Is very true, this guy don't respect the warranty he offers.
..I purchase an alternator from him. About a month later my car had a burnt electrical smell. Well the alternator had mess up my battery and I was forced to buy a new one, Costing me $220 in order to drive back home.
I took the alternator back to him, and he said that it was my fault for not checking the condition of my battery. He mention with an attitude, that my old battery fried the alternator ..which is a bunch of bull.
Than he was charging me $20 more in order to swap my alternator for a new one. At this point I had to give him the $20.
Otherwise I knew that a new alternator would cost me around $180.00 somewhere else. Since that day, I just purchase stuff only from his brother at Harbor and 17th st in santa ana. He is more honest and legit than this other guy.
..Is not the $20.00, is all about the service and principal.
This guy is the real deal. I stumbled upon his shop when I thought I would never find the altenator complete with pulley that I needed for my classic car. I had been told it was impossible by pretty much everyone. Yet, I was able to find it here. He even provided a warranty, all for half what autozone was charging. He was also available for questions related to my car even after my purchase. Would absolutely buy from him again!
To bad this was the place I just to purchased starer motors for few years and the quality of products I just to got was better.
trough the years the quality of products and service offered by this vendor is deteriorating
I purchased in november 2 starer motors from this vendor for 2 of my trucks but 1 of the starer motors that I purchased from him when bad, it was 2 months after purchase.
In a very smart action from the vendor didn't respect the warranty of 1 year that he offered
And I remembered also 3 years ago an other starter motor that I got from him was, bad in a short amount of time, it was also under warranty, and again they didn't respect warranty. We all of us, (when we make mistakes) we deserve a second chance. I already gave them a second chance and they flunk again.
In short if you guys what to by low quality product for cheap is up to you.
Me, I do not longer purchase low quality products even if they are cheap, for low quality products will get messed up soon
My recommendation do not purchase cheap products from him go somewhere else where your warranty will be valid.
I been buying parts from here. And never had a problem as other autoparts. The rebuild er guy and owner knows what is he doing and won't use cheap parts as others around the area. Parking space for the bussiness is hard to find. Other than than I will highly recommend this place.
