In the picture attached to this review you would see Mario. Mario doesn't like his job and makes sure you - the customer know about from how he'll treat you. When I got into the store today instead of a greetings I got.. and I quote: "there is a limit of oil draining capacity of 2 gallons. I could take one of them but that will be all". Mario is referring to the two jugs of oil that I brought with me to drain. We had a short conversation about the fact this is my local store I come here often to drain oil I was never told there is an oil drainage limit and I was explaining that in any case the two combine does not have 2 gallons. For some reason he kept insisting that he can help me drain the bigger one of the two and that will be it. When I kept asking why if there is a 2 gallon limit and I'm under the limit I cannot join them both? What I got as an answer was that Mario denies my drainage and chooses to bully the store customer. What happens next is nothing less than AMAZING! I drive to the next store which is 4 minutes away I get in with the same two jugs, no one asks me anything they take the two and they drain them and give them back empty. I then go on and asking them about a limit per customer and they're confirming there is a limit but the limit is 5 gal and that limit will be Nationwide for all the stores. I guess all the stores that Mario doesn't work at.

Great customer service, helped me find everything I needed in less then 10 mins. And was very knowledgeable on explaining what I needed to resolve my issue with my vehicle. Highly recommend going there if you need anything for your vehicles.

I called before getting there to see if they could help me to install wiper blades to my car. As soon as i got there Elvis was very helpful and even went outside to help with the installation without any hesitation he instantly installed them and even offered to put windshield washer fluid to my car. It feels great customer service after last stop before coming home after a long work day! Thank-you Elvis!

I went to auto zone today and had a good experience with the young employee overall, unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he helped me change my car battery but during the process the Manager Mario proceeded to interrupt and spoke to the employee in a way a manager shouldn’t do so because he decided to help me. As a customer perspective I truly believe the person in charge considered to be a role model and have patience shouldn’t be treating their employees in such way.

I went to the 14460 Newport Ave, Tustin branch with battery trouble. Steve asked the right questions and found the perfect battery to suit my needs, then came out to the parking lot and replaced the battery for me (was kind of hard to access in the trunk too)! Also his candor was very honest, friendly, and straight to the point. I highly recommend this place.

I bought battery for Mr car and they delivered it. They charge me for delivery and core deposit. Unfortunately the battery was defective. They swap it for me with another one. But they refused to refund me my core because they said after swap it. I lost the core and uber rental of 45 dollars. It’s not my mistake because they sold my defective battery

I just rolled into AutoZone, store 5541, to get some new wipers since Hillary has arrived and she’s dumping lots of rain. Richard not only helped me pick out wipers that would serve me well, but was also more than willing to put them on my car…IN THE RAIN!!! Bless him! I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at your 13721 Newport Ave Ste 10 Tustin, CA, 92780 on Wednesday, January 29th. I purchased a product online, selecting the most expensive option based on the fitment information provided on your website. However, upon receiving it, I discovered that the product did not fit my vehicle. Naturally, I attempted to return it, as the mistake was due to incorrect information on AutoZone’s website. Upon visiting the store, I encountered shockingly poor customer service. The employee assisting me—a young man in his mid-twenties with dark hair and Mexican ethnicity—was unprofessional and dismissive. He repeatedly called me “bro” and refused to process my return solely because I had opened the product. How else was I supposed to determine that it didn’t fit? When I pointed out that the error was on AutoZone’s website, he responded with, “Did you come to the store? No? So the website is not working,” effectively dismissing any responsibility for the mistake. To make matters worse, he claimed the manager was unavailable and sarcastically suggested I “complain to myself.” This interaction left me with such a negative impression that I will not be using AutoZone again. It is deeply concerning that a company of AutoZone’s size allows employees to undermine its own website and disregard customer concerns. I hope customer support will take this issue seriously by addressing both the website’s accuracy and the unacceptable behavior of this employee. Customers should not be penalized for trusting the information provided on your website, nor should they be treated with such disrespect when seeking a resolution. I expect a prompt response and a fair resolution to this matter

Absolute unacceptable experience. Today 9/28 instore @ 2:20 i came to return a part i did NOT use and the cashier that gave me the name "Ariel " tall , dark hair. Said the part had been used i absolutely know this part is 1000% New , i asked him for his manager and she said that it was used so i asked her to bring another part from the back to prove it looks the same and she rudely said no i don't want to do that. She was very hostile and failed to represent the positive presentation auto zone has had. No one should be treated like this it's a shame. I did not stay to argue with them nor reach their level of attitude, i simply left because i KNOW it's new, no use in arguing over that, i did not expect walking into auto zone being treated like that and i asked the manager for her name and she said she did not need to give it to me, why would she not give me her name? Because she new she messed up?or because i will contact corporate? I will attach pictures of the items out of the bag

I rarely leave reviews but I have to give the manager Steve C. his props. I went to AutoZone to get my battery checked because my car was having trouble starting after I just changed out 2 new starter Steve C helped me out, he was very nice and knowledgeable about his cars and his car parts. I truly appreciate his help and good customer service. Everytime I go there I want him to help me Thank you so much Steve C. you're the best.

Came in to have someone help me diagnose my battery, and George did not disappoint. He knows what he's doing, extremely helpful and kind. Incredible service, the kindness was so appreciated. Car trouble is stressful and he made it that much easier to deal.

My right headlight blew out on my 2005 Lexus ES 330 on Sunday, 9/22/24 so I went to the Autozone on Newport Ave. at about 7:00 pm to buy a replacement bulb. I went to the end of the line of 12 people. The clerk told me to go outside to the parking lot where my car was to take a picture of my license plate, then the manager told the clerk to go get the plate, but the clerk left and told me the manager would help me, but I went outside and took the picture anyway. The manager was very busy helping all the customers and he said he would help me, which he did pretty quickly. I showed him the picture I took and said I did not mind going outside and taking it. I asked the manager his name, he said Steve. He told me to start the car and turn on my lights. He went in to get the bulb and I paid him, he gave me my receipt and he offered to install it for me, and while he did I told him how impressed I was that he quickly helped so many customers and still installed my light and made sure it was working properly. Steve said he sent the employee home because he should've helped me. I told Steve thank you and said I am going to write you a good review for excellent customer service, and this is it. Everyone is super nice and willing to help you out. But i did have a problem as Ricardo sold me wrong alternator. I was worried about my car in the beginning because I didn't know what was wrong with it. So, this made it worst. But STEVE was amazing, thank you Steve!!! He stayed over time just to solve this problem for me and figuring out what was the best alternator for my car! Not only that, but he was checking on me the next day to see how things were going, and to let me know how things were going to fly the next day. He told me who to talk to and what to say, as i dont know much about the issue i was having. He was so helpful and I appreciate him so much for doing that. Thanks to you my car is running smoothly!!

I had a FANTASTIC experience today at this location. I went in to purchase a few things and George the store manager, was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and even helped me install my window wipers! George went above and beyond, providing the best customer service that I have ever received! Thanks to George this AutoZone location has earned a customer for life. I personally can see George as a district manager, ensuring multiple locations in SoCal are held to such a high standard. It would be very good for business. Thanks again George!

I have to say I have never felt more put at ease than with Jorge G. at the Tustin store location. He was so patient and helpful with all of my issues. I have almost no knowledge with cars and he took the time to explain and workout my issues and questions. He was a real hero for me and my family. You no have a life long customer thanks to his knowledge and customer service. Thank you, Jorge!!
