Today, as I was leaving a store located in Springfield, MO, I had some trouble with my vehicle which literally left me unable to change gears. Since I was just a few blocks away from my usual car repair place, I called to ask about getting a repair done and if they could recommend a towing company. The gent then gave me the name and number for Henry's. After speaking with the nice lady that answered phone (I'm sorry but I don't recall her name, frankly I was a bit flustered at the time...) to get a tow dispatched, Robert (Operator #41) arrived. When I described the issue I was having, he asked me to pop the hood so he could take a look, and he was able to get the shift cable temporarily attached that let me get my vehicle to the repair garage. Robert certainly saved the day for me with his help! I can't say I'm looking forward to my next mechanical breakdown, but if it happens, I know who to call!

Requested a new battery from AAA and they sourced Henry’s towing. They came to install the battery and then because my car wouldn’t start they told me it was my starer and I am going to need to get a new one after charging me $200 for the battery. Then took it to my auto shop and they told me the battery that Henry’s towing was bad and that my starter was not bad at all. Got a new battery from my own auto shop and my car runs great. Goes to show these guys will try and rip you off and lie to you to get you to spend more money while they take NO responsibility.

Absolute terrible company, stole my credit card information, overcharged me, and had complete idiots working the phones. AAA Members, if this company gets your tow, tell them you do not want them to even touch your car.

Avoid this company! Extremely unprofessional—made me wait a long time, and when they finally arrived, the person they sent had no idea how to remove a flat tire. Total waste of time!

My car had a flat last night, I have a Volkswagen and went through them to get roadside assistance this morning and they contracted Henry's towing to assist. The ETA was spot on and the technician Christian was amazing! He was so helpful and kind. Super personable and very informative. He fixed the tire in no time and even checked if my tires had air in them. I am a single mom with a 7 year old son and I can truly say I am very much appreciative of that extra helpful gesture. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

Amazing service! When you call a 24 hour tow truck company you expect someone to answer the phone wether it's 11pm, 1am, 3am and so on. Over 90% of the companies we called either didn't answer or the call would just end when we pressed any options. And the ones that did answer didn't have anyone available. After about 2 hours of trying to figure out what to do, calling company after company, we finally found Henry's towing at 5am. They were very empathetic on the phone, arrived in about 15 minutes, great customer service, it was overall a great experience for such an overwhelming situation. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL Incorrect Battery Installation: I used Henry's Towing for a car battery installation 14 months ago. They not only installed the wrong type of battery, one which is explicitly not recommended by both the battery manufacturer and my car's maker, but are now refusing to honor their 18-month warranty because they decided to drop their account with Interstate Batteries - which should not be my problem. Location Issue: Despite living just one town away, in Irvine I was told they "no longer service my location." Their solution? Asking me to drive my car - which had a dead battery - to Garden Grove to speak to an Interstate Batteries dirstributory to rectify the mistake originally made by Henry’s. Unprofessional Staff: The supervisor I spoke to was incredibly rude, talking over me, refusing to assist, and even hanging up on me. She refused to even disclose her name. Misinformation: I have a car with auto start/stop functionality. The supervisor claimed that "if the car turns on, then the battery is fine" as her rationale for insisting the battery they installed was appropriate for my vehicle. A battery might power up a car but can cause long-term issues if it's the incorrect type for that specific vehicle model. Evidence: the battery is dead after 1 year. It's vital to note that standard batteries cannot be used in cars with auto start/stop functionality. These vehicles require batteries designed to handle frequent starts and stops, ensuring both vehicle performance and longevity. Using a standard battery jeopardizes the vehicle's overall functionality. Any competent technician would know this, yet the supervisor tried to assert that my purchase of the new battery was completely discretionary. Compensation: I've now had to pay for 2 batteries in the last year and am bearing the financial brunt of Henry's Towing's mistake. All I seek is appropriate compensation for my new battery given the circumstances. In summary, I found Henry's Towing to be lacking in professionalism, responsibility, and customer service. This lack of accountability is a red flag for anyone considering their services. Potential customers, beware: you might be their next victim.

I called Triple A to have my car towed to the dealer Moises called me & arrived timely to which I thanked him It went downhill from there He is rude, interrupted me on several occasions & then after jump starting the car he wanted to know if I just wanted to drive to the dealer. I told him no I would prefer to have it towed. He said that the dealer would probably give me a loaner car… I once again told him I just wanted it towed to the dealer. I was in the front yard talking to the dealer on the phone. Moises was in the car & just started honking the horn, several times. He wanted the key. When I was telling him who to give the key to at the dealers he continued to interrupt me. I finally told him to calm down & just listen. I went outside to take a picture of the phone number so I could call his company and he attempted to apologize for his behavior. I will be calling Triple A to report Moises as a extremely rude person to have to deal with

Horrible customer service. Liberty Mutual Roadside Assistance contacted them for me a tire change service. Their dispatch called after about 30 minutes and told me the ETA was 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, the service driver called and said he would be there in 20 minutes. I told he that's what the last person said and he got an attitude and said "Well do you want me to come or not?" I called their dispatch to figure out what went wrong and they lied and said they didn't know who called me initially and told me the first ETA. When he arrived he said he couldn't do anything until the payment was made and called someone on his cell phone and asked for my credit card. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him my card (they gave me a very bad vibe) and asked to have the company call me so I could make it that way. I did not think my request was unreasonable. He got mad and cancelled the service after I waited an hour. I called their company back and the didn't care. Do not use their service.

I had called Toyota Roadside Assistance since this comes with my warranty. At first, I did place my request and they told me this place would be sending me a text with an ETA. I didn't receive it. I called back, and they told me my request was not in the system, so I had to re-do it. So I did. I got the text message from the Roadside service with my ETA from 60-70. In the meantime, I was searching up all the reviews with this company. I have had nothing but bad experiences before with roadside assistance. Well, I read that this place sometimes are unaware of requests being sent to them. So I called just to get my status. A very nice agent told me that the person assigned to me us finishing up a jump start and gave me an ETA of 30 mins. It was so perfect. While waiting, the Roadside assistance people were about to cancel this company and issue me a different one. I told them to not to as they gave me a new ETA all under the 60 mins AND my roadside assistance messed up the first time. The guy came and helped me with my car and gave some tips as well. I will request for this company again if I ever need roadside assistance again. Also, a good tip is calling the tow truck company directly to get a better ETA, rather than using the third party for an update.

Henry’s Towing, which is under new management as of this posting, is an overall good towing company. I would have given the company 5 stars if it was not for the “Con” listed below. Notes/ Timeline: 1. My vehicle is a 2016 Lexus ES 350, with less than 40K miles (as of this posting). 2. I called my insurance for a jump start for a dead battery in February of 2022. Henry’s Towing was the service provider. 3. The battery was replaced with Henry’s Towing recommended 30 month warranty battery for my Lexus (see photo of new battery which was installed in February 2022). Quincy was the technician who replaced the battery. Excellent customer service, polite, thorough, informative, detail oriented, and tested the car’s alternator with a smile. Thank you Quincy for a job well done! Individuals such as yourself are a blessing to those who are stranded without an operational vehicle. 4. The new battery which was installed in February was dead in May 2022. I called Henry’s Towing directly (not through my insurance) since the new battery was still under warranty. Technician came and jump started my car. This was no fault of Quincy’s instillation. All good so far… 5. The battery was dead again. This time in August 2022. I called Henry’s Towing directly to have a battery swapped since the battery died twice while under warranty. 6. Spoke to Edwin (dispatcher) on 08/04/22 to schedule a battery swap for 08/12/22. He offered to also send a technician out in the meantime to jumpstart my car so that I would not be stranded. I informed him - all is good, I’ll use my other car in the meantime and to keep my appointment for 08/12/22 for the swapping of the battery for the Lexus. Excellent customer service Edwin. It is because of individuals such as yourself business have repeat customers. 7. I called Henry’s Towing on 08/11/22 to confirm my battery swap for 08/12/22. I spoke to Janisa (dispatcher) who transferred me to Mohamad (who identified himself as the manager). If Mohamad was not his actual name - then disregard the name going forward. 8. This is where things go off the rails with Mohamad. He demanded I take a photo of the battery which was installed by Henry’s Towing back in February 2022 and send it to him. I explained, all I’m doing is confirming my appointment for the battery swap for the next day. He refused to listen to my situation. Instead, he was belligerent, rude, and aggressive on the phone. He demanded, I take a photo of my battery and send it to him because he DID NOT believe the battery was under a 30 month warranty. I informed him I was not with my vehicle to take the photo and send it to him. He said, “When you get to your vehicle to take a photo and send it then.” Indicating he did not believe the battery was under a 30 month warranty. I was not going to wait 10 hours (until I was with my Lexus) to prove to Mohamad the warranty with a photo. I informed him that Henry’s Towing records and invoice should indicate the battery instillation on February of 2022 with the type of battery and other pertinent details of the service which was done - I as the customer should not have to prove to a business who “should” have detailed records of services of their customers. He and I continued to have a heated circular discussion of my service appointment confirmation for 08/12/22. I can’t believe Mohamad is so ill mannered, naive, unintelligent, and irresponsible. He definitely gives Henry’s Towing a bad reputation for customer service. He eventually hung up on me. Mohamad see the PHOTO. 9. I called back on 08/11/22 after the “manager” hung up on me. I spoke to Janisa (dispatcher) and she confirmed my battery swap. She was awesome and VERY helpful. Thanks Janisa. 10. 08/12/22 Edwin called me at 9am to confirm my battery swap around 10:45am. Thanks Edwin. 11. 08/12/22 battery swapped by Eduardo. Excellent customer service. Pros: Excellent dispatcher customer service from Janisa and Edwin. Scheduling and estimated time for service were accurate. Technicians Quincy and Eduardo - Excellent. “Cons:” Mohamad or the manager.

Had a good experience with Henry’s. Eduardo was super cooperative and made the experience less stressful. The office was responsive and gave me references on who to call if I needed any more information. I would definitely recommend. Just call to make sure on pricing. Had to pay a pretty penny for impound fees. Otherwise, if you need a tow, these are the guys.

The drivers were fine. They came and jump started my car on Aug 25, Sep 3, Sep 5. My car is at Toyota. I told them that I had to have Henry's Towing jump start my car because the battery died on those 3 dates. I called Henry's Towing and asked if they could provide me with a list either via email or text so that I can prove to Toyota that there's something wrong with my battery. Henry's Towing told me "we do not keep those records." I, frankly, cannot understand that. If that's true it's unbelievable for a lot of reasons!! If not true then the lady who answered the phone just didn't want to be bothered!!

So I locked my keys out of my car and called my insurance company around 6:15 p.m. on a Thursday night and I was told a 60 minute wait. 90 minutes later I call they say it'll be another 90 minutes. They should have never taken the call if they could not have help me in the first place they called me at 10:55 p.m. asking me if I still needed assistance which luckily a man who owned a towing company seen me struggling and just stopped and done it for free approximately 10:00 p.m. but I still waited they should have never ever taken the call if they could not help me in a timely manner I looked on Google seeing their rating had two stars if I could give it a half a star I would. Very s***** business and customer service apparently I'm not the only one who's had this issue. Hopefully someone else will read this and not use this company to help them out when they are in need no bueno guys no bueno!

The transmission on my car went out, so I called AAA. Had major problems with AAA's customer service, but once Moises, from Henry's Towing showed up, things went much better. He handled everything quickly, professionally, and was a pleasure to talk to on the drive home. Thank you, Moises, for making an unpleasant situation more tolerable!

Terrible towing experience! 1). Booked my tow on a mid-morning weekday so not what I consider rush hour. Estimate was an hour and reality I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes for the tow truck to arrive and that was after nagging the dispatcher, after waiting 75 minutes with no one showing up. 2). When the driver arrived he informed me he would not let me ride along with my vehicle which put me in a giant bind! I fully understand with covid if they restrict passengers. However they should have clearly stated this ahead of time especially since I talked to dispatcher about the location of my driver. The dispatcher told me that it was strictly up to the driver's discretion, however the driver told me he had cameras in the truck and it was company policy that he was not allowed passengers. So clearly someone was lying. Considering I had two hours and 45 minutes to wait on my tow, had I known this was going to be an issue I could have easily arranged for someone to provide me a ride to the repair shop. Instead I had to hire an Uber, so an extra 20 bucks right there plus tip. 3). And this is the most unacceptable of all. The driver had a good head start on me while I walked to the street and booked an Uber then waited for my ride. Drove over there about 15 minutes and arrived at the shop asking if they'd started on my car yet, only to find out that the tow driver had yet to arrive with my vehicle. It took him 35 minutes to show up with my car. Not only was this more time wasted on top of the two hours at 45 minutes I already have waited but now due to his inexplicable absence my vehicle had to wait even longer to get serviced. And most disturbingly where was this guy with my vehicle that entire time? Definitely a horrible first impression. Will not hesitate to tell others about my experience. (Follow up) - owner wrote "Henry's Towing Service (Owner) 16 hours ago We looked at our records and never had your name as a pickup in our system. Wrong company." My response: I called back the dispatcher I'd been talking to and verified your address on South harbor boulevard in Santa Ana, you are in fact the tow company involved. So your claims that I'm talking about the wrong company are either incompetence on your part or flat-out dishonesty. Either way not good. So not only a horrible first impression, but an absolutely terrible second impression!

Unbelievably bad company. Waited over 2 and a half hours for a tow, coordinated through my insurance company. They blew through 3 ETAs and seemed almost pleased to lie about it. If you ever have your insurance set up a tow in this area, ask which company it is and if it's Henry's...maybe take your car apart and carry it somewhere piece by piece. That would be faster than waiting for them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! This was honestly the worst experience of my life. I never post anything and they upset me so much I am taking the time to write about them so nobody goes through what I did. I got a flat tire at 9:00 AM we called my insurance company to request a tow and after we set everything up through insurance I got a text at 10:45 from Henrys saying they will be there in 60 mins. After 1.5 hours we called and they said in 30 mins someone will be there. We waited another 1 hour and they never showed up. We called back and they said their tow guy was busy and that I should call my insurance company and request someone else. Thanks for letting me know after waiting by car almost 3 hours -we called the insurance company and they put in another order. I received another text and of course it was for Henrys again. I called Henrys to tell them we got them again and they said oh thats ok because we have a driver named Eduardo who can be there in 30 mins. I said do you promise because we now have been waiting by the car for hours. They said yes - well 1 hour later Eduardo never showed up so I called back they said sorry Eduardo couldn't make it but someone from a neighboring town can be there is 45 minutes. We hung up i realized at this point that by the time they picked us up we wouldn't make the tire shop I originally wanted to go to because it closed at 5:00 pm so I called back Henrys to let them know I needed to change the destination to a tire shop who stayed open until 6:00 pm at that time they told me no tow truck was coming to pick me up because the order was cancelled through my insurance company. I said what? I just spoke to you and you said someone was coming. She said oops I don't know. I called my insurance company who informed me they did not cancel any order. This was now at almost 5:00 pm and I needed to get my car picked up and brought to the shop before they closed at 6:00 PM. So I ended up calling a local tow company I found who showed up 20 mins later who I had to pay out of pocket. By the way I had 3 kids ages 3 and under with me - so any parent out there knows this was extremely difficult to stand by a car from 10:45 AM - 5:00 PM. This is the first time I have wished for a company to go out of business they could have just been responsible and told me upfront when the original call came in or at any point throughout the day they couldn't help. They should not string people along making it sound like someone was on there way when they wasn't. By the way we made it to tire shop 5 mins before 6:00 pm so we had to leave car - how that happened considering the flat happened at 9:00 am is beyond me but it did -and this was our only car!! Horrible people horrible company - run run run as fast as you can - do yourself a favor and call another company - trust me!

Worst service have ever experienced in a business. ToyotaCare sent this service to me, and they have been nothing but a nightmare to deal with. They’ve replaced my battery twice, and I’m in the middle of dealing with them for a third time as I type this. The battery keeps dying, but it’s under warranty. Otherwise I would definitely go somewhere else. During this most recent time they sent someone to jumpstart the battery, but that didn’t fix the problem. Rather than replacing the battery on the spot, I had to put in another maintenance request to send someone to repair the battery. They wouldn’t even tow my car for me. Also, the women in the phone are extremely rude. I would avoid dealing with them at all costs. Next time ToyotaCare tries sending this clowns I will insist on someone else. I don’t care how much longer the wait is.

There's a lot of negative reviews on here, so I thought maybe people aren't posting when Henry's does a good job, or maybe their good service really is few and far between. Either way I thought I'd write about my experience: I locked my keys in my car in Laguna. I have Subaru roadside assistance and I was assigned Henry's. I did have to wait an hour and a half, but to be fair Henry's Towing is located almost an hour away. A truck driver came and he couldn't have been nicer. He got into my car in less than 30 seconds and I was on my way. Like I said, there's a lot of negative reviews about this place, but my experience with Henry's was a great one.

Henry's Towing Service was on time, courteous, and professional. When my car broke down in the middle of a busy Orange County street, I was worried that no one would be able to get to me in time. But Henry's Towing Service was there within minutes! They had me towed to the local mechanic right away, and I'm so thankful for that because it could have been a lot worse if I'd been stuck there any longer.

Company kept extending call time. When I called to talk to someone, the dispatch operator named Victoria was of zero help. All she said, over and over again was, someone is enroute. Well….. someone has been enroute for over an hour and a half. She had zero answers other than “driver is enroute”. I’m not sure why Ford road side assistance is using this unprofessional company. Fast forward and I’m still waiting for them to show. I have called the service provider multiple times and they constantly give me a different excuse as to why they haven’t shown. Spoke with shavon or Giovanne couldn’t really understand what she said her name was. I asked to speak with a manager but she stated she was the top manager and there was no one above her. I asked who her superior was and she said she didn’t have one. I asked if she was the owner of the company and she said no. I asked for a corporate manager and she again said, she was the only management and although she didn’t own the company there is no one above her. I give up!!! After reading all the other complaints, I see the owner always deflects the issue onto the dispatch or insurance company. They never take ownership of the problem. Well, I know this is not the issue it’s an excuse. I have been in contact with Henry’s towing from the minute I filed my request for service. I was given their phone number as the responding company and I have been following up with them for the last 3 hours.

Hey people Never use this company... they have no regards to the customer service ... My first call for assistance was 11:30am .. they the towing will arrive in 2hours. After 2h I call them again they say an additional 90minutes which is 3:30pm ... I waited until 3:30 in my car and called them again ... they again tell me an other 90min wait ... waiting from 11:30 am to 5pm for a towing.... this is all due to the GEICO insurance policy ... once I reach home if I do ... I will stop this policy and head to my attorney for a serious Legal follow up. GEICO and Henry’s Towing will pay the price for endangering my life the way they did today...

They came out to tow my car and were super friendly and professional. They got the job done quickly, too, so I wouldn't have to keep waiting on the side of the road. They made sure to check that my car was in good shape before taking off with it.

We went through Life360. We had the service upgrade. Towing 5 miles. After 2 and a half hours on the side of the freeway in the rain, they still didn’t even have a guy dispatched. So we couldn’t track it or ask any questions. Life360 service was horrible. They had no idea what was happening or how to fix it. Henry’s Towing is a farce. I don’t even believe the tow company exists. To keep people waiting on the side of the road and never show up should be criminal.

DO NOT USE THEM. This is one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in history. I’m not even being dramatic. We were waiting for hours and hours. Every time I would call them for an update, I only dealt with more rude people on the phone. I would not advise anyone to use them. They have wrong ETAs. They kept transferring the line when I called them. They hung up on me. Unprofessional, rude, untimely. Nancy was extremely rude, and Joseph incorrectly dealt us information. THE WORST. 1 star is the lowest rating, but they definitely do not deserve that.

If i could give no stars i would but this is the lowest i can do. Im a member of USAA and while USAA is great with everything this company they are using is HORRIBLE. We called to get an ETA. On our tow truck since my daughter an I were stranded in the freeway under a bridge with my daughter. I called and the lady answering the call sounded flustered and I. Asked if i can get a time and she said she didnt have one and that it was going to be longer than what my eta they had sent me was. I asked that they could have notified me and she said if u dont like it call USAA and request another one near your area and hanged up on me. I called USAA to request another one since they were so rude and Henrys towing had already canceled it for me. Luckily there was another company around that was able to come and get us in less than 30 min. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!
