The service here is excellent. We need to tow our car to the auto shop. Mike came to us so fast and cheerful. He checked out the car then let us know that we only needed a new battery. Mike helped us save a lot of money. Thanks again Mike

Super disappointed with this company and their inconsiderate staff. I was stuck on the road for over 6 hours waiting for them just to be told that they decided they weren’t going to come and to figure it out with AAA. They refused to take responsibility, hung up one me and stopped answering my calls. Completely unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. If I could give them a 0 stars I would, make sure you steer far away from this place.
If you get assigned through AAA cancel the service they will make you wait hours and they won’t show up. They are unprofessional and lazy I will be reporting them
AAA used this tow company to dispatch a tow truck twice and both times the tow was cancelled without them notifying me. I was called regarding the first driver and told he was 7 minutes away and to meet him outside. Then the request was cancelled. I had to call Action to inquire and find out they had to dispatch another driver from the same location 30+ minutes away. 2nd truck was cancelled without reason and no call. AAA then dispatched a 3rd tow truck from another company. I ended up waiting 3 hours for a tow because Action didn't come through and wasted my time. I hope AAA doesn't send a future tow request to this company. Communication is key and when they cancel the driver for any reason they should immediately reach out to the patiently waiting customer.
Juan Baltazar was a life saver! He responded very quickly and had me on my way in a flash. He was respectful efficient and a great representative for Action Southland Towing and AAA.
These people that run this tow truck company and the drivers Jerry and Josh need to be fired! They are extremely rude with zero customer service skills. Terrible company! Do not use!
I have had AAA for years and just had the BEST experience every from Jerry. He was fast, friendly, and VERY professional. Its rare these days to come across someone like Jerry. If I ever need to use again I am definitely requesting him.
Needed a flatbed tow service provided by AAA and ended up with Action Towing. The service was top notch, they picked me up got me home in about 40 minutes..My driver Daniel did a great job and was very professional. I’d recommend Action towing for anyone looking for a professional Tow service. AAAAA
I had Action Southland assigned to my AAA battery service request on Monday. Chris replaced the battery. Chris ensured the radio would turn on after 15 minutes of driving and left. It is now Friday, my radio is still not working. After speaking with Jim, the manager, I was advised to take my car to a Honda dealership for diagnostics. The dealership confirmed that the entire radio unit had been fried. Despite this happening right after their $200 battery installation, Jim and Action Southland refuse to take any responsibility.
I strongly recommend avoiding Action Southland if they're assigned to your service request. Now, I’m facing $5,000 in damages because of their negligence.
Used the service thru AAA got quoted a time and didn't come thru. I contacted them for am updated eta and mentioned they couldn't give me one. Use someone else if you are looking for reliability and keeping time.
Didn’t show up to tow my car and blamed triple a for “not letting us know you would meet us at the drop off site”. I told the tow truck driver himself when we spoke 2 minutes after I got off the phone with triple A. 4 hours later I call asking where tf my car is and the driver ghosted us, didn’t even call. And also, my car was at a repair shop which was open and the owner was waiting for him to come to load the car. Incompetent people who love to waste your time.
Tonight, I needed assistance with a flat tire. Chris Pacheco called only about 5 minutes after I placed the request via AAA, to let me know that he was on his way. Sure enough, after less than another ten minutes, he arrived. He greeted me with a smile, and he got right to work on helping to replace the very flat tire with my spare. Because nothing is ever just-that-simple, accessing the spare required a tool that I didn't have in the car with me, so he figured out a way to lower the spare safely. Within only a few more minutes, he had finished everything, correctly, neatly, and completely. All the while, his demeanor was friendly, professional, very competent, and reassuring. Highest rating for the technician and for this service!

Enter Mike Sullivan, the technician assigned to assist me. From the outset, his demeanor was not just unprofessional but shockingly dismissive. He blatantly stated that towing my vehicle was a “hassle” he was unwilling to deal with. This outright refusal to perform a basic job duty was bewildering and frustrating.
But it didn’t end there. Mike Sullivan attitude escalated from mere unhelpfulness to outright rudeness. His blunt, abrasive manner of speaking was jarring. Every interaction was laced with an air of disdain, leaving me feeling disrespected and belittled as a customer. It was as if my request for service, something I assumed was a routine part of their business, was an unwelcome burden.

Shane A was dispatched by AAA to change my shredded tire. He arrived at my location in just under 10 minutes. He was super nice, got the job done really fast, made sure all my tires were aired up, and checked the condition of my other tires. An all around great asset to your service. Action-Southland Towing is def my new go to service!!!!
I had called AAA because I heard my tire puncture on the road. I was quoted a 30 minute wait period by them. As soon as I hung up with AAA I got a call from the tow service that they would be at my location in 10 minutes. According to the site Matthew got there in less time and quickly and efficiently changed my tire. He was very friendly and I appreciated how fast he came to my rescue.
My tow truck driver was the best. Very prompt called me to tell me where he was which is calming when you are stuck on a gore point on the freeway. And he knew the area very well. Great professional with a real nice personality. He was great. Great experience overall from Action Tow

I've had bad experiences with OTHER drivers, but not this one. He was amazing and helped make a bad day much better. It's never a good day when you have to get your car towed to a shop.
I was stranded in my vehicle, it broke down with issues I wasn't sure about. The driver was kind, efficient, and got moving. He even directed the cars to go around me because I couldn't move, cars get impatient and start honking, very silly when one is broken down not much you can do. I am thankful I have this service through AAA. And thankful the driver was a true man of kindness and wanting to help me!
Driver was courteous and professional. He checked to make sure my vehicle was ok to be hauled and when it was delivered to my Local Pep Boys shop, he was in communication with the site to find where he can safety discharge my vehicle. Adam did a wonderful job. He was friendly and informative. He diagnosed the problem with my starter, got the car started, checked the battery and alternator, and advised me what repairs were needed. Very knowledgeable tech, and even called in advance to let me know his arrival time.
Raul was great: friendly, fast, and efficient. He kept in communication as he was en route so I knew exactly when he would arrive. He tested my battery (it was dead) and had a new one installed within 20 mins or so. A great company and a great employee.
My toe guy was Alfredo, he was so sweet! He saw that I was visibly upset so he offered me a hug which I gratefully accepted and made me feel better. He also got my spare tire on quick so that I could be on my way to pick up my daughter. it was about 11 PM on Friday night, I was in Santa Ana on a dark street and I was beside myself, he got me going quick and safely. I hope he doesn't get in trouble for offering a hug because he helped restore my faith in humanity. His empathy was above and beyond his call of duty and the world needs more people like him.

Impeccable customer service. They had a minor bug in their system so that had us held up for a bit, but the guy was super friendly and was extremely efficient in getting my car open for me. Plus he got there 15 minutes early. Even with the bug issue, he finished before he was even supposed to be there.
I appreciated the check in call notifying me of when the truck would arrive. The tracking app was also amazingly helpful. My technician Noel was friendly and expertly loading my car on the flatbed in a tight strip mall parking lot. He was entertaining to talk to on the way to the shop. The auto shop was jammed packed with cars, and yet Noel still managed to back it in and securely unload it. Excellent service all the way around.
