Trying to get a car out and pay them money for their business. The address is not updated on google. Called 3 times asked for the address told 3 different things. Got here, no one is here…. Had to call again a rude lady said a driver would be on the way but it wouldn’t be long called 40 minutes later and was told it still be another 20 minutes mind you I came on lunch to do this because they close at 5 and I work til 5. So it’s either I leave and waste my time and lunch or I get charged another day? Are you ever here? Or do you not expect people to ever come get their stuff? As long as I’ve waited here the lady who answered the phone could have been here.
This place is TERRIBLE! Although, who really comes to a tow yard expecting to have a positive experience? That aside, this place is still terrible. Unfortunately my car has been towed twice by this place. The first time was because my car was totaled in an accident and I needed to get my stuff out of my car. When I called, they told me the wrong tow yard, so I drove all the way out to Roseville and found out that my car was actually at their yard close to Carmichael. When I got there, they started telling me that I wasn't allowed to take my $1,000 subwoofer out of my car. And had my car surrounded by 3 men while I gathered my belongings, basically to intimidate me. Luckily I brought my husband who wasn't having it, we actually did get my subwoofer. The second time my car was towed was because of outdated registration- which was of course my fault, however, they tow truck driver stole a lot of money out of my car. I have him on my surveillance camera going into my car 3 different times when he should've never entered my car in the first place. When I tried to collect my belongings, the guy at the counter was WASTED drunk and wouldn't let me in the yard to get my stuff because it was 4:30pm and they closed at 5pm. If you have the unfortunate luck of having to deal with this place, just come prepared and expect to have a hard time dealing with these people.

I recently had a very frustrating experience with Jake towing Unfortunately, the customer service I received was far from
the representative was rude and dismissive, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I was kept on hold for an extended period, and when I finally got through, the staff member seemed impatient and unwilling to answer my questions.
The tow truck arrived much later than promised, and I could tell the driver was not keen on helping. There was no greeting or explanation, just a quick and unprofessional interaction. To make matters worse, my vehicle was returned with scratches that weren't there before! Never use them

EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional woman on the phone. Was waiting for a credit authorization, called to them know I hadn't received it the woman on other end lashed out stating she wasn't talking to me she was talking to her co worker. WORST service I have experience not to mention over priced. The driver on the other hand was nice.

The driver arrived promptly and delivered my dad's car with care. He was exceptionally kind and easy to communicate with. This review is for the Devecchi location in Citrus Heights. They responded quickly and towed my vehicle away from an accident that took place to whereas the other driver ran a red light and slammed into my vehicle as I was turning left. When I had forgot some things they were very accommodating to help me retrieve my belongings from my vehicle and keep it for safe keeping until it was scheduled to be towed to the collision repair shop. I encouraged everyone there to GET A DASH CAM!! It saves on so much time and trouble proving who’s at fault in an accident. These guys were great!
I own a food truck and Saturday night when I was driving on the freeway the back left tire studs sheared off. I managed to pull over to the shoulder and a very friendly CHP officer called in a special recovery tow. My tow truck driver was named Cordell aka (napoleon dynamite) who was absolutely amazing. Jake's towing and heavy duty recovery was efficient and professional from the get go. They tightened the last few studs I had. Hooked up the vehicle from the rear. Then proceeded to back up the highway in reverse pushing me up the hill to the freeway exit. Then exited off the freeway in reverse up hill to turn around. And did so smoothly with no sweat or issue. He then proceeds to back the vehicle perfectly into the back back lot of a mechanics yard again easy and no issue. I would highly recommend them for all future business.
Horrible experience! I made an appointment time 2 days in advance, and the driver was still 45 minutes late. The driver had to call his boss to find out how to load my car onto the flat bed. He turned my car on to unlock the steering wheel, and despite reminding him to turn it off, he left my car on so my battery was dead by the time my mechanic got my car. I had to pay for a new battery on top of the original problem that required a tow. Oh and did I mention, he delivered my car to the wrong place and left it there without checking in with anyone, and left it on and the key sitting in the front seat. When I spoke with the staff at Jake's, she said she'd refund, but I still got charged!
My husband's company rig broke down yesterday afternoon. Jake's was called. Man Oh Man! Was my husband & rig Treated Right!! Weighing 70,000 pounds, CORDELL hooked it up and towed Without An Issue!! His Skill, Courtesy & Equipment was Stellar

I crashed my car on E Roseville Parkway. The tow man arrived and you would have thought I had totally put HIM out. He insisted he had to take my car I could not wait for triple A tow. My insurance said he should not have done that. He said my insurance would pay. I asked if I could ride to the shop and wait for my ride. Again he seemed annoyed and asked how long. He acted like I was going to pull parts off cars trying to get my belongings which had bee tossed all over my car. Then a 2nd man came up tapping his pen on a clipboard. They couldn't offer me a chair or water while I waited after going through such a traumatic event. They even said that I would have to go to the curb on the street to sit with all my bag. Such Bullies. Maybe it was their obvious White Pride.when my brother arrived to get me with his Trump sticker he completely changed his tune. $$$
So any tow company can tow a car… I have a 70,000 pound cement truck flipping over in my back yard that needed rescue. I’ve been around techs and heavy equipment my whole life… Jake’s towing has impressed me beyond belief, they didn’t just get a sunken cement truck out (child’s play) they maneuvered a million dollar rig through a multi million dollar garage! 10/10 recommend!!
They took my friend's car and he got it from his his dad's girlfriend/wife an his dead dad an the title is in the glovebox an they won't let him get it he has the death certificate an now he'll probably loose the only thing he has from his dad!!! Not to mention it was a wrongful tow. Jakes sucks they are jus tryin to steal the contents of the vehicle an of course the vehicle itself.... Why are the such crooks

I didn't meet the tow truck driver that took my car to the location in citrus heights but I did meet the tow truck driver who was taking the person who rear-ended me his car to the Roseville location and he was very nice. At the tow yard of the citrus heights location the man was very friendly I wouldn't say that he was overly helpful and helping me find a way to get into the trunk I had to figure that out on my own. And I was only missing one item from the vehicle and that was a very expensive tire iron that was purchased and I was very disappointed to see it wasn't there anymore I'm sure it wasn't him I'm sure it was the tow truck driver. When I saw my car the windows were rolled down the battery was dead I didn't feel like they gave it a level of security although it is in a secure area. I did mention that the tire iron was missing to my disappointment he did not further assist me into finding out what happened to it. But what are you going to do. Nothing because that's the way it is with the tow yards. It's like not only you are you violated by the accident and the driver who had no insurance but adding insult to injury we have missing stuff.
I feel horrible saying anything about the trip to the yard because the man in the office was so kind. And it's not his fault he really is just supposed to make sure I don't get injured getting my belongings. It being so bloody hot doesn't help matters any either. Ordered a tow to a tire shop at 1:35pm. Quoted me 120-135 minutes. I get it, short staffed and weird times. It’s 7pm and after calling over and over they didn’t answer. My wife called from another number and sure enough, they answered. Said they double booked and my appointment was cancelled. Without telling me. Didn’t offer to come next day or any help from their mess up. Awful company to work with. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
If you ever need a tow truck, call Jake’s Towing. They saved us! Here’s what happened-
We were in a horrible predicament the other day. Our car broke down in a shopping center parking lot. It was 110 degrees out! Couldn’t wait inside anywhere due to Covid. We called our Insurance roadside assistance for help which took forever to get through to anyone and one guy took 2 hours to arrive and couldn’t get the car started. He refused to call a tow for us. Had to go through red tape again to get a tow truck. That person took another 3 hours to arrive and then told us that he couldn’t drive us home. While we were trying to find a ride home, that tow truck driver left us and the car stranded in a dark parking lot. The person I was with is very ill and needed to get home to take daily meds. Had to to call the police to come help us. The police called Jake’s Towing. Jason B showed up in 15 mins, got the car and drove us to our house all within 45 mins. We called him again today to get the car to a mechanic and he showed up in a timely manner. Thank you so much Jason B for rescuing us after a horrific day and being so professional and kind. It’s a rarity these days. We have told everyone to call you should they need assistance.
Car got impounded, called to see what the price would be to get it out, was told that it was 100$ less then what it was when I went to retrieve the vehicle two hours after the call. This is after I called multiple times to get pricing and was told to hold on while they look and kept my call on hold for an hour. Once I finally retrieved my vehicle the exhaust had been badly damaged and bent, when I pointed out that my exhaust was now hanging on the ground and would not go back on the vehicle the guy helping me just walked away to open the gate. Good luck if your car ends up here.
We had our Pizza Truck towed to Apple Hill with Jake's Towing. This was the first time ever for us to arrive to a wedding in a tow truck and we were nervous about the logistics and having a reliable tow company to work with. Our truck overheats and we have avoided driving long distance and high elevation locations. I'm so glad we chose Jake's Towing, we couldn't have asked for a better and more professional company to work with. Jake himself drove us there and back. He was there on time on the dot. If you have a big or small towing job give these guys a call.
Towed a car I sold 3 years ago sold it at auction and told me not to worry about it since it was never re registered. Sent me to collections for 1900 without ever asking for payment. Guess the car sale wasn’t enough. Greedy and unfriendly people. Called and tried to work with them. Deal with anyone but these guys they suuuuuuck. Thanks for nothing. I have heard the horror stories of tow companies ripping people off if their vehicle was impounded. Never thought in my life it would happen to me, I went through this recently and Jakes towing was called to impound my car, The driver was professional and offered me information to follow up. I kept in touch and Jake's towing was patient with me to gather necessary documents to retrieve the rest of my belongings. the car sat for a month in their yard. I went to retrieve my belongings and the car was not even touched. The guys in the yard were cool, professional and patient. Thanks again,

I had my vehicle towed here and have been calling almost every day to speak to Tyler and never got a response or call back regarding the situation with my vehicle! Then I learned that my vehicle was broken into and stereo is gone??? I had a very nice and expensive sound system in there for Christ sakes!!!! What kinda business is this anyway and now it's highly expensive to get it out!! I feel like I've been given the run around and around again especially since everyone I spoke to said they don't know anything about anything and to call back the following day even after each time I left my name and number including a message to have someone with authority to call me back??? I worked for a tow company previously, I know what's going on, which is morally wrong and unprofessional and would appreciate at least a call back from the owners to help me as this is my only vehicle and a work vehicle at that and now have sustained a major financial loss, work, and has plummeted my lifestyle.... On top of having my personal property ripped off, I SMH and hope that this matter is not overlooked...

Horrible they quoted me for one price gave me an ETA the tow truck guy calls gives me a price that's double and I say okay that's fine then gives me every excuse for why he doesn't want to do it and even says it's going to be too dark around 5:15 PM and basically just bails on me I've never heard of anything like this, this is your job and nothing is easy. Wouldn't recommend these guys.
I had a breakdown on I80 and was referred to this company by the dealership to do repairs. Lady who answered phone had several questions which were necessary to assure my vehicle could be towed and tow driver was preparred to tow. She was professional and polite. Company owner showed up for tow. He was obviously experienced and competant. My heavy truck and trailer were towed safely to the repair shop. Told my insurance company they can tow my car in about an hour. Three hours later have not showed up. Person on the phone was very unhelpful. Should not have accepted the job if they did not have the capability.
As a business owner myself I truly appreciate Jake's Towing for the good work they have done for us as well as a fair price. Very responsive each time we have needed them. Good service always.
