wasn't even busy. The waiting area was empty. The place where I pulled in to get checked in, I was the FIRST IN LINE mid-morning!! If it wasn't for the nice gal who checked me in, I'd give it a ZERO for customer service. I have to find a new place to take my Toyotas and buy a new one soon.
Honestly, steer clear of this place. They also try to scare you and up-sell you parts, which they NEVER used to do. What happened to this place? Bad, bad business. (I rarely write reviews but I wanted people to see this before taking their autos there.

My family and I were out on a Sunday enjoying a Family Day when our truck suddenly stopped and wouldn’t move. I called Toyota and had the truck towed to Elk Grove Toyota. The next day, I was contacted by technician Wilton Vong, who informed me that they would need to diagnose the issue.
After diagnosing the truck, they determined that it needed a replacement motor. While they worked on it, they provided me with a new 4Runner to use, which was incredibly helpful. The entire repair process took about a month, and throughout that time, Elk Grove Toyota consistently kept me updated on the status of the truck.
Their team was courteous, professional, and easy to work with. Elk Grove Toyota was there when I needed them, and I truly appreciate the service they provided.

Normally I have good experiences bringing my car here for service. This last time was not good after I picked up my car from having an oil change my car started running funny so we called and they wanted us to bring the car in, but unfortunately we already had plans and I was not able to do that so my husband took it upon himself to look inside and sure enough they forgot to put some filter and to screw on the bolts/clips or whatever they’re called I’m not sure. Then my steering wheel was scratched, it looks like they turned the wheel and they must’ve had some tool or keys on their hands, and they completely scratched it off,

I drove out of my way to get my car serviced here, because the Google map reviews were so high. I was not disappointed! I scheduled an early morning service, and although they have a very high volume, they were able to turn it over in a reasonable amount of time.
Special call out to Kane, who was informative, attentive, and responded to all of my questions in person and via text message during the service appointment.
Although I didn’t wait around for the entire time, I did note that the customer waiting area included booth if you needed to work on your laptop.
