This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had--and I genuinely believe something shady is going on at this shop.
It all started with the tow truck driver, who strongly insisted I bring my car here rather than the shop on Bruceville that I had used last year without issue. That already raised red flags, and looking back, I believe I was steered here intentionally.
From the moment my car was dropped off, communication was abysmal. I had to call every time to get an update--no one reached out to keep me informed. Then, when Tenaya finally called at 11:25 AM to let me know my car was ready, I told her I'd be heading over shortly. At 12:05 PM, while I was already in the Uber, she texted to say the shop was closed for lunch from 12-1 PM. No warning of that earlier. I responded to her text right away saying I was already on my way. No reply.
When I arrived, I was left waiting outside in the heat along with another customer (also arriving by Uber) who had the exact same issue--called after 11 AM, told their car was ready, and no mention of a lunch closure. Tenaya finally let us in at 12:45 PM, offered no greeting, and only responded when I voiced my frustration. Her apology was robotic, lacking any sincerity or accountability. When I explained my frustration about the poor communication, her response was: "I already apologized. I don't know what else you want. If you're looking for a discount, I can't do that." -- WOW.
No, I wasn't looking for a discount. I was expecting basic, decent customer service--and I didn't even get that.
To make matters worse, I was charged for a diagnostic and battery replacement, and I was never offered alternatives by the tow truck driver, who seemed insistent on funneling me here. It feels like a setup, and I have since filed a complaint with AAA.
I don't trust this place, and based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone from taking their vehicle here. I truly wish I had declined all services and not had given them a single dime. Horrible lesson learned!
There should be information on the website and when an appointment is set that cash is not accepted. I had an appointment and I wasn’t aware that cash wasn’t accepted until I arrived and I desperately need an oil change. Now I have to reschedule.
Went there about a year ago. Guy told me, over the Phone, one price, that l agreed to and when l went to pick up my car, he jacked the price up about $300. When l discuss my concerns about the price increase, the manager said that "I should be grateful that I have the money to pay." Haven't been back since
Jerry’s customer service is always above and beyond every time I come in. He’s always super nice and friendly and is always trying to figure out how to help you in anyway he can. I love coming to this location Jerry as well as the staff are amazing and have excellent customer service.
AAA Auto Repair is absolutely fantastic! They got us in right away to fix a minor issue with our van, and we were back on the road in no time. The team is honest, friendly, and their service is truly top-notch. Highly recommend them for their professionalism and efficiency!

I spoke with the mechanic and he gave attitude over a simple question. Talked to the guy behind the desk and same story. I don’t know if they were just having a tough day but the customer service was very poor for me. Also, they overcharge here for sure.
Am I the only one who didn't know AAA offered repair work as well? Best decision i ever made for mechanic service! Perfect for me since I don't have a trustworthy mechanic of my own. Don’t waste your time or money here! Fuel gauge wasn’t reading properly. I brought my vehicle here and they said fuel sensor was out. Charge me $175 to diagnose it then over $700 to replace fuel pump just for my fuel gauge to still not read properly. When I called and asked about it they wanted to charge me $175 again to look at it! Shameful! Will never come here again!
I’ve been a loyal AAA member for years, and my experiences have always been positive until my recent visit to the Orchard Loop location. I brought my car in for servicing, and when it was time to pay, I used Apple Pay, which showed “approved” on the terminal. However, the associate, Gary, told me the payment didn’t go through. When I checked my transaction history, I discovered the exact amount I was charged at AAA had instead gone through to a nearby Cinnabon.
In an already stressful situation, Gary’s response was dismissive and disrespectful. I found it very odd that he refused to take cash payment and urged only Apple pay for choice of payment. This experience has left me feeling frustrated, exploited, victimized and apprehensive with the service and security of the payment system at this location. I expected more attentiveness from a company I’ve trusted for so long.
Hopefully, this issue can be addressed, as I know AAA can do better.
Dealt with such great staff when I took my car at AAA Auto repair was fast and easy process they did an amazing job . I am beyond impressed and happy and definitely recommend this location .

This morning I was driving my Toyota Prius and I notice the light for low tire pressure was on, so I went to the gas station and unfortunately the air pump was not working, I didn’t want to drive my car on the freeway so I decided to take it to the nearest shop, when I got in I was help by Josh one friendly mechanic and I Explain My Problem to him, not only was kind to look at my tire he also check the other three. I’m so thankful for the assistance from Josh and I will try next time that I need any service to go down AAA Service and ask for Josh!

Did they fix my vehicle? yes.
Did their estimate take 3 business days to get to me? Yes, AND they called me repeatedly in the span of three hours when I took a couple days to get the funding secured and they wanted an answer.
Did they mark up the parts 30% and only reveal/apologize for it TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY when they called to ask why the repair was so much? Strangely... yep!
I had to get the repair done faster than the timeline I've previously had with my insurance, so we got it taken care of, and while my claims adjuster was getting the payment ready, they chose to reveal it to him. They told him straight out that if they had known I was going to use insurance that they would not have marked up the costs like that- which left him in the position to have to call me and explain why my insurance refund looked like I was being shorted by over $800 (since the mark up was so large they could not cover it).
Add this insult to injury: I am a lifelong AAA member, and was still treated like this. I won't be returning and I WILL be reporting this to corporate as well as BBB.
My girlfriend took her car to get a coolant exchange, the next day her car stalled in the middle of the 110° day while she was driving.
We had the tow truck driver tow her vehicle to the same location where she had her coolant exchanged. A few days later, the service agent called her to explain that the vehicle was fixed, they drove the car 30 miles, and we shouldn't have any more problems. Great! She left, drove her car for about an hour, and it stalled again, but at my house, thankfully; and not on the highway. The next morning, I drove her car to AAA auto repair to get the car repair as the service agent obviously lied to us that it was fixed. The service agent and mechanic stated they didn't know what was wrong and were only looking for Codes to tell them what was wrong with the vehicle. So they gave us back the car. Then I walked next door to Auto Tech Service & Repair. They fixed the problem within a few hours! My car works well, and they did it without Codes! Also, their prices are very reasonable and affordable.
AAA insurance is great, just not their repair shops.
I have to change my review!!! Sadly, we had a positive first experience, so we took our truck here to fix the air conditioning. I had to file a complaint with the Bureau of Auto Repair. And they agreed with me that my suspicions were valid. Right after getting my vehicle, the next day it didn't work, then the charged me extra, all of a sudden a different issue arised?? This is for work over 2000.00. VERY BAD service, Take your car somewhere else!
Made an appointment, which was easy. The guys took care of my car, the AC is running great now. Just in time for the summer heat. Great customer service from the front desk.
My pickup overheated. They said it was the water pump. $2000 later I still smelled antifreeze and saw signs of leaking. Took it back and they said it was the radiator cap. Never showed me the the old water pump. They would not make any kind of adjustments or compensation. $2000 for a $25 part. I’ll never go back.
Brought the Lexus in for oil changes. Price did went up since last time was there. Don't think there are discounts with triple AAA members. Service waiting time was decent and friendly

Eli was absolutely AMAZING. He personally drove to pick up my tires from West Sac to ensure my car would be done in time to pick up my son from school. AMAZING customer service, incredibly quick wait time, and wonderful service. I have been coming here since I discovered them, and don’t plan to go anywhere else :) It’s so hard to find a nice car shop that doesn’t take advantage … but this is the place. Love them!!! 11/10.
I took my Subaru in for an oil change. They did a full inspection. They performed the service quickly. Gary professional and courteous. Recommended this service to my son and neighbor.
I made an appointment a day ahead of time. Came in at 9am and dropped my car off. Called back at 11:30 and they HAD NOT STARTED on my brakes. Didn't order the part until I dropped it off. If its been a problem in the past of people not keeping appointments...MAKE THEM LEAVE A DEPOSIT!! It's now almost 2pm and I still don't have my car. UTTERLY RIDICULOUS!!
This place is not trustworthy. Don't think because it'd AAA your in good hands. This place pushed a valve cover gasket replacement when it wasn't leaking at all. Never a drop of oil on my driveway or in the engine compartment. Avoid this person's business they push stuff you don't need in the name of making max $$$
Took my Malibu for oil change at AAA, in and out in less than one hour. Next day took my XT5 to Epic for oil change, took three and a half hours. AAA did an excellent job and explained all the details of their findings during the extra checks they performed including topping off fluids.
We rated this business at 5 stars, because that is exactly what we experienced. Gary and Eli are great examples of what good auto repairmen should be. Shout out to the AAA techs. They were very helpful, honest, on time, on budget and thorough. The price was very reasonable and the 2 year warranty was a plus. We will be return customers for future repairs.

Visit here for first time. The oil change was good. Total cost me 106$ but with AAA discount not too great. Is only applied to the labor so discount was $1.06 . Overall is good services but not so much with discounts. It would cost similar as Lexus or Toyota dealership.
