The stuff is very friendly and will greet you with a warm welcoming smile.
They are so honest in their work and operate the most accurate scale.
They keep the place so clean with their power wash machine. The containers are always kept superbly clean.
I highly recommend going to this Recycling Centre.

I was there last Friday and I brought some bottles that didn’t have the mark Or the tag that says it was bought in Costcobecause At home sometimes we try to take that off so the bottle will look clear When we drink it. I apparently noticed the workers were taking off those bottles and putting them in a different container and I asked why are you taking that off, and the other guy in the back was saying we don’t take those things to buy because as a rule we need to have the tags on. In any recycles Company and by rule on consumer reports I don’t see any rule that says that. So I watched what was happening after. The other guy who separated the bottles to a different container still calculated the price that I brought As $18.55, he made me sign the paper that I have received that amount but when he handed me the money. It was just $18.15.. I didn’t bother to say anything because I don’t want any argument in front of other people.,, I will just post this so that others won’t be deceived by these men. And I brought some of the others like other plastics and the guy again in the back said we take those but we don’t pay for it. Whoever owns this company should check on his new people or his workers because this is unfair. We go to other recycle companies, and I never have encountered anything like this before. Also, I saw it on your website that there is a washing station, I don’t see any of that so please take that down, but you still have it.
I write very good reviews and if I see something bad Or wrong I’ll speak about it.
The bad bottles (without the labels) I mentioned were weighed in together with the so-called proper ones (The ones with labels), The amount of money was calculated after Weighing everything, And the workers put the bad ones with the good ones together and included them in the pile of junk And was NOT thrown out… He made me sign the form of how much it was, and I should’ve taken a picture of it, but I didn’t, But the kid only paid me a few dollars OFF the amount they actually have me. sign for I’m very frustrated. I don’t wanna argue anymore. I just left the place.
If you're new to recycling and honestly even just looking for a good recycling place, this place has exceeded all of my expectations. They have always been kind literally every single time I've gone, some places seem to have a chip on their shoulder but this place is so nice!!! Their prices are also reasonable, they are nice when it comes to weighing, and they accept I think just about any type of plastic and glass. They also have a nice little shade spot to be in when you're waiting for the weigh in, and plenty of parking. If I could give them 10 stars I would!
I arrived at 5:32 there was 3 people in line but I was told they close at 5:30 and they can't do anything past that... But yet there was 3 people in line so that is a bunch of garbage.. anyway this was my first and last time I'll go here I also think I'm going to file a complaint against with the better business bureau as well as the California recycle program. I would give zero star if I could
Great bunch of guys...friendly...helpful... at one point, I had a plastic bottle in with the aluminum cans...I was told it was worth $.10...suddenly I realized I needed to include a tip with our exchange. Tip them is you can.

They really have stopped paying the same I'm not sure what has changed but everytime I go I get less and less .. My cans and bottles stay really close to the same amount but the pay out is drastically different. Ca wants to charge us 5 or 10 cents they should pay it all back as long as we bring them it it should be illegal
I have been to several places to do my recycling of cans and bottles. It's gone gone to Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, Citrus Heights, Orangeval, Fair Oaks even Rio Lunda, but this place has been the best, most honest, friendly, helpful and doesn't stink like some of them. There is a water jug to rinse your hands and lots of rubber trash cans, they will even come help if they're not too busy. I highly recommend this place
I recently visited this recycling center to drop off old electronics and household waste. The staff was incredibly helpful and made the process quick and easy. Today was my first time visiting Ivan's Recycling since I recently moves to Sac area 2 yrs ago. The young gentlemen that help me move my cans was very polite along with the rest of the staff fast and easy service. Highly recommend for your recycling needs.
Amazing my 1st visit the young men working in 109 degrees were very friendly and helpful. I use to do their job when I worked for replanet and nexcycle I finally founf an honest place to turn in recycling. Thank you for great service.
I only recycle at Ivan's Recycling in Citrus Heights, Ca because Ivan and his crew are honest, polite, friendly, helpful and positive!

I have tried many recycling places and this one is still my go to place. Ivan is often there working along with his employees. Always friendly, his crew will lend a hand if they see you have no help. They never try to rip you off, there is no crazy rules, one place I went to in El Dorado Hills the lady said all caps off and caps went in a big tub. The caps weigh more than the bottle. I know she was cashingvin on that money while rip people off by doing that. This place is great.
I keep coming back to Ivan's Recycling again and again. The friendliness and helpfulness constantly provided be employees here is refreshing. The positive company culture displayed here is outstanding. I highly recommend doing as much of your recycling as you can ay Ivan's Recycling.
I’ve been to a few recycling places in the area, this one is by far the cleanest and customer service was great! The two young men were helpful! Also, when I called to confirm their business hours, THEY ANSWERED the phone! Would recommend this place and will come back!
Great center for recycling. Clean and easily accessible. The young men and women who work there are very hard working, efficient, and polite. Happy to support a business that helps young men and women learn the value of a days work!
Truly honest people, location is a godsend but I would still drive far to come here. They keep it clean and provide hand cleaning as well.Parking has never been a problem as there is plenty of space and can accommodate a multitude of vehicles. None of the workers are lazy and are constantly on the move and helping each other and even customers at times. Prices have always been more than fair and I leave satisfied every time I visit.
I had a great experience yesterday while turning in my recycling. The people there were friendly and very helpful. I was struggling a bit getting my containers over to the scale, one of the employees came right over and helped! Definitely planning on going back!
For those of you that regularly visit recycling centers, its worth the extra time to drive here if your not close. I've been going for a couple years now and the staff is always working hard to keep the turn around quick and keep the place clean and orderly. I probably pass 3 or 4 other centers on my way to Ivan's, and the little bit of extra time in driving but so worth it. If you recycle for cash and haven't visited Ivan's, I recommend giving them a try.
Wonderful environment clean location! The crew that work here likes Coke and Rootbeer; if ya want to tip them!

Best recycling center I've been to so far, and this is how I make my money in my daily life. They know who I am when I pull up and always help me out. Plus I never feel like I'm not getting paid my full amount. I don't understand how to read those signs and what not that say what the going rate is for all that material but everywhere else I find myself questioning the judgment of the center, not Ivan's though. I'm always satisfied when I leave here! Heading over there now!
The other day I visited the place again. They gave me a valet service for my “garbage”. I was pleasantly surprised... again. They keep making new “tricks” to make it a memorable customer experience. The place is clean and inviting in more than one way. All the guys are super nice. I live close to a different recycling center but always choose to come here. I wish they could multiply.
They were awesome!! My mom and I had a lot of recycling and they helped us sort them, it made the job so much faster. They are so accommodating to their customers that they even have a hand washing station (with really nice soap). No other recycling center has been so nice and helpful.
This place is hands down the cleanest and well organized recycling center I’ve ever gone to. Ivan was instantly responsive when I arrived, even while helping another individual. Super kind, thorough about prices, offered a hand cleaning station to use afterwards, and a hand shake at the end for doing business with them. Definitely going back next time.
I just dropped some plastics off today, and I am really impressed with this recycling center! It is small but clean and well-run, and it is actually closer to my home than the place where I used to take my recyclables. However, what impressed me the most was the customer service- the young man in charge (I assume that was Ivan?) was SO POLITE! He helped me unload the bags of plastics and was very pleasant- it was such a refreshing change from the other recycling center I used to take my bottles to. Really good customer service like this is worth a thousand stars in my book! This will be my new go-to place for recycling!
