I had been going to this recycling box for at least a year and everything was fine fora while, until they hired new guys to work there. I noticed that even though i was taking the same amount of crushed cans my payout was becoming smaller and smaller. So i did an experiment, i took ten bags and got $77 and change. The next day i took the same amount of bags plus an additional bag, my payout? An additional $0.54. The time before that i got home and counted my money and realized i was ten dollars short, so i went right back and let them know about it. The kid tried to tell me he counted it in front of me (he didnt) so he went to give me the rest of my money and happen to have a ten dollar bill sitting next to his cash box. Take that for what you will, but if i were you i wouldnt waste my time here. Find a reputable recycling spot, ill never be going back
I drove 30 minutes in traffic to get to this place just for their rude staff to say they are full. They often are full and shady not letting you look at the scale. Receipts are poorly printed if at all. Last time I was there they left out a stack of my bottles right in front of them and were annoyed I pointed out their mistake. I won’t bother driving out there again.
Today I brought my bottles to recycle. They did not let me see the scale, so I came closer to see for myself. They were not very nice about it. They told me I had to asked them nicely; and also told me not to come back there again. Finally the receipt is so lightly printed I can not read the weight on it or the price paid.
The employees are nice, especially considering the job. But it is frustrating that this location is always out of space. I would have to keep coming multiple days, which wastes time and gas.
I feel I was scammed, they weighed the basket and never showed me the amount display. What should have been fourty pounds ended up being.paid for ten only.
The staff is polite, I suggest you ask to see the weight display.
I brought a bunch of bags of cans and plastic bottles and only got $24 what the heck. That was at least $80 worth. But the young man that works there was nice
I showed up at 4:30 on Sunday July 10th and the door was a little open so I knocked on the door cause it says its open till 5 and he was hiding in there like a weirdo.
Excellent place. Sort before you come and you're in and out. The guys there will make you come back here... Still smiling late afternoon on a Saturday in our heat.
