Talked to Renee on the phone about a product question. She was unbelievably rude and unpleasant to talk to on the phone. Never once did she say hi how can I help you how is your day thank you have a good day anything. Cut me off many times. Acted like every request I made was draining to her. She wasn’t even angry with me just a horrible person to talk to
Barbara and Nathan provided above and beyond customer service. My grandma had a dead battery in a different parking lot and they came to us tested then changed the battery.

I stopped at my local Auto Zone because the oil wasn't registering on the dipstick. Nathan was fabulous. He helped me pick the right oil, and helped me make sure I was adding enough to be safe.
I don't normally write reviews, but Nathan went above and beyond the basic customer service. I would give him 10 stars, if available, and please give him a well deserved raise. He earned it.
They always want to help you and typically say hello unless obviously in the middle of talking to people. Their loan a tool program is incredibly awesome

Review Title: Disappointed by Rude Behavior from a Cashier
We visited AutoZone at 8129 Auburn blvd, Citrus Heights, CA on 12/26/2024 at 12:54 pm and were disappointed by the unprofessional and rude behavior of one of the cashiers Nathan. While checking out, the cashier spoke to us in a condescending tone as if he didn’t want us there.
After making the purchase, my husband politely asked Nathan to open the packaging so we could confirm if the chains would fit our tires. Instead of providing a helpful response, Nathan spoke in an unnecessarily rude tone, saying, "How am I supposed to resell them to another customer if the packaging is opened?" He also emphasized that if we opened the packaging, the item would be non-returnable.
While we understand return policies and the importance of keeping products in original condition, it wasn't about the policy-it was about the way Nathan handled the situation.
His tone was unprofessional and made us feel unwelcome, as though we were being unreasonable for simply asking for assistance.
This behavior made us feel humiliated as though we didn't belong. No one should have to experience such blatant disrespect and discrimination, especially in a customer-facing environment. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect and courtesy, which was clearly lacking during this visit.
I hope Autozone takes this feedback seriously and addresses the importance of respectful customer service with their staff. I urge Autozone to provide diversity and sensitivity training to ensure employees treat all customers with respect. I value shopping at this store, but interactions like this make me hesitant to return.
Went in to have my battery checked thinking I might need a new one. Justin helped me and I was shocked that he had customer service skills and I was impressed. He was helpful and very nice, something that I don’t see anymore. Justin answered my questions and sold me a battery and installed it. Thank you Justin
Needed the code read on a check-engine light. They will do it for free and their computer even spits out a list of repairs it recommends based on what the particular code is. The clerk with the gauges (did not catch your name, sorry!) was friendly, professional, and fast.
Renee is the kindest most helpful person you could ever have working at your shop. Her knowledge of cars is masterlevel and her kindness and wanting to help is that of Mother Theresea!

A guy named Joseph C helped me out big time ! Scanner said I needed a o2 sensor. Joseph came out to look at my vehicle and saw it was actually a hose that was not attached to my manifold intake!!!

I had a tail light out so I stopped at AutoZone to have it checked. I already had a light that I had bought previously at another location. I didn't know how to install it but the manager, I believe her name is Renee, was kind enough to help me. She installed the light and I was on my way! I would definitely go back there for my auto part needs.
Renee is so awesome, I have been coming here for years! Multiple vehicles and she is always a delight and helps me find whatever I need! I believe Jessica is new there and she was very helpful as well (I hope I got her name right) she has almost been there 90 days and she was very quick and already prepared with a ladder to get the parts I needed.
Bingo! They had the 'Club Classic' steering wheel lock that I've been searching for! After trying two Wal-Marts, a Napa and three Autozones, this location had what I needed.
Daniel was most helpful and polite. I’m handicapped and after scanning my car in the parking lot, brought me the printout and offered suggestions to fix my issue, all outside in this heat. Good job. Much appreciated!
Three stores did not have mass air cleaner. The manager was polite and even though she didnt have what I needed she found another store near by and called for them to hold some. Great experience!
I want to thank Adrian who works at this Auto Zone for his exemplary help. I had been to a few Auto Zone, trying to get the right terminal for the battery of my car. Every where I went, no one would or could help me. This young man came to my car ,looked at my terminals, saw the real issue and immediately addressed it, worked on the battery terminal, apologized for my experience at the other 2 Auto Zone. I was so impressed with his customer service. He wouldn't allow me to pay him.
I asked to speak to his manager, just to thank him. I got to speak to the District Manager, unfortunately I couldn't remember his name, Devin, Derek? Either way I appreciate Good Customer Service and will continue to shop at this store, even if it is alot further than my Rocklin address
On 3/9/21 I received excellent customer service from Renee! She went above & beyond helping me with new windshield wipers. It was pouring rain & I'm elderly & disabled, she did everything for me! I didn't have to get out of my vehicle! And my windshield had issues that required adjustments & Renee's attention to this & her patience & help was AMAZING! Thank you so very much Renee!

I stopped to pick up wiper blades before the rain hit. It had rained that week and I noticed my old ones were falling apart!
The staff was friendly when purchasing, but I am extremely grateful that they saw me try to figure out how to replace the blades. The man who came out was very helpful and explained how to do it before popping them in place. I thought I could manage a simple task like that but before I could admit defeat I got the help I should have asked for in the first place.
