I’m very happy to have came across this AutoZone location . The store was very clean and welcoming . Alexis greeted me with a friendly demeanor . She addressed easily my concerns. Weston came next and took his time to remove my battery. He put me instantly at ease by going the extra mile to test the actual alternator. I am greatful for not only his outstanding customer service but knowledge base as well . Thank you again Weston for your help and education about not only batteries but battery life . Do not hesitate to go to this location should you have any concerns regarding your vehicle . 5 stars all across the board !

Got a bad battery dated 12/23 They won't warranty cause I don't know the original phone number tied to it absolutely assinine to orielys i go from now on Edit: they requested i reach out directly so I did. Said I'd hear back in 24-48 hours. It's been 6 days and nothing. I'll stand my review

I bought an order online and tried to return the order to this local store. Upon arriving the said their computer did not connect to the system and they couldn’t do anything despite personally speaking to a online rep who said I just needed to bring the transaction number and store number which I had. Not only was the store supervisor unwilling to call her manager to resolve the situation she hardly made any effort at all. She advised me to go somewhere else. After forcing her to call customer service I ultimately received a refund but not before waiting 2 hours in the store. Im Very frustrated that a company like AutoZone where I have shopped for years won’t try harder for their customers

These guys were very kind & helpful. I came in after an oil change with news that I might need a new battery. Carl D tested my battery and confirmed that I did. He found the right battery for me & even installed it! Carl was very professional & easy to talk to. I was in & out & back on the road in no time. Much appreciated kindness with all of the staff Thank you so much!

So I called autozone on fair oaks Blvd in Carmichael around 6:30 PM tonight and asked questions about needing a battery replaced. The women who answered the phone was not pleasant and sounded like she needed to get off the phone. I can understand someone being busy because believe me my line of work is very demanding, but my patience would never know it or hear it over the phone. When I was telling her the make and model of my car, she asked the engine size, I didn’t know it so I asked how do I find this out? She replies with pop your hood and there’s a piece of paper underneath the hood and you’ll find it…… I said OK I guess I’ll give you a call back. She said OK and hung up the phone. I called back and she answered again and let her know the size of the engine and then she says yes we have the battery that fits your car it’s &259 plus tax. I told her I can’t afford that battery. I need to get the cheapest you have. She replies with a huff…well if you’re going to get the cheapest one I can’t install it today. You’ll have to wait a week. And it’s hot outside it won’t hold a charge I said so if I were to purchase the expensive battery, you would be able to install it today.?? And she says ok these are the expensive batteries that we have…she must not have understood what I said, because she started naming all these batteries and giving me all the prices for these batteries and naming all the benefits for these batteries. I ended up interrupting her and I told her look I am a single mom on a single income, trying to support my family. I CANNOT afford the expensive one so I need to go with the one that can afford. She says all right. You’ll have to bring it down to see if I can even change it out because there are some batteries we can’t do….. After that phone call, it completely rubbed me the wrong way. She was rude, and I couldn’t believe the things that were coming out of her mouth to be honest. i could tell that the woman knew I was irritated, especially after I asked about buying the more expensive battery and installing it today because she did try to backtrack and try to be nice but it was a little too late., when she made the comment about me buying the cheap battery there was no coming back from that. it’s like look, lady. I know that buying the cheap stuff isn’t always the best but when you can’t afford it, you can’t afford it, when I’m trying to keep a roof over my child’s head and food in their belly sometimes you gotta go with the cheaper alternatives So I called O’Reilly RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET gave them my car information and they were able to look up my car and let me know that you know what it says it may be difficult to install but bring it down here anyways and let’s see what we can do because I can normally do it, and we do you have batteries in store that fit your car. They were never rude on the phone. They didn’t sound like they were trying to get me off the phone…. So I Went to O’Reilly they had the battery and they were able to install it in the same day …AND IN THE HEAT!!! They never tried to upsell me on the more expensive batteries, they gave me a few batteries to choose from and gave me their prices. Once I picked the one that I wanted they never gave me a hard time about it being the cheapest battery. They rung me up. I paid and they changed out the battery all in under 30 minutes. I will never go to AutoZone again , or at least not the one on fair Oaks Boulevard. I really wish I would’ve got the woman’s name so I can put it in this review. And I can guarantee you when the managers talk to her about these reviews. I’m about to leave on yelp and Google. She’s going to remember this conversation with me. But I’m sure she will talk her way out of it.

I don't have a ton of experience with auto parts stores I've been on a motorcycle for most of my adult life. But the staff at 4 or 5 of Sacramentos AutoZones has been extremely knowledgeable and kind. Never had a issue with any unprofessional behavior at all. And in today's world we live in it's hard getting good or even descent customer service unfortunately. And in a world where bad news sells better than good news I thought I better take a few minutes to give praise for the good work.! Ive walked into several stores and the staff is joking and laughing and I walk in and literally shout what the heck is going on here? Employees don't joke and laugh together is this how this place operates? It's good to see. Iv been to a AutoZone every day for the last 2 weeks in Sacramento. *In closing: I want to make sure this gets noticed. But I had made it to auburn Blvd store to charge a battery for my 2005 Land Rover but had no way to get back! And the store manager Jeff H. Offered to take me back to my Rover In his personal vehicle! The ride was 1.4 miles and I was shocked. And it made the day alot easier for me. * Last night the same dilemma came upon me again. I have had ways to get back to my vehicle but these two store managers just made it easier and faster relieving more stress. Last night was Mr Weber at store 4045 I believe on Fair oaks Blvd. So please make sure they get a special nod at the Xmas dinner! I'm well aware of O'Reilly auto parts. But it seems to me that people always mention AutoZone first and I truly believe they see AutoZone as a bar above the other competitors. And I've been inside the other companies and the stores are not as clean and organized. Thank you for your time. I have over 20 years in various retail operations and mostly that's in loss prevention,employee and customer safety, internal investigations and special assignments with opening stores and closing stores nation wide. I've had nothing but a positive experience with this location the staff are all very pleasant the reason for the five stars specifically is for Johnny the manager as well as Troy they have gone way above and beyond for me ( a single mom with little knowledge of car related complications) I mean really have gone out of there way to help me figure out a very complex, complicated & extremely confusing situation that's almost reached it's finish line I appreciate them more than words can express I will only go to this location from no on

This store is the best! They were able to get me a new battery fully installed in the 105 degree heat and save me some money on top of it. All the workers were super friendly and the manager went out of his way to help me out. I will be coming back for sure

We got here with severely corroded battery terminals and a wrong battery that the dealer put in, Raul was able to clean the corrosion and utilize multiple different tools to get the terminals off of the battery without breaking them and advised us where to get new ones. Really dope guy and great customer service

My day started badly but Aaron & Trevor put a smile on my face. Trevor was great at answering my questions and explaining the difference in products to me enabling me to make a good decision on which one was best for me. Aaron jumped him to install my battery for me and then taught me how to change my wiper blades myself. Both men were great and their personality was so pleasant. Glad I stopped by this place instead of going somewhere else. I definitely got my money's worth here.

Aaron was incredible with how far out of his way he went to help me change the battery out of my car. He was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and generous. I will absolutely be going to this particular Autozone every time that I need car parts. It was a fantastic experience and Aaron and Tony are the reason for that.

They were somewhat effective and I had them had my battery checked the girl that came outside okay then I had somebody come and check my alternator my alternator said no way it turns out that my alternator and my battery both need to be replaced oh it's so much cheaper from somewhere else when I had another location that they told me they had it in stock if I went there that location knew nothing of what they spoke of and after going back and forth while sitting in front of the location that told me they had it at the Folsom store I realize the people in this place don't know what they are doing so I ordered online to Riley's Auto and then went to another location to get it cancelled my order on O'Reilly's how did the next day at Auto quest

I had the best experiences with manager Erin!! I came in to get a diagnostic test done on one of my vehicles, as well as to purchase jumper cables. I didn’t see any on the wall I was directed to, so I asked Erin if there were any in the back at all, and unfortunately there wasn’t. He care enough to ask about the situation I was in, and when I explained that I just needed to jump one of my other cars at my house a few minutes down the road in order to get it to a car shop, he went out on a limb for me and allowed me to borrow their shops jumper cables!! It is rare to come across someone who is willing to put their trust in a complete stranger, so it is not something I take lightly. The cables worked beautifully, and I returned them. The following day, I ended up needing to bring the car in that I just had to jump the day prior in for a diagnostic test as well, and the car started up just fine to get me there. When he plugged the device in, the device wouldn’t do a reading on the vehicle. Erin could’ve simply said it isn’t working and walked away, but instead, he took the time to investigate the problem, and moved some plugs around in the control panel, which enabled the device to do the reading. I was so grateful for all his help, and went to leave. Well…the car didn’t start. I came back into the store and let Erin know my car now won’t start back up again, as I had nobody nearby to come and give me a jump to get home. At this point I felt like the biggest “problem customer” in the universe, but he didn’t make me feel as such whatsoever! He gladly did what he had to do to get my car started back up! Mind you, he was still taking care of other customers while all this was happening, and the car not starting back up was definitely a “me problem” that he certainly didn’t have to help with, but he gladly insisted to. I am blown away by Erin’s customer service, and caring heart to help out his customers! I will only be coming to this Auto Zone location from here on out! THANK YOU ERIN!!! You are a life saver.

We were having a troublesome battery in our Ford Edge…took it to the Autozone in Carmichael and had great customer service. The store manager Aaron was particularly helpful in installing the battery. He even noticed that the battery seemed to be weak in our key fob. Changed that out and it works like a champ. Highly recommend working with them.

I went into this location after going to 2 others, I needed desperately a battery they only had in stock, Aaron went above and beyond helping me get it installed although it was a difficult lengthy installation. Aaron deserve a raise or a bonus to say the least, @ Autozone please keep and reward good employees like him. The world needs more Aaron’s !!!

Went in to get new windshield wipers. Karina was so helpful in helping me find the correct type of wipers for my car and Aaron was so kind as to install them for me. Excellent service will definitely return for my future car needs.

You'll get what you need, manager is helpfull but its always like pulling a leg when I asked for help other employees. They will walk away on you, turn around and start a conversation with someone else or get.involved into something else while helping you. Overall, enough to get you what you need but not a great customer experience if thats what you need.

Called the store to ask if they have a tool I needed. Obviously, there are people working there for this purpose? “Trevor” answered and said he has a lot of tools and I could come in and look for it myself. Auto zone was already my last resort, for auto parts. Thanks Trevor for putting the nail in the coffin! You are one of the many tools in the store.

I didn't have time to go recycling center so I stopped by this Autozone and an old man (unfortunately I can't remember his name) welcomed me and helped me with the recycling. super nice guy very helpful and professional took me less than 5 minutes.

My check engine light is on. Went to Auto Zone to use their gadget to tell me why the check engine light was on. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work. So embarrassing. But the sales clerk willingly came and did it for me after my 3 failed attempts. Now that is great customer service!

Gabe at store 4045 in fair oaks is the best. Professional at all times. Very knowledgeable and will go out of his way to help a customer. He is the walking definition for customer service.
