It's the only place in Orange county that won't give you a price over the phone for copper what a joke. Sounds like a scammer to me probably give you a $1.50 a pound. Don't go to this place
I've been here a couple of times, and the first time, I was so scared and confused because i didn't know what to do. But I'm so happy the man was so helpful. I didn't have a lot of cans, so he told me it's better if I separated 50 in each bag to get my money's worth.
I’ve been taking my recycling here because my mom always came there growing up and I’d go with her. It’s quick. Easy. The guys are pretty helpful when you need it.
Okay, I showed up exactly at closing time 4:30pm. I had to practically cry to be allowed to recycle my 2 big bags of cans and bottles. But the one gentleman was super nice and helped me get it separated. I only got $16.07 back but I think that's what I expected. Thank you much to the nice gentleman who was kind to me.
So I recently changed out a catalytic converter on my truck and called to see if they would recycle my old one. The lady on the phone answered, I asked my question, she put me on hold right after, then came back and the she asked how I could be helped. I asked my question yet again and as soon as she realized I was asking about recycling a catalytic converter, her teeth came out, and she immediately became very rude trying to immediately end the conversation.
I get that there's a lot of converter thefts going on so places aren't taking them but there's no need to be so rude on the phone. I definitely won't be coming here. Other reviewers weren't kidding about the rude lady on the phone!
Called to see about getting some prices and the lady that answered the phone was VERY VERY RUDE! Would not recommend going there, can only imagine how she would treat people in person. Oh yeah and she refused to give me prices she said that they have to see it. Typical..
Very helpful and willing to help u out even if it's a few minutes past 4:30pm (closing) they were still pretty cool and didn't treat us poorly unlike other recycling centers near by.
Not the highest payout for recycling, and very limited hours, but it is the only one right in this neighborhood, so...
I guess they can get away with it, although it's really kinda not cool to do so..
Great place to recycle if you come already with separated items. Fast service, just one way in one way out makes it hard to come out but besides that great place to make some cash recycling.
They denied my entrance DURING business hours. I got there close to closing, but within plenty of time to conduct my transaction (15 mins prior) and a gentleman that barely spoke English denied my entrance. I asked several times very nicely and respectfully because it was very important for me to handle this business today since I don't have a lot of available or flexible time. The company was unwilling to work with me. I have been coming to this recycle center for the last 20 years and they just lost a faithful customer.
Very limited parking. Employee are rude. Don't know how to talk to people. Also same applies to the old guy sit behind the glass. (cashier). Won't go again.
Took in clean 316LSS. they used this big magnet and said it wasn't stainless...lol Simply because the magnet stuck to it (Hey idiot, don't you rekize machined SS becomes machined creats a magnetic field) This 316LSS body to purchase new is $2,800. They wouldn't take it for scrap. What a Joke
These people are crooks! I just got $0.35 a pound for a clean copper and aluminum radiator. The going rate is between $0.79 (dirty) and $1.05 (clean). That's unbelievable! What a shame, what a sham. Avoid this place, any place is better than this!! Crooks, plain and simple.
I would give this a negative star but to bad that not possible. The website says they close at 5 pm. That's incorrect I went shortly after 4:00 pm and they were closed! No one was even on the property anymore! This really sucks when you rush home from work grab your recyclables and have to haul everything back home during rush hour! Thanks for nothing so frustrating I will not be attempting to return here since their website is unreliable.
